We had a couples massage and spent several hours in the spa afterwards. The staff were incredibly friendly and professional from start to finish. The 90-minute couples massage was absolutely wonderful and deeply relaxing
The hotel itself is stunning and immaculately clean. Its central location made it easy to explore the city, and yet it still felt like a peaceful retreat
We had a lovely stay here and although I’ve stayed here multiple times in the past, it was many years ago, so I couldn’t remeber how nice it was! We stayed in a suite that was amazing! Made us just want to stay in all weekend!
We also ate at caviar and bull onsite one night and had a fantastic meal
The breakfasts were also top draw! If you have access to the executive lounge there are decent snacks and drinks on offer. The service was great by all the staff. Only slight issue was lifts seemed had lots of problems
Great historical building with very high ceilings in the foyers. Showers can go hot and cold but tolerable. Location is walkable to Hungarian state opera, high street shopping and good restaurants

The staff were helpful throughout our stay, our room spotless and well stocked. The hotel pool is just right for a dip when sitting up on the roof. You are provided with pool towels at the spa reception
Lots of hidden beds dotted about. It's not a place to be sunbathing by the pool which some fellow guests had believed. We used it 5-7pm when returning from the day before going out in the evening
Arrived at Budapest. Got checked-in to the hotel. Fine weather and nice views😍😍
Early dinner on Spoon, a boat restaurant just right down the hotel.
Bonus: night views of Buda from Pest
When the taxi dropped us off, I did have a panic from the outside appearance. However, pushing through the door was into luxury. Beautiful hotel with its own history and greeted by wonderful staff
Fantastic experience I will never forget. The view is incredible! We have a such luxury to enjoy the night view in the room. Breakfast is also good and the room is quiet.
We picked a room facing the river and the castle! Stunning view and the room is spacious with a comfy bed. The breakfast at weekend is outstanding with sparkling wine

com 2 deluxe river view rooms, then I send the hotel and email asked for connected rooms, once I arrived the hotel 2 girls at the reception were too friendly they upgraded my rooms to the next level which was sea view with buda castle view and connected which is made my day, the hotel location is so great I just walked from the hotel to buda castle to the parliament to Margaret island then go back...
This is very nice hotel in Budapest with restaurant foods and bar. You can see the night river view and castle view from room (make sure to book the room with castle view)
We stay at this hotel for vacation, very good location and convenient.
Superb location and direct view to danube river. Walking distance to tram station, cruise ride and city centre. The room is spacious and clean
I like the sofa beside the window that allows me to enjoy the danube river view both day and night
Very convenient to access to tourist river boat port and trolley bus station from the hotel. If hotel can help to sell the public transportation tickets, that would be more convenient to travelers

This hotel combines a convenient central location with comfortable accommodations. The hotel staff is generally friendly and the rooms are well-appointed. The overall experience was positive
We stayed one night at the Mercure Hotel in Budapest and had a wonderful experience. The service was excellent, the room was very clean, and the breakfast was delicious with a good variety of options
The only thing I would appreciate would be more toiletries, there’s only shampoo and shower gel. Some conditioner, body lotion and cotton pads and swabs would be nice in a hotel of this category
Everything was well organized and comfortable, which made our short stay very pleasant. When we return to Budapest, we will definitely choose this hotel again for our stay
There was a nice selection of pastries, fruit, eggs, breakfast meats, and coffee. We were about a 5 minute walk from the Central Market Hall and the Green Freedom Bridge
If you don't need a view, I totally recommend it.

Unfortunately the outdoor pool had closed during our stay. The only issue we had was that we had 2 single beds pushed together with 2 single quilts and would have preferred an actual double bed
Beautiful Hotel in the city center, easy to access with public transport. Helpful staff at check in, bar and cleaning staff. The restaurant was lovely, good food and service
The manager went out of her way to please, even recommending her favorite desserts. Our waiter, Peter, was attentive and charming. We recommend both the hotel and the restaurant
Lovely hotel not far from the great synagogue in Budapest. Full services, great breakfasts. Their restaurant, Araz, was exceptionally good
Janos who was the most helpful person and so willing to help and gave us the best recommendations, including best running route!!!
I arrived at 7am and was able to change and go for a run before my room was ready as early as 11am!! Thank you for that!!!!
Back to the negative:
My room didn’t have a bath (my friend’s on the same floor did 🥲) and the furniture was old and kind of sad
This hotel is absolutely beautiful! The staff were really friendly and everything is within walking distance of the hotel. The saunas and pool are easily accessible

The hotel’s décor is chic and modern, blending style with comfort. The on-site souvenir shop in the basement was a delightful surprise, offering unique keepsakes to remember our stay
We stayed for a little over a week, and let me tell you that this place was THE BEST!
The staff are super friendly and very accommodating, the breakfasts were delicious and very fresh with plenty of croissants, coffee, porridge, yogurt, and more
The breakfast was excellent, offering a vast array of choices that catered to all tastes. With a spacious dining area and numerous food counters, even large groups could enjoy a quick, easy breakfast without delay
When I confirmed that the checkout time was indeed 12 noon, I didn’t understand why they felt the need to rush us out. It felt unnecessary and a bit intrusive. Despite these issues, our stay was generally fine
Very nice hotel near train station, helpful staff and clean room
For paying more than $100 Euros a night I would have expected to have air conditioning in the room it was ineffective. Staff said they could open a window. I did not expect this. I expect better.!!

The TVs in the rooms were a little wonky, but we weren't exactly sitting around watching TV. One thing to be aware of - there's a little casino in the hotel that was fun if you have a little extra time to kill
Stayed in a family suite over the Christmas holidays, and loved it. I don't get the mixed reviews. We found the staff to be exceptionally helpful and the hotel dining (breakfast and Paris Cafe) to be great
I would like to highlight Jenny's work which was beyond our expectations. When she overheard that we celebrated my father's birthday she made a small surprise for him putting a candle into his dessert
An exceptional hotel in an even more exceptional location. We got a room with a river view on the top floor. The view was absolutely incredible. The space was fantastic and served all of our needs
Rooms are the only thing which is quite standard for a few* but in a bathroom you will find an aplliance which looks like a switch and it plays a few different types of music - this is fun
The staff is incredibly attentive to the needs of their guests and will respond in a moments time. The breakfast is a true pleasure each morning

The hotel room is really big enough, large and small suitcases can be unfolded at the same time, the bathroom is separated into dry and wet areas, and there are Chinese-style charging sockets in the room, which is very considerate
The room was spacious and comfortable, and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. It was midsummer and hot, but they brought ice to my room and cooled the two complimentary bottles of cold water I could drink
We had a wonderful stay at Kempinski Hotel in Budapest. The hotel is very clean and well-organized, and the staff is attentive and quick to resolve any issues. The central location made it easy to explore the city
The toilet and shower were separate, and there was also a bathtub, which was very convenient. The shower was button-operated and very powerful, and the hairdryer was a high-quality German product
It's also right next to the airport bus stop, and is very convenient with both the subway and bus stops nearby. This is a highly recommended hotel with few Japanese or Asian customers
I stayed in this hotel twice during my trip and was satisfied! The service staff was friendly and professional, the room was clean and comfortable, and the location was convenient

Courtyard by Marriott is definitely more of a business-focused hotel. It is on the pricier side, but overall very comfortable. The staff deserve special mention — they are consistently friendly, polite, and helpful
Great location near the city center, with easy access to restaurants and affordable pricing. What stood out was that the sauna and steam room were operating even at 2 a
Breakfast is average for my Asian palate, but I appreciate the effort to offer a wide variety of dishes each morning. A few things could be improved:
The gym feels too small and gets crowded in the morning
Its central location also makes it easy to access different parts of the city. Overall, I’d rate it an 8/10 for business stays and 6. Thank you, Marriott, for a pleasant stay in Budapest
While small—just enough for two people—it was a really pleasant surprise, especially with jet lag keeping me up

The Ritz Carlton Budapest is truly one of the most exquisite hotels I have ever stayed at. Location was amazing, rooms were spectacular and the service was 10/10. I recommend staying on the club floor
The hotel is perfectly situated in the middle of most important tourists spots. The staff are supper friendly and supportive. Not to forget mentioning how clean the hotel is. It was such a nice and pleasant experience
I had a great business trip to Budapest in December. The staff (particularly a gentleman named Akos) was amazing and super attentive towards my needs. The room service and location were great as well
I would like to call out both Tamas and Alexander for going out of they way to make each morning’s breakfast such a great experience; Alexander made us custom smoothies each morning and wasn’t satisfied until they were a thing of perfection
The lounge has the best service I have maybe ever experienced. The staff is kind and makes you feel right at home. They all had our orders memorized by day two
But the real difference was being made by the very friendly and service oriented staff. Special thanks to the service manager Daniel who cared for us in an excellent and supportive way throughout our stay

We did walk to Pest but it is quite a walk, particularly on the way back because you are climbing the entire way. Ubers and Bolts are plentiful though so don’t let the location deter you
The views were amazing across the river. Great location for walking around and full of history. We had a late night snack in the restaurant that was delicious! Friendly staff and beautiful rooms
This is a beautiful hotel on the quiet Buda side of the Danube. Our room had an incredible view of the Fisherman’s Bastion, the Danube and the Parliament building
The breakfast offered a variety of options for each taste and the quality was excellent. Staff across the hotel was very kind and forthcoming- from the reception and bar to the breakfast-room and cleaning personnel
The breakfast buffet was another highlight, with a large and varied spread that was included with our Hilton status benefits. Everything from fresh pastries to hot dishes was available, and the quality was very good
Our stay at the Hilton Budapest was truly unforgettable! We were surprised and delighted to be chosen as Guest of the Week and received an incredible upgrade to a king suiet , it made our visit feel extra special

What's more terrible is that for the same price, you can get a good location through ***********. This time, two different rooms, with the same price, were booked through different companies, and the result was like this
We only stopped by for cocktails, but so nice we did it twice over a three day stay. Our second favourite hotel in Budapest if we were to come back. Great central location.
The rooms booked by Ctrip are always in the worst locations, and the hotel will not change this status even if there are many vacancies
The Christmas Eve dinner was a culinary delight, with each dish perfectly crafted. The staff in the restaurant were attentive and warm, ensuring we had everything we needed for a memorable evening
From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Every detail was carefully thought out, from the seamless check-in to the personalized touches in our room
Whether it was ice skating by the castle or a private tour of the Christmas markets, their recommendations were spot-on. Staying at the Gresham Palace truly elevated our Christmas experience

Smack in the center of places we cared about: the Hungarian opera house, the St. Stephen Basilica, and many, many good restaurants. Had a relaxing lunch at the bar within the hotel, good service
Great value and a great location. Walking distance from most attractions and of course the Danube River.
Breakfast buffet was excellent with a wide variety of choices. Clean, attractive. Would go back anytime.
Had a great stay at K+K hotel opera about half a year ago. The hotel is in a very central area of budapest and had great accessibility to spots of interest in the city
The reception staff were welcoming, attentive, and very willing to accommodate our request for a room change, which we greatly appreciated. Overall, the service throughout the hotel was professional and courteous
Stayed at K+K Hotel and overall had a great experience. The location is superb — couldn’t ask for a better spot in the city. Service was excellent, and the reception team was always kind and helpful
A special mention must go to David in the bar/dining area. He went above and beyond, providing truly outstanding service. Genuine, polite, pleasant, and professional, David made us feel special

We had a fabulous 4 night stay at Matild Palace! Nikoletta in Guest Services was awesome and made sure we had everything we needed (thank you again for the upgrade Nikoletta!!). All the staff were so very nice
Excellent! Beautiful and spacious room with fantastic location. It’s just 3-5 mins walk to popular shopping street and a lot of good bistro and restaurant along the road. Definitely will be back !
I wish I could give it more than 5 stars. The place is very clean and wonderful. The customer service and staff are friendly and attentive, and very keen on guest satisfaction
I am currently staying at the Matild Palace in Budapest, elegantly combines historic charm with modern amenities. The well-appointed rooms offer comfort and luxury. Its central location is ideal for city exploration
Their location is excellent and close to most landmarks. I only wish the rooms were a little bigger. I would definitely repeat the experience
I was welcomed by an incredibly charming, professional, and kind staff member who gave me a full tour of the space, showed me the breathtaking Danube view, told me about their cocktails and events, and even shared some stories about life in Budapest

This hotel is in the city center, close to the Danube River, and very close to the most famous Chain Bridge. The Fisherman's Bastion is still so charming, and the natural city under the sun is so harmonious and beautiful
Incredible hotel! The rooms were spacious, modern and very clean, the service was friendly and efficient and the location is central and fantastic- accessible by public transit and within walking distance to many attractions
The hotel is very close to the Niu Gaodi Central Railway Station. The transportation is convenient. It is the second time I choose to stay in this hotel. It is close to New York Cafe and many food stores
This hotel is amazingly very central. Central enough to go to the train stations and eateries were plenty. The room I had was on the 7th floor, spent 6 nights for work and stayed over weekend
Forest and Jack, so cute! Also the cafe downstairs inside the hotel is fantastic- serving delicious desserts and wonderful tea/coffee beverages! Similarly there is a delicious bakery next door with lots of great sandwiches and savoury/ sweet pastries perfect for snacks/breakfast etc
Good location on the main street. Very close to public transport stops, train station, shopping mall, restaurants, pharmacy etc. Safe and lively street. Hotel staff is helpful. Parking fee is expensive.

Room was clean, big and cosy, breakfast - amazing, you can find there everything according to you taste. One more thing I would like to highlight: you have an option to leave your luggage locker for free after check out
Kesinlikle tavsiye ediyorum.
That's cool, cause in most hotels you have to pay at least 5€ for luggage storage. We're very satisfied with conditions offered and hope one day we'll get a chance to stay here once again
Not the hotel’s fault but the surrounding area wasn’t the best - a lot of homeless/intoxicated people which didn’t make us feel the safest
Would like to thanks all staff for doing their job very nice and for being nice and attentive to all guests even though the hotel is full

Good hotel near the centre of Budapest, on the Buda side. The hotel has restaurants, bars
There are so many better alternatives in the city. STILL one of the best vibes of old Central Europe, if you don´t stay here overnight
The river-view rooms get a lot of sun. While the shady side rooms, and the common areas were quite cool, even in July, The 2 days when the temp got up around 30c, it was a bit warm. The rest of the time it was fine
Three of those have a large balcony, which is perfect for an evening drink and cigar. :)
Note: As is common in traditional European hotels, these rooms are NOT air conditioned. They have copious windows and a fan
Ole allegiance. Wonderful staff. 2 nice cafe/restaurant. Stayed 2015. Views of Duna river. Lot's of places to walk to. On a bus line, and staff will call for a cab, they speak English! Wonderful
Would give 5 stars but with a caveat. We had a room with a balcony and views of the Danube. The room is large with beautiful antique furniture. The room has a Minibar but no kettle

Large and very quiet rooms, excellent cleaning. Excellent breakfast, I also had lunch and dinner and everything was very good. Next to the hotel there is a private parking, essential if you have a car
The breakfast had a lot of options and it was delicious, the rooms are very clean and the staff were always nice. I would definitely stay here again
Value for money stay at Movenpick Hotel (previously known as Novotel), enjoyed the very soft bed and modern design of the room
Excellent location next to tram and metro stations, and lots of restaurants and supermarkets within 5 min walk

My experience at Castle Garden Hotel in Budapest was great overall — the rooms were clean, the location is quiet yet central, and everything felt comfortable and welcoming
There was no 'do not disturb' or 'clean my room' notice and the cleaners did not come on our second day. I asked at reception for them to clean the room the following day, which they did
When we asked later at reception where to purchase bus tickets we were given a vague direction "in the square" which was very unhelpful
When we arrived from the airport at 12. 30pm, we were abruptly told that we were too early, but then told the room was ready
We said good morning or evening when coming and going to the person on reception but this was not always reciprocated
We had room only but were given no instructions about the hotel, breakfast, restaurant, spa, or the local area
