The entrance to the building and hallway is grand and welcoming. The SPA pool area is excellent and very relaxing. The rooms are nice clean, quiet and most importantly the beds are comfortable
The separate elevator entrance to the SPA is appreciated. The hotel is in a very good location with many places to eat in the area. All staff in the hotel are extremely polite and helpful
The lunch food was perfect, the service too. The gala dinner was very well organized and we all left with amazing memories. Again the menu was varied and delicious. I am very satisfied with my stay there
To my surprise the beauty of the city was breathtaking and the hotel is 5 star in my book. Every guest treated like royalty. You must put this city on your bucket list to visit
Very good selection for breakfast which can be taken either in the restaurant or the atrium. Located in easy walking distance of many main attractions. Tram stop right in front of the hotel

The staff were helpful throughout our stay, our room spotless and well stocked. The hotel pool is just right for a dip when sitting up on the roof. You are provided with pool towels at the spa reception
Lots of hidden beds dotted about. It's not a place to be sunbathing by the pool which some fellow guests had believed. We used it 5-7pm when returning from the day before going out in the evening
The hotel is situated in a lovely position if you want to walk, which we did regularly. The metro is close and easy to navigate thanks to leaflets from the hotel
I promise you once you arrive here you find it hard to leave specially front desk and all sector my highest appreciation to the management This hotel should be award Winning hotel by tourism Industrially
Hotel was very nice including the room. Front desk service was very attentive. Convenient location adjacent to the Danube River and all the major sites
When the taxi dropped us off, I did have a panic from the outside appearance. However, pushing through the door was into luxury. Beautiful hotel with its own history and greeted by wonderful staff

The location is great for getting around with tram and metro right outside the hotel but almost everything is in walking distance. There is also a bus running to the airport right across the street

Very pleasant and modern hotel no complaints at all yet but it wasn't cheap so expected it to be good I only downside with the prostitutes are often seen standing outside on the riverbank nearest and told to move on by the hotel staff
Amazing Location, the view from the rooms is breath taking. Breakfast buffet has a very good variety. Shopping area is 7 min walking distance. Tram is just infront of the hotel

It was not the first time I chose the hotel's restaurant for dinner. I love the atmosphere! The food is always delicious and the service is excellent! The staff is always smiling, all of them are very helpful
I would like to highlight Jenny's work which was beyond our expectations. When she overheard that we celebrated my father's birthday she made a small surprise for him putting a candle into his dessert
An exceptional hotel in an even more exceptional location. We got a room with a river view on the top floor. The view was absolutely incredible. The space was fantastic and served all of our needs
Rooms are the only thing which is quite standard for a few* but in a bathroom you will find an aplliance which looks like a switch and it plays a few different types of music - this is fun
But what I found the most appealing was the architecture and interior design - breathtaking! The best hotel I have visited so far and I saw quite a number! Must see, must stay

It’s so close to the castle and overlooks the river!
We received a warm welcome from Leonard at the front desk- sometimes Hungarian customer service isn’t super warm even when the service is excellent
Wonderful hotel, very gracious staff at the front desk, restaurant, breakfast buffet, and cleaning staff. Rooms are very well appointed, spacious, comfortable, and easy to plug in and charge devices
Breakfast was amazing every morning, often fueling us all the way to dinner each day! It was unfortunate that the "closing" time of the restaurant is listed as 11pm, but the kitchen stops cooking at 1030pm, and we were denied a table at 1020pm when all we wanted was dessert
The views from the restaurant look out over Fisherman's Bastion, and it's just like a fairy tale. Would definitely stay here again, and enjoyed the location relative to the popular tourist sights!
The views were amazing across the river. Great location for walking around and full of history. We had a late night snack in the restaurant that was delicious! Friendly staff and beautiful rooms
The young women in the morning at the executive lounge were really darling to us. Our room was well appointed, super comfortable beds & the bathroom had a shows and tub & all the amenities

The best location. The room was very big and perfectly planned for maximum functionality. The bed was so good that I slept very well. The staff was absolutely the best that I ever met
So this hotel is very very good so I have the impression that the bad reviews are not so correct. Indeed, in the neighborhood there is some works but it is not under hotel control to speed up or to stop the process
The people are so dedicated, the chef was at dinner and lunch with us to see if everything is ok, every night the bed was prepared for night in a very special mode. Was for the first time when I saw a such service
waiter Benjamin, in the breakfast area, was a delight! His service was exceptional. His attention to detail was profound. Compliments to him and you for hiring him. He’s a great asset to your hotel
Food was amazing, with taste and also traditional Hungarian but at the same time international. Good Indian food (they have a special chef for this). Included the breakfast is very very good
Went above and beyond to make us comfortable and happy. Also, the breakfast, the restaurant, and the bar were perfect. Highly recommend hotel !!! and I'm a frequent traveler

Mercure Budapest City Center Hotel is very comfortable, with direct access to Vaci Street. The rooms are cozy, though slippers weren't provided; however, all other amenities were available

Despite the high price, we were happy to be upgraded to a suite due to overbooking, which was amazing. The hotel is in a great central location and very clean. Breakfast was pretty good too

We stayed in a room looking across the Danube towards the Hungarian parliamentary building. Absolutely the best view at night when it’s all lit up. The hotel is very convenient to tram, bus and train
This is a wonderful hotel with respect to location, proximity to train, tram, bus stops, complimentary breakfast, friendly staff and quick services. We stayed 3 days here and had the best experience

The facilities of the hotel are great. Our room was very quiet, comfortable and clean. The breakfast was amazing, had a lot of variety and the food was of great quality. The location of the hotel is really convenient
After my wife had an accident and broke a bone in her foot whilst out sight seeing the “guest relations manager” did everything he could to look after us and make sure she was comfortable, always looking for us and asking if there was anything he could do to help
Unfortunately the outdoor pool had closed during our stay. The only issue we had was that we had 2 single beds pushed together with 2 single quilts and would have preferred an actual double bed
The manager went out of her way to please, even recommending her favorite desserts. Our waiter, Peter, was attentive and charming. We recommend both the hotel and the restaurant
The best thing about the hotel were the staff members. All the staff members in every post were highly professional, extremely helpful, very polite and very friendly

Very beautiful, clean hotel, perfect location, 5 minutes near the metro. The parking is quite expensive (25 euro/day), but it is a normal price due to the central location of the hotel

No tea/coffee facilities in the rooms, you have to rent a kettle for €20 deposit. Nice balcony to sit out on but only one chair 🤷🏼♀️ Room safe easy to operate. Mini fridge with a few free drinks inside
You can easily walk to everything! The rooms were clean, the service was satisfactory, and the breakfast had a good variety. However, I was a bit disappointed that there were no pancakes included

Great classical 4* hotel, elegant, there is a roof terrace bar viewing Budapest. The staff are very nice and everything was okay. There were a lot of parking place in front of hotel free of charge.
We were on the first floor room 115 and the room is small but very comfortable. The whole hotel is beautiful and very clean! Hotel offers rich buffet breakfast. There is also spa, but we didn't use it
The hotel is in a perfect location for most of the tourist attractions and restaurants and main Christmas market which was great
Air conditioning also took a while to cool down our room so we ended up always keeping it on even when we went out. Overall, I think this is a budget friendly choice for people who want to be near the action of Budapest
They have a varied selection but I preferred to go on a walk to find a cafe or brunch restaurant instead. The pool was also out of service while I stayed there

Good hotel near the centre of Budapest, on the Buda side. The hotel has restaurants, bars
The river-view rooms get a lot of sun. While the shady side rooms, and the common areas were quite cool, even in July, The 2 days when the temp got up around 30c, it was a bit warm. The rest of the time it was fine
Three of those have a large balcony, which is perfect for an evening drink and cigar. :)
Note: As is common in traditional European hotels, these rooms are NOT air conditioned. They have copious windows and a fan
Ole allegiance. Wonderful staff. 2 nice cafe/restaurant. Stayed 2015. Views of Duna river. Lot's of places to walk to. On a bus line, and staff will call for a cab, they speak English! Wonderful

This might be the best Courtyard I've ever stayed in a European city, and it’s located right next to the station. Courtyard is a decent brand hotel under Marriott

The hotel is perfectly situated in the middle of most important tourists spots. The staff are supper friendly and supportive. Not to forget mentioning how clean the hotel is. It was such a nice and pleasant experience
I had a great business trip to Budapest in December. The staff (particularly a gentleman named Akos) was amazing and super attentive towards my needs. The room service and location were great as well
I would like to call out both Tamas and Alexander for going out of they way to make each morning’s breakfast such a great experience; Alexander made us custom smoothies each morning and wasn’t satisfied until they were a thing of perfection
The lounge has the best service I have maybe ever experienced. The staff is kind and makes you feel right at home. They all had our orders memorized by day two
But the real difference was being made by the very friendly and service oriented staff. Special thanks to the service manager Daniel who cared for us in an excellent and supportive way throughout our stay

This hotel is amazingly very central. Central enough to go to the train stations and eateries were plenty. The room I had was on the 7th floor, spent 6 nights for work and stayed over weekend
Forest and Jack, so cute! Also the cafe downstairs inside the hotel is fantastic- serving delicious desserts and wonderful tea/coffee beverages! Similarly there is a delicious bakery next door with lots of great sandwiches and savoury/ sweet pastries perfect for snacks/breakfast etc
