Brilliant place to stay. Went here on a stag do and it couldnt have been better. Pool, bar, massive garden, sauna and close to the city. Nice, clean well looked after place.

A few in our party had to work while at the Villa and the Wifi was excellent. When it was time to relax, the pool, hot tub, and sauna were perfect

This place was amazing, rooms were massive with very clean bathrooms, kitchen had all the most cons you could ever need. The indoor pools and jacuzzi was brilliant. I can't give this place enough praise, simply great.

Our stay, at Villa Budapest in early May, was perfect in every regard. Eniko, Gabor, Kinga, and Adam were the perfect hosts. Since it was our first visit to Budapest, they helped us plan almost every aspect of our trip

The balcony view, of the Buda side of town, was amazing and everyone was comfortable in their own private bedroom and bathroom. The kitchen had everything we needed during our ten day stay

Amazing house!!! fully equiped with all amenities. Host very organized and helpful! We were 14 couples and had a wonderfull time. We definately reccomend it if you wan to visit Budapest!

Good quality hotel located in an excellent location within the West End Shopping centre, and adjacent to the railway station. Easy walking distance to many of the top attractions plus inumerable bars and restaurants

Staff were very friendly and service was very professional. So glad I stayed here with my friends and was lovely coming back after a long day of sightseeing. Booked a relaxing massage which was also professional.

A very good hotel. The only thing no swimming pool. And in a bar why there was no selection of Beers. Otherwise everything was great

Very spacious rooms (I was upgraded to a suite) and a rooftop executive lounge with a decent selection of food and drinks (big plus for the outside terrace with views on Parliament)

Great stuff. Wonderful rooms and breakfast was the best. The hotel is close to new york cafe and the metro station is just in front of the hotel.

Carpets could use a deep cleaning here and there but overall it’s fine. It’s also kinda loud outside at night and the AC was not working in our room, so we had to sleep with the window open

A hotel in the VII district of Budapest. Is a good place, convenient to reach and near to airport and the center. The rooms are good but small and the stuff is friendly and helpful

Great location, 300m away from the Metro station. Stuff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is not the newest and cleanest one you’ll see but it’s not dirty either

The only flaw is the food served in dinner, discreet than other locals in the city, but the breakfast it's okay

The entrance to the building and hallway is grand and welcoming. The SPA pool area is excellent and very relaxing. The rooms are nice clean, quiet and most importantly the beds are comfortable

The separate elevator entrance to the SPA is appreciated. The hotel is in a very good location with many places to eat in the area. All staff in the hotel are extremely polite and helpful

The room had an elegant interior design with classic elements, it was very spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable and I had a gorgeous view of the rest of the building from our window

To my surprise the beauty of the city was breathtaking and the hotel is 5 star in my book. Every guest treated like royalty. You must put this city on your bucket list to visit

The staff were friendly and warm, great breakfast buffet, and beautiful THE ROYAL SPA was very relaxing, spending the evening there after a long day of walking in the city, nothing was rushed and a very well chilled out atmosphere

The staff at the reception could be more friendly, they are really passive, but it can be improved:) there was an amazing asian cleaning guy and he was soo friendly and verry motivated and making good vibes

This hotel surprised me in a good way right from the beginning when i stepped into the reception. It’s very cozy and nicely decorated. The rooms are spacious and very clean. There are towels and a hair deyer

The staff were helpful throughout our stay, our room spotless and well stocked. The hotel pool is just right for a dip when sitting up on the roof. You are provided with pool towels at the spa reception

Lots of hidden beds dotted about. It's not a place to be sunbathing by the pool which some fellow guests had believed. We used it 5-7pm when returning from the day before going out in the evening

Stayed for several days at Intercontinental prior to going on Viking River Cruise. The hotel is very nice and in a perfect location to see the sights of Budapest. Room was comfortable with all the basic amenities

This hotel is not new or modern, and wasn't renovated lately. However excellent maintenance keeps it in a very good form. we were three couples and enjoyed our stay very much

The hotel is situated in a lovely position if you want to walk, which we did regularly. The metro is close and easy to navigate thanks to leaflets from the hotel

The rooms are big and amenities are of good quality. The breakfast has many options for all taste and a really good Lebanese corner with fresh pita bread

This has ended our use of Airbnb after staying here. They have a luggage drop so you can still explore the city on your day off departure, amazing! Amazing stay and topped off our trip

The best nights sleep we’ve had in two weeks, the bed was comfy, air con was nice and cool. If we return to Budapest we’ll be staying here & i’d recommend it to anyone that comes here

We booked an Airbnb and it was disgustingly dirty, left shortly after and found this, we booked this room at the front desk and it was spotless

In the basement they had bowling area. Gym, swimming pool, salt room, sauna room. but unfortunately the broken wall repaired with duct tape. And the other room, the door handle was fall down if you close the door

I was with my family for a few days around Christmas, so the hotel was full, and this did not bother us at all because we had peace (very good sound proof), enough space and very good food at breakfast, and every day we found a parking place

I stayed here for 5 days to attend a conference this November, the facilities, staff and experience were great. There was a few issues with elevators and room keys, but I can't fault the service at all

I have been only in the lobby and the bar. Friendly and polite international staff, clean and cosy place. If you need they have a private parking lot for a fair price (approximately 1 euro/hour).

The hotel staff will treat you with respect and a smile. It had a very good pool and jacuzzi. Our room was very nice and quiet. But the bathroom was not very clean. We paid 180 euros for a double night

Stayed in a family suite over the Christmas holidays, and loved it. I don't get the mixed reviews. We found the staff to be exceptionally helpful and the hotel dining (breakfast and Paris Cafe) to be great

The TVs in the rooms were a little wonky, but we weren't exactly sitting around watching TV. One thing to be aware of - there's a little casino in the hotel that was fun if you have a little extra time to kill

It’s so close to the castle and overlooks the river! We received a warm welcome from Leonard at the front desk- sometimes Hungarian customer service isn’t super warm even when the service is excellent

Breakfast was amazing every morning, often fueling us all the way to dinner each day! It was unfortunate that the "closing" time of the restaurant is listed as 11pm, but the kitchen stops cooking at 1030pm, and we were denied a table at 1020pm when all we wanted was dessert

The views from the restaurant look out over Fisherman's Bastion, and it's just like a fairy tale. Would definitely stay here again, and enjoyed the location relative to the popular tourist sights!

Great atmosphere! Try the chardonay! And the limonade is the best in town ! Too bad we didn't have enough time to try the restaurant ,which was very promising and with good prices ( maybe next time !) ,we must do the cruise on the Danube, which is superbe, better than the Parisian one

So this hotel is very very good so I have the impression that the bad reviews are not so correct. Indeed, in the neighborhood there is some works but it is not under hotel control to speed up or to stop the process

Good breakfast and clean rooms. Position is perfect for visiting Budapest with metro or tram. Nice view of the park. Acceepts pets and they have also smoking rooms.

The room size is quite large, but the bed is a coffee table, two armchairs, a dressing table, closet with kitchenette, a safety Deposit box. There should be a pool, but with my busy work schedule to the pool never came

Mercure Budapest City Center Hotel is very comfortable, with direct access to Vaci Street. The rooms are cozy, though slippers weren't provided; however, all other amenities were available

Visited in August 2024 on business. This hotel is in the perfect central location, located on one of the main shopping streets. The hotel itself has air conditioned rooms, super comfortable beds and the usual amenities

The bar serves drinks all day and has a bar menu which is also tasty. WiFi throughout, albeit quite slow but this is really only a small irritation! When next in Budapest I will visit again

The sunbeds are in terrible condition, and towels are not provided at the pool entrance—you have to bring small towels from your room. It feels more like a public pool than a hotel complex

It’s evident that this hotel was once grandiose, but time has taken its toll. The large complex with pools is impressive in size, but there are more outside visitors than hotel guests, which gives the place a cheap feel

The front office staff were also very patient and caring when I requested support to print out few documents. Such a BIG HELP!! You are amazing team!!!

The train and bus station just a few blocks walk is really useful to take the subway and the Square in front of it has bus stops of various hop on hop off buses
