Our apartment had sleeper couch and two single beds. No air-con. Not good ventilation. 2 fans were going 24/7. Lots of counter space and plug sockets. No lighting in bedroom other than small insignificant lamp, neither of which worked properly. Fridge is great. We made sandwiches and obviously tea and coffee. Appreciated apartment being serviced every day. Clean towels daily. Beds comfy and linen clean. Shower was ok. Overall a great week spent in Hévíz!

Since the hotel was built, our family has had a one week holiday in February. For more than 20 years we have spent that week there every year.
For a few years after the transfer, it was considered a very good and modern hotel, and the market price was always lower than the others. Very good location: right next to the lake's summer entrance and the bus station. I can't say much about the view, because we were on the second floor, in the attic room, and from there you can see the roof structure of the roofed courtyard, but the sun shines through the windows unhindered (which is a big advantage .
The beds are comfortable (including the extra bed), but the table is small for 4 people. The kitchen is standard. The cabinets are big enough for 4 people. Cleanliness and cleaning were never a problem and the staff was always very nice. The TV is very small, outdated. The program selection is equal to zero. No Wi-Fi, not even paid (if only, with poor coverage). The bathroom is big enough, but the ventilation is bad.
Floor mats have been replaced with laminate flooring and bathroom fixtures have been upgraded. Exterior and interior doors and windows are worn out and should be replaced. The elevator is down, slow, but at least it is. The reception has been closed and there is a restaurant where you can have breakfast in another building, the Kalma Hotel. Opening the main entrance door has been a pain for many years (with a sartorial gait).
It is recommended for a long weekend, 1-2 nights, if you have a program all day and only in the evening, you go back to sleep. I do not recommend it for more time or for the whole week!

The accommodation was basically fine, the key can be picked up at the hotel in the neighboring street, breakfast is also available there. The room was nice big and clean, the bed was comfortable. It can be very hot in the summer due to the rooftop layout. It can be confusing at dawn that the blinds on the skylight are not completely passable, the light filtered in at the edge at dawn. Wi-Fi is not included in the room price, you have to pay for it separately, which in my opinion is quite steep in 2019...
