Best Hotels in Heviz

We stayed for 8 nights, but the bathrobe was not replaced as before. Has the concept changed? We were very pleased with the range of dishes in the restaurant. Cold soups are back again! Thank you very much!

Some guests think it is possible to change clothes there, as a result, a queue of those who just need to wring out their swimsuit and those who need to go to the toilet accumulates

We were at the hotel for the first time. We liked everything so much during the first day that we extended our stay for another 6 days. Since the treatment in Lake Xeviz is optimal for 10 days

But I would like to point out a negative point: the centrifuge was not placed in the open access as it was before, but in the toilet

Easy to access by public transport direct by Volan Bus from Budapest, or train from the Budapest Déli or south station in Buda, to Keszthely, then frequent buses to Hévíz (10 minutes)

lobby bar (see time table picture) Food was good quality, changing and fresh variety, for vegetarians too: salads, soups, breads, pasta, vegetables, rice/potato, then 3-4 meat dishes inc a chicken, beef, pork or fish; many dessert choices too (think gluten &/or sugar free too)

Lovable place with great personnel and awesome kitchen. I can't complain. 3rd time there, still perfectly satisfied. 5/5

All very good, comfortable, clean. The staff tries to help. The only drawback: inconvenient pillows.

The location of the hotel is very inaccessible by public transport, car rental is recommended

The hotel service is very good and gives people a comfortable enjoyment! And the price is reasonable, the cost performance is very high. The food provided is very rich, no matter what age group, they are very satisfied.

An excellent resort, very tasty breakfasts and dinners, there are various SPA treatments, there are pools with thermal water of different temperatures, as well as an outdoor swimming pool, there is a sauna, hammam, etc

We had a conference at Hotel Carbona. This a large, nicely refurbished hotel. The room was cosy, the service was great. The spa and wellness unit is fantastic. Also it is very nice to walk around Héviz

This is the core thing making me not want to come back. Another big annoyance was the room's key needed to keep the electric lights/sockets powered, meaning all sockets would be powered off every time you leave the room

The breakfast selection was enormous and the food was very tasty

It's a big, busy (in August), probably late socialist-era resort hotel that's actually quite pleasant. For an overnight stay it's excellent and I wouldn't have minded staying longer

I didn't try any of the many "health"/beauty treatments on offer but they're inexpensive. (The lifts/elevators are few and slow

Supper clean, we loved it! Breakfast and Dinner are included in stay and the spread is very nice for kids and adults. Good real food not just your average Mac and cheese for sure!

It was one of the best treatments I've ever had—her work was outstanding, and I thoroughly enjoyed the calm, focused atmosphere she created, exactly how a treatment should be

Additionally, I had a manicure with gel polish, and Betty did an incredible job. She's a perfectionist and made sure not to miss even the tiniest detail. I am beyond happy with the precise and flawless results

I would like to highly recommend the spa at Hotel Kolping. I had two treatments there: a Swedish full-body massage plus a head massage, both done by Agnes, a highly professional and skilled medical therapist

I would like to mention that as far as I know, only this, the hotel provides passes to the lake for the entire duration of stay including stay at the lake all day, when the lake is open to the public, you can go to the area of the lake and exit times as you want, as well as usage of sauna, Jacuzzi, etc

The hotel is very close to the entrance to lake hévíz, just 2-3 mins slow walk. Ideal for those who want to relax and get treatment. Quiet, cozy place, surrounded by centuries-old plane trees

I would give it 5 stars of it was a 3-star hotel, but they claim to be 4-star. As a 3-star hotel, I have no complaints about them. They are very reasonable priced

The hotel is in a fantastic location. Literally 3 minutes from the lake. The staff is very professional and helpful. The rooms are clean and spacious. The meals are in a form of a buffet with a wide variety of choices

Amazingly relaxing water in tranquil surroundings. Value for money. Try to go early morning as you can stay there 6-7 hours

Excellent service from the personnel. Breakfast had a variety of offerings and hotel's location is really good: 15 minutes walking distance from the thermal lake and close to restaurants and shops

Best place to stay in Heviz! The owners are great (treat you like family) and the staff is as well. Close to everything you might want to do in town but on a quiet street.

Drawbacks employees speaks only in Hungarian and German and very little on English. I was there only one night so I cant tell you much more. Personal advice, do not take room number 13

Room is ok, has a kitchen tea kettle, kitchen aid. Bathroom was very clean, toilette too. Standard breakfast, but dont worry you wont be dissapointed. There is also basin in facility

Madame Szilvia is very helpful if you need an advise about the city. I put 4 stars, instead of 5 stars, because of the carpet, in the room

The best: -Very clean and quiet rooms. -Very fluffy bathrobes, and one spa towel and spa undertowel. -All thermal and treatment places are very close to each other and totally barrier-free

Everything is fine. No complaints. The medical base is up to standard. There are classes for interests, aqua aerobics

Had a very great time with my wife in this amazing facility. The breakfast, dinner is delicious with options. The staff are nice and helpful and I recommend you visit for your spa, wellness and relaxation.

Can be improved: -Zero bottled water in the room (c'mon, this is an intensive thermal treatment facility, and constant hydration is a MUST!), although there are two drinking water fountains in the basement/spa area, and one drinking water spigot inside the breakfast and dinner restaurant

-Helpful, patient and nice staff - all of them, from the receptionists to the first-aid paramedics to the housekeeping ladies. -Spacious rooms, very comfortable beds, table and chairs in the balcony are a plus

We enjoyed especially the goulash, the fish stews, the "bivaly" (oxen) slices, the beefsteak tartar, and the hot Hungarian desserts (the hot curd cheese pastry with berry sauce was wonderful, for instance!)

The service is good, the bed is comfortable and the food is very delicious

Perfect! The rooms are fine, breakfast and dinner are fine, the staff is amazing! Kind, in the background, helpful, absolut professional. Small issue: no bar in the wellness with alcohol.

A comfortable stay The location is great. It’s close to the lake and about a 20-minute walk from the bus station. It’s new, clean and well designed

The room is a bit old and simple, just like ordinary hot spring hotels in China, but clean, with complete facilities, and no slippers

I’d suggest to not to come here if you’d like to lose weight :) Also, (for us it’s important) you can charge your electric car with AC chargers (CSS 3phase, 11kW for sure - i could not test higher due to my cars limitation) without any extra fees! (They have plenty charging stations - both next to the entrance, and in the garage (floor -1))

Friendly staff, international cuisine (I wish I could have eaten more Hungarian traditional food), great spa with several pools with thermal water, sauna, sauna herbarium, steam sauna, infrared and salt treatments.

The restaurant where we had breakfast and dinner is simply amazing in its variety. and everything is amazingly delicious. The service in the restaurant is also extremely professional

Reception was unfriendly, but the rest of the staff were nice. Rooms are starting to get old, but they're comfortable. Wellness was amazing. Food was fair for the price.

It’s nice when your first meeting at a hotel is with the younger generation, fluent in a foreign language, elegantly dressed and combed

We flew across the ocean, arrived 2 hours earlier, but they gave us the keys right away, as if they were waiting for us. The room is very spacious, comfortable, and has everything you need to spend 10 days comfortably

Although the name suggests shopping, most of the stores in the hotel (and in the area in general) are already closed, so there isn’t really shopping available anymore

The spa area is excellent, spacious, with a Finnish sauna, steam room, two hot pools, and several relaxation areas. Overall, a very high standard

We stayed in a family room, which was very spacious and divided into two separate rooms. There were also two balconies, which was very convenient

However, if you arrive after 7:00 PM, check-in can be complicated since the reception closes, so it’s better to arrive earlier

Also, note that the hotel has no private parking , you need to use the paid parking lot next door

We stayed for one night, the room was on the second floor. We really liked it. The only thing is that the shower is only overhead, and there were no shower caps, which is uncomfortable for guests with long hair.

One night stay, simple room, but comfortable and very close to the lake which is the reason for our visit. Restaurant available on premises which was great for dinner. The town is sweet, I wish we stayed longer

Hotel situated in driving distance of Lake Balaton. We have used it for one night sleep while traveling there. Booked via Internet 10 minutes before arrival (past 22:00), room was ready as we arrived

The location of the hotel is that it is in a quiet place, but still close to the center, the bus station, and the spa can be reached with a 10-15 minute walk. I recommend this accommodation to everyone

I spent 3 wonderful days in Hévíz at the Sante Hotel. A small castle with a beautiful view. Fortunately, they were able to fulfill my wish at the beginning of January

The hotel is spotlessly clean, adjustable heating in the room, delicious, plentiful breakfast and very kind owners who do their work with all their heart in this gem

It thins the pair of furniture and the environment, it is very elegant, demanding and clean. I would like to recommend it to anyone with kindness, and only so on;)
