Great place to chill out for a few days, be in contact with nature. The staff was amazing, and breakfast was awesome !

The best. Clean, relaxed, the staff is lovely, treat you like family, the food is amazing. Each little corner of the property is unique and has its own little story. We go back every year, and every time we bring more people to this magical place.

Stayed here a while ago but I still thought I would write a review. I would highly recommend staying here. The rooms were clean, comfortable, the scenery is beautiful and quiet (in a good way) and the staff are very nice. I’m always cautious because of my dietary restrictions but they even made me a mini gluten free loaf every morning :) Overall it was a lovely stay.

Absolutely loved this place! highly recommended to stop by and spend some time. I worked from here remotely, and it was perfect for that as well. The staff is absolutely friendly and welcoming, the food is beyond expectations and the atmosphere is relaxing. Loved the different accommodation types and the community spaces as well.

Great place for the nature lover. Lovely hospitality by the staff, good food. Only downside is the water pressure in the bungalow, we were staying in one of the highest situated one and if you open the kitchen sink tap, it would shut it off everywhere else, including the two showers. Something to improve there. I would still return.

Reasonable prices, and friendly staff, but the walls are unfortunately so thin, we were woken up multiple times during the night, due to people talking, coughing, etc. The toilet is shared between multiple rooms.

I have some thing to say about the bathrooms, when they clean the floors they leave it so wet that anyone can slipped. My 3 yr old son already slipped. The water in the showers are so hot, in the middle of summer!

We had a wonderful night. We use the camping just for transit. Great service! I recommend a nice walk near the lake.

So amazing. The staff are friendly. The place is so clean and beautiful. And the people in the restaurant are so so friendly.

Perfectly lovely stay. Probably not as upmarket as the website makes out - a lot of the facilities feel like they haven’t been updated in 20 years or so. But all perfectly usable and clean, and staff were unbelievably friendly and helpful (and almost all spoke perfect English, and which was a pleasant surprise). Food options were good, with standard basics each evening but also more local specialties...

We love the location, Watching the sale boats go by was a very special treat! The room and accommodations were very nice and the staff was very helpful. The only complaint was that the air conditioner did not cool the room enough, so we had to open the door, and the light woke us up very early in the morning. I would suggest curtains which block the light so that the guests can sleep late.

Room Otherwise everything was OK. But the air conditioning in the room was so bad. The room was humid and warm. I heard that many rooms have the same problem.

Nice lokation just by the lake. Very big pool and a jacuzzi. Nice food and friendly service.

Really good place . Nice calm atmosphere in the port. But food after 2 yers went to really average :-( We had halfboard and breakfast and dinner were not really good. We understand that to have much variety is not efficient, but would be good to have at least good quality. There is big room for improvement. Put little bit more heart into it. We misssed sourdough rolls for example for breakfast...

Located close to the lake Balaton at Sió canal. Food and rooms I’d consider it as average. The indoor pool is good also the water temperature is ok. However the roof terrace of the pool is quite dirty.

We were at Pelso 2 days from 14th till 16th of June. Everything is good. Nice place, good accomondation, camper park in the shadows was exelent. But party/disco on Wednesday with very very loudly music till 1 a.m. it is terrible for families with small kids!!! 👎😱😭 It is not good from camper owner side! Here were a lot people with small kids and we cant sleep till 1:30 a.m.

We had a good time. For the management: the place needs some attention. Reinforcing steel bars hanging out by the beach. Kids running around, not safe. Restrooms and showers needed a little more help.

It is an OK campsite. The facilities are clean. The beach is OK, but there are stones under the water which may cause harm. The animation programme for the kids is a plus. The food store in and nearby the site is very expensive.

Nice but full. Friendly staff. Mobile house "premium", but there was nothing premium. You have to pay an extra charge for aircondition. Beach is clean. Good restaurants nearby. Only two beach bars, one is closing at 19... Anyway, good place for family holiday.

It is a fine camping, if you just want to have a place quickly to stay. However I did not like that even though it is not a cheap place the toilets and the showers are not very good. In the water the stones, plants and shells are taken out so it is not not a pleasant experience to walk into the water. I have mixed feelings about the place but it is located in a really good area.

The location was great. You can see the Hungarian parliament building and it’s great at night to watch from the deck. Margaret Island is also nearby as well as the Thermal baths. Room was bigger than I thought it would be but hard to have 2 suitcases open. The bathroom was very small and the shower curtain will stick on your body. Not suitable for a bigger person. There is a mini fridge in the room...

We spent a weekend at this hotel and really enjoyed the unique experience of sleeping on a boat. The view over the river, Margaret Bridge, and the Parliament building was beautiful. The room was on the smaller side, but comfortable and sufficient, and the bathroom was clean. Breakfast was excellent, with a good variety of continental options. Service was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Overall...

Amazing experience! Super location directly across the parliament building! Rich breakfast included! I think there is no hotel in all of Budapest which offers the same view. The boat itself is from the 1950s and used to do routes up and down the Danube river.

Something different. Room was small but very comfortable. Breakfast was the same every day but was nice , staff always on hand and ready to help. Great location with a beautiful view of the Parliament Building.

Gread view worth visiting the hotel. There are some disadvantages but stuff is great, breakfasts are good. Price is good and never forget how many stars the hotel has. I think it is a lovely place to stay overnight. YOU take a bottle of wine and just sit on the roof terrace. Just they could have a few chairs there, but terrace is stunning

The location is great with the view to the parliament building from the river was a luxury, just the sound of traffic from the side streets and over the bridge is challenging for sleep with open windows. The front desk was very helpful and nice. The room is good with direct views from the river, some tourists ferry boats make U turn before the bridge and it’s means in front of our room and bit funny...

Once you find it, the property is located right next to the lake. There is a good bar and restaurant which has been recently renovated. We like the room for our family and we would come again.

Very welcoming place. Secure with swipe card access on gate and room doors. 24h reception. Clean. Private beach. Excellent restaurant with good value for food and quick and polite service. Staff can speak English and Deutsch as well.

I got the hugest schnitzel I ever saw in the restaurant. It was good too. There is a direct access to the lake, although the beach itself is rather small. The hotel is located at a closed, private territory, which is good.

Really nice place to enjoy Lake Balaton, sail and do some sport. Very cozy hotel and superb restaurant. A must if you are planning to visit Hungary.

We had an amazing (though short) time at the Badacsony camping! Loved the private beach and the cleanliness, not so much the noise coming from the town (not the camping's fault). You can also rent SUP boards and other watersport items. The staff was very friendly

Quit, small camping,not too crowded, near the lake. Sauna in the camping,restaurant with breakfast,lunch and dinner. You can rent bicycle, sup and kayak here. 500 meters from Badacsony centre.

Very nice quite place! Camping is quite small and its big attitude of this place, you are avoiding all these crouds.... Toilets are clean, personel is very helpfull. Parcels for campers are quite big-only pitty that not all are shaded, and equiped with access to electricity. Kids will find small playground for them selves- could be little bit better equiped. Great very private camping - it's small but when you want to relax - it's just for you . It's near to huge moutanin badacsony . A short walk from camping you can go to the city of badacsony or to a cute vine testing places . Houses are clean and nice .

2021: Still amazing - best staff ever. Like coming home :) Do not miss the Restaurant at the entrance 🔥🔥🔥🔥 We came back at third times and it is was an amazing experience. Nice calm waterfront, clean bathroom, showers and kitchen. The security is excellent also with a nice guard during the night. 👌👌👌

Nice budget hotel. Not bad if you don't mind a rustic place to stay. The temperature outside was very cold for September and the room was very cold. The heaters didn't work. Rooms were small but everything we needed since we were out exploring all day. Shower had nice hot water (after we asked). Hair dryer provided at front desk. Breakfast included was a full selection and tea and coffee were available...

Just experience it. It will be very hot in the summer. The air conditioning cooling effect is too average. It has a private space of 1/2 stern. There are tables and chairs outside. The single bed cannot be separated, so I changed a hotel the next day. To be honest, the service is still good and the price is not expensive. If you like fishing, you can bring your own fishing rod.

The scenery is excellent, the environment is very feel, the location is very close to the main scenic area, the facilities are average but acceptable, the counter attendants are courteous and courteous, and willing to lend the kettle and microwave for guests to use.

It was good! Center, everything within walking distance) good breakfast in the morning, fresh pastries. I recommend for a couple of nights.

Very cute little house, with breakfast, very affordable price, just a little far from the city, things are a bit old, the river view is also pretty good, but there are no great buildings in that area, but overall I am still satisfied.

A typical large campsite with multiple serviceable restaurants, some lake frontage suitable for swimming, and decent facilities.

Having dragon boat training there. It's nice with great view to the lake.

Bigger camping in Hungary as far as I know. Prices are still modest compared to everything else in town. It is a city in a city with its own shop so you can enjoy your show time.

We re-visited this hotel again in August. The staff was nice and this time our room was in the main building. We enjoyed this room much better that staying in the new wing in June.

We stayed at Tihany Yacht Club two nights in June. The staff was nice, parking was easy. Our room was very clean, facing Lake Balaton. Breakfast was OK but be prepared if you to go after 9:30, there is hardly anything left...

The room was lovely, nice, big and clean. The food was good but a limited choice. Private secured parking, superb WiFi and an absolutely fantastic location with friendly and helpful staff. Wonderful by day, listening to the waves roll onto the rocks and atmospheric at night with the lighting around the area. Lovely big area for the dog too!

I really liked the location. Room was small but comfy, moderen and clean. Bed very good.

Great campsite, cute places and nice staff.

Really nice place for a holiday or even a day trip. The camping is right next to lake Sástó, where there is a path around the lake (suitable for buggies). There is loads of ducks, little islands in the lake to explore and a lookout tower in the woods. There is a restaruant and a café in the camping complex. There is no ATM machine around but most places take cards.

We spent holiday 23dec to 26dec 18. Nice resting, kind employers, but the roof made from metal so if you have upstairs room and its raining, you wont sleep. Doors are under upgrading to electronics, wich is a perfect feature, but at this time its not available on upstairs. The salt cave is usefull, you can have relax, and healthy. Near it you can find sightseeing tower, hungary's highest point can...

Such a nice place to stay. Very helpful stuff.

I've been visiting this place for 30 years now. Loving the atmosphere, taking excursions around the hills and like the services the Camping offers. Yet, one note: since the renewal of the camping, prices went too high for me, I preferred to travel there with backpacks, stay in a tent and pay less.

Nice hotel. Very good breakfast. But restaurant is quite expensive and not so interesting.

My wife and I are extremely pleased with the stay. Clean, tidy, culturally and kindly. We will definitely come back :)

It is a nice hotel, there are definitely a few pros and cons to consider. Breakfast is good but nothing too special. Dinner is always very good, i have never had anything that was not excellent! The rooms are simple but nice, the bathrooms could be a little bit cleaner. Sometimes the shower is not looking that great... All things considered it is still a nice place to stay.

Hotel is located in a beautiful are on Lake Balaton. Rooms have balcony and are decorated with modern furniture. Breakfast is good and service is fair to good. View from the room is amasing. Most people from the hotel speak german or english but everybody is polite and willing to help.

Great 1 night stop over on our Lake Balaton cycling trip. Our room was big but it was the disabled room so not sure if all rooms are this size. Lovely helpful staff and we had a great evening meal here. Peaceful night sleep and a superb buffet breakfast from 7.30, outdoor seating plentiful. Reasonable price. Would have got 6 stars if it had a table tennis table. 😀

Great campsite! We had a great time here. People at the reception were really helpful and it is a perfect place to stay if you’re visiting Budapest, it’s really easy to get around with public transport. We will come back one day.

Excellent campsite. Very safe, we were able to keep windows and doors of our van open at night for ventilation, no problem. Useful amenities; multiple clean sinks, a kettle, washing machine, microwave, freezer, all free of charge. Toilets and showers had outstanding cleanliness. Staff were lovely and friendly and went out of their way to suggest things to do in the city and transport routes. WiFi also...

One of the most pleasant camping experiences we’ve ever had. Very peaceful and quite. Close to the public transport that will take you to the city centre. No extra charge for hot shower or use of washing machines. And super friendly staff! Highly recommended place!

Extremely nice and relaxed camping, close to city center. Everything was clean and worked. It's easy to go to Budapest by metro and there is also nice trail running paths along the small river and fields. They are nice people and we got our mini-van for the same price than with can and tent which is great and it should be like that. Very good value for the money with electricity and washer included...

Nice campsite. Like it that they keep the shower spaces warm and clean. Good to know that you have to pay in cash. 1minus point is that we couldn’t do our laundry because of the dog hairs in the washing machine. They appreciated this feedback so we expect that they will keep an eye on it from now on. For the rest it’s a well maintained place and lovely people working there. We would definitely recommend...

Such a cozy, beautiful and clean place! We spent one night here with camper van on our way from Croatia to Hungary. We arrived a bit late, but the owners were super friendly. The parking area had a lot of shady spots. Shower with hot water. Electricity available. Quiet. Thank you so much for having us and 100% recommend this place!

Have travelled from England, through France, Italy and Slovenia to Budapest for the Sziget festival. Was fortunate enough to find this place on the way back. Absolutely the best campsite we've found yet. Outside cooking facilities complete with pot for goulash or stew, a wood fired oven for pizza or baking with a little kitchen area for washing up. Little ponies and other animals in a field next to...

Very nice, neat and clen rooms, with excellent service! Although there's not much English, we had no problem to communicate and understand. All this with great coffee in the morning and a huge smile :) And, literally 5 minutes of M7!

Excellent place. Had accident on bicycle which resulted with me being taken to hospital in ambulance. Owner left wedding reception to check I was okay and to take me home! ! Lovely site also with quaint details.
