The bad reviews here ale clearly from before the renovation. Spa is big and has large pool with warm water. Whirpools are spacious so you can almost always find your place there. Hungarians are kinda loud in saunas tho

The sauna world is great, there is an offer of sauna ceremonials, 1 open jacuzzi, 2 warm pools. We enjoyed our stay for 100% and hope to return again this time with kids

Nice front desk agents, good spa with a large swimming pool, infra and finnish sauna. Several complementary gym classes for Guests. Good for family trip and for 2 as well. Breakfast was the same every day, dinner was ok

I almost forgot amazing views of Balaton - from our room, from spa and restaurant. There are just some details I didn't like. waiters not being quick enough at dinner or the paid tea portions and no coffee at room

It was a great hotel. My father and I thought it was new, then found it in a old map we had from the 1970. Great amenities right on the Balaton and central to most everything

Good quality hotel located in an excellent location within the West End Shopping centre, and adjacent to the railway station. Easy walking distance to many of the top attractions plus inumerable bars and restaurants

Staff were very friendly and service was very professional. So glad I stayed here with my friends and was lovely coming back after a long day of sightseeing. Booked a relaxing massage which was also professional.

Very spacious rooms (I was upgraded to a suite) and a rooftop executive lounge with a decent selection of food and drinks (big plus for the outside terrace with views on Parliament)

A hotel in the VII district of Budapest. Is a good place, convenient to reach and near to airport and the center. The rooms are good but small and the stuff is friendly and helpful

Great location, 300m away from the Metro station. Stuff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is not the newest and cleanest one you’ll see but it’s not dirty either

The only flaw is the food served in dinner, discreet than other locals in the city, but the breakfast it's okay

The separate elevator entrance to the SPA is appreciated. The hotel is in a very good location with many places to eat in the area. All staff in the hotel are extremely polite and helpful

The room had an elegant interior design with classic elements, it was very spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable and I had a gorgeous view of the rest of the building from our window

To my surprise the beauty of the city was breathtaking and the hotel is 5 star in my book. Every guest treated like royalty. You must put this city on your bucket list to visit

The only 5 Star hotel in hévíz! Huge own territory in the Park! Three thermal pools with water of hévíz! Indoor and outdoor regular pools! Very good food - varied and delicious! Free Wi-Fi catches everywhere and with good speed! Huge free Parking! Very quiet because far away from Heviz! Away train ride around Hévíz! A good SPA! In short, all is well!

An excellent resort, very tasty breakfasts and dinners, there are various SPA treatments, there are pools with thermal water of different temperatures, as well as an outdoor swimming pool, there is a sauna, hammam, etc

The water of the outdoor pool is warm all year round, and it's connected to the inside pool so you can basically swim outside even when it's cold outside

There are pools of different temperatures inside, and being a thermal spa there is a slight sulphur smell inside. But that just adds to the charm

We spent a wonderful 24 hours at the Lotus Therme Hotel & Spa. From the friendly early checkin (I think we got there around noon) to the smartly attired professional staff we felt pampered and at home

It's probably better to get a Thai massage in town (where there are plenty to choose from) for half of the price. But despite these setbacks we really enjoyed our stay at the hotel, and will most likely be back again

The staff were helpful throughout our stay, our room spotless and well stocked. The hotel pool is just right for a dip when sitting up on the roof. You are provided with pool towels at the spa reception

Lots of hidden beds dotted about. It's not a place to be sunbathing by the pool which some fellow guests had believed. We used it 5-7pm when returning from the day before going out in the evening

Stayed for several days at Intercontinental prior to going on Viking River Cruise. The hotel is very nice and in a perfect location to see the sights of Budapest. Room was comfortable with all the basic amenities

This hotel is not new or modern, and wasn't renovated lately. However excellent maintenance keeps it in a very good form. we were three couples and enjoyed our stay very much

The hotel is situated in a lovely position if you want to walk, which we did regularly. The metro is close and easy to navigate thanks to leaflets from the hotel

The rooms are big and amenities are of good quality. The breakfast has many options for all taste and a really good Lebanese corner with fresh pita bread

The girl on the front desk (sadly we didn’t get her name) was friendly yet really professional. The breakfast was absolutely amazing, the best we’ve had in Budapest (and we’ve ate at a good 8+ places at this point)

This has ended our use of Airbnb after staying here. They have a luggage drop so you can still explore the city on your day off departure, amazing! Amazing stay and topped off our trip

The best nights sleep we’ve had in two weeks, the bed was comfy, air con was nice and cool. If we return to Budapest we’ll be staying here & i’d recommend it to anyone that comes here

We booked an Airbnb and it was disgustingly dirty, left shortly after and found this, we booked this room at the front desk and it was spotless

In the basement they had bowling area. Gym, swimming pool, salt room, sauna room. but unfortunately the broken wall repaired with duct tape. And the other room, the door handle was fall down if you close the door

I was with my family for a few days around Christmas, so the hotel was full, and this did not bother us at all because we had peace (very good sound proof), enough space and very good food at breakfast, and every day we found a parking place

I stayed here for 5 days to attend a conference this November, the facilities, staff and experience were great. There was a few issues with elevators and room keys, but I can't fault the service at all

All fine, only point of critisism: The wines at the all you can drink were undrinkable and tasted bad. I wanted to enjoy some nice wine, but couldn't finish a glass :/

Most of the pools have extra streams of water to massage the individual, these are really fun an enjoyable. The pools are surrounded by beds and even double beds which you do have to pay for and reserve though

This place is definitely the best wellness hotel ive ever been to. The spa section has an unbelievably beautiful and calming atmosphere. All the walls, pools, plants and lights are tidy and kept clean

Everywhere you look whether that be the bathrooms or the ceilings is pretty. The pools are all nice, there is probably around ten. Some outside some inside and some even thermal

All in all the spa is fantastic, truly state of the art, i definitely recommend going down at night though from 8-10 pm because thats when the place is the most atmospheric and empty, youll find saunas and pools all for yourselves

There are about 8 saunas, a cold plunge, a cold room and even a relaxation room. The saunas are all great and there are plenty. One most go without swimwear though, only towels are allowed

There is also a large swimming pool for those who want to exercise in the water. In the spa section one can also find the sauna world which is a fantastic experience by itself

We were also given three towels and bathrobes (included in the price). The pools were not crowded, in fact the whole spa was good for 30 people in all

I have been only in the lobby and the bar. Friendly and polite international staff, clean and cosy place. If you need they have a private parking lot for a fair price (approximately 1 euro/hour).

The hotel staff will treat you with respect and a smile. It had a very good pool and jacuzzi. Our room was very nice and quiet. But the bathroom was not very clean. We paid 180 euros for a double night

The service and food at the River Bar was excellent! Daniel and his team are doing a great job taking care of their guests. It all feels very warm and welcoming. I got one of the best Gulasch I had ever had. Thank you!

The rooms are spacious, the staff are friendly and tries to help you. Different activities for children, playground and toys The SPA is big enough with several pools and different kind of saunas

It’s so close to the castle and overlooks the river! We received a warm welcome from Leonard at the front desk- sometimes Hungarian customer service isn’t super warm even when the service is excellent

Wonderful hotel, very gracious staff at the front desk, restaurant, breakfast buffet, and cleaning staff. Rooms are very well appointed, spacious, comfortable, and easy to plug in and charge devices

Breakfast was amazing every morning, often fueling us all the way to dinner each day! It was unfortunate that the "closing" time of the restaurant is listed as 11pm, but the kitchen stops cooking at 1030pm, and we were denied a table at 1020pm when all we wanted was dessert

The views from the restaurant look out over Fisherman's Bastion, and it's just like a fairy tale. Would definitely stay here again, and enjoyed the location relative to the popular tourist sights!

Delicious and hearty Hungarian food. Close to lake Heviz and to the gutter with water. And the town is small, quiet, cozy. Rooms it is better to choose on higher floors with views to the East - the view is gorgeous

I would choose this hotel again next time

There was a quality fulfillment of medical procedures; an amiable attitude of the medical staff helps healing and impoves mood. On the other side there was a negative point: language obstacle

A lot of senior people do not command Hungarian or German, mostly they know Russian. We would like to be sure to have a someone who speaks Russian next time we order a rest in Heviz

We had a great experience staying here! The room and the view were beautiful and we loved the saunas and the pool! The location was amazing as it was very close to the lake and you even have access to a private area by the lake that’s part of the hotel

On the minus side: - food in buffet is varied and attention is given to restricted diets but whatever runs out isn't always refilled, so go early - elevators are sloooooow :D - skyrose bar has great view but slow service, so be prepared to wait On the plus side: - good sauna variety (but not always at the indicated temperature) - interior pools (nothing special but handy when the weather's bad) -...

Considering the reception staff are the face of the hotel, they were not that friendly, welcoming or professional. One young dark haired woman in particular. The service/staff in the sky rose bar require more training

Nice hotel in a great town, but we have a few remarks after staying there for several nights: 1. TVs are a bit outdated, they lack smart TV, so you can't broadcast YouTube on them from your devices

Everything was simply perfect : The best location. The room was very big and perfectly planned for maximum functionality. The bed was so good that I slept very well. The staff was absolutely the best that I ever met

So this hotel is very very good so I have the impression that the bad reviews are not so correct. Indeed, in the neighborhood there is some works but it is not under hotel control to speed up or to stop the process

Food was amazing, with taste and also traditional Hungarian but at the same time international. Good Indian food (they have a special chef for this). Included the breakfast is very very good
