We had a couples massage and spent several hours in the spa afterwards. The staff were incredibly friendly and professional from start to finish. The 90-minute couples massage was absolutely wonderful and deeply relaxing. The spa facilities are beautiful, with a jacuzzi, several saunas and a swimming pool. A calm and peaceful atmosphere that truly feels luxurious. Highly recommended.

Great historical building with very high ceilings in the foyers. Great breakfast buffet. Showers can go hot and cold but tolerable. Location is walkable to Hungarian state opera, high street shopping and good restaurants.

Good hotel in a nice spot - liked how I could walk to many parts of town or take public transit. The spa area is nice but at times not enough beds. Breakfast is superb with so much variety. Rooms were comfy and quiet.

The hotel is a bit out from city centre but very peaceful location in a large park surrounded by river Danube. the 26 bus goes by hotel every 15/20minutes right to city centre. For me the location, Budapest-Keleti railway station was 5 minutes walk away. The room was a decent size with amenities and great/comfortable bed!! And two pillows.

Our room was spacious, the bathroom was clean and tidy, and there was a small balcony where the evening breeze felt very pleasant. There was a fan on the desk, which made it convenient for working. The hotel is very close to both the train and metro stations, so if you need to catch an early train, I would recommend staying here.

Not the first time in this hotel. Food, SPA, territory, cleanliness in the room - everything was at the highest level. The staff takes great care of the guests, which, unfortunately, cannot be said about the vacationers themselves.

Very good. We have been there many times. Thermal pools are new and very nice. The rooms are newly decorated and beautiful. Food and drinks are at a solid level. Overall however, I would not be confident recommending this stay to family and friends looking for a 4 star hotel or above. This is a 3 star hotel with some added bonuses like the spa. This hotel is absolutely beautiful! The staff were really friendly and everything is within walking distance of the hotel. The saunas and pool are easily accessible. Unfortunately the outdoor pool had closed during our stay. The only issue we had was that we had 2 single beds pushed together with 2 single quilts and would have preferred an actual double bed. Lovely hotel not far from the great synagogue in Budapest. Full services, great breakfasts. Their restaurant, Araz, was exceptionally good. No reviews since 2018 . . . let's update things in November 2023. The entire hotel has been beautifully renovated and is worthy of a four star rating. The design and architecture are really super and they are currently building a new thermal water spa. All new furniture and great design everywhere. Good parking. HOWEVER . . . . whether Covid has hit them, or maybe they just can't get the right staff...

It's a big, busy (in August), probably late socialist-era resort hotel that's actually quite pleasant. And cheap. There's a holiday vibe. For an overnight stay it's excellent and I wouldn't have minded staying longer. I didn't try any of the many "health"/beauty treatments on offer but they're inexpensive. (The lifts/elevators are few and slow.)
