The bad reviews here ale clearly from before the renovation. Hotel is new and beautiful. Spa is big and has large pool with warm water. Whirpools are spacious so you can almost always find your place there. Hungarians are kinda loud in saunas tho. Food is tasty and the selection is big enough. Rooms aren't huge but will do and everything is clean. Staff was nice and mostly spoke english. I almost forgot...

Věry nice new renovated hotel, the staff is doong their best, maybe only bit slow in restaurant - during dinner we had to wait to get wine list. The sauna world is great, there is an offer of sauna ceremonials, 1 open jacuzzi, 2 warm pools. We enjoyed our stay for 100% and hope to return again this time with kids

The hotel rooms are really small, for 4 nights with a baby it was very dificult to survive, specially keeping a stroller in our room as well. I’m no celebrity, but I have traveled all my life and I consider this as one of the best hotel restaurants and breakfasts Ive experienced. Very nice room and good service. High value for money. The breakfast is also nice. But.. the hotel is facing to a very busy road. I couldn't sleep until i put an ear plugs. There are many things that the hotel needs to upgrade on. Specially the repair of rooms to bring up to modern standards. There was issues with the beds in the room that we stayed since the beds were very easy to be pushed around. And also there was dirt not cleaned since sometime below the beds.

All the elevators were broken except one. They even blocked off the stairs as well. This is an extreme fire hazard. They locked the staff stairs and did not let anyone use the stairs. Great location, 300m away from the Metro station. Stuff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is not the newest and cleanest one you’ll see but it’s not dirty either. This hotel is ok for a weekend stay. Rooms are clean (some of them are renovated, some are not), breakfast is ok. Staff is very helpful. The staff was extremely professional and polite, the room was clean and had everything that we needed. They also left us a bottle of water, a few bags of Coffee and sugar as well as different Teabags. They also let us leave our luggage after the check-out free of charge.

Super friendly staff at reception and everywhere. Always open to help. Breakfast is delicious, freshly cooked and plenty. Dinner was marvellous and I can only recommend to enjoy the great taste. We had a great time here a couple of weeks ago. Nice breakfast, great cocktails and close to a lot nice restaurants. The spa is stunning and well cleaned, the hot tub is a beast though. Great for soothing tired leg muscles after a days sightseeing. The only downside way on the soft side so struggled to sleep well, but other than that it was great.

The place was made for kids, or those who still feel like once. Planty of water slides, indoor pools and jacuzzi. Outdoor warmed pools, playgrounds, food courts and more. The kids wanted to stay more. Easy to arrive from the center of Budapest by public transportation.

I'm rating the hotel only. Nice rooms, large breakfast buffet. A/C in the rooms could be more powerful in summer months. No satisfactory solution for charging electric cars (standard electric plug to be used, providing only about 1.6 kW).

The facilities where very good. The dinner was not good and not worth the price. The bath was not very clean and the air condition was very noisy and not very cold. The cashier in the pool Restaurant fast food were not nice and they talked about us in Hungarian. The guy in checkout reception was very nice. And asked how do we feel.

The park itself was very nice for kids (event the pool restaurant surprised us) but we do not recommend staying at the hotel. It looks like they don't like strangers, and even when I complained to the hotel management (both through reception and through a direct email) about the bartender who just wouldn't talk to me in English, he didn't even respond.

When i travel to Budapest my default place to stay is the Hilton Budapest City hotel. It is conveniently located, being a 20 minute walk to the Danube River with another 10 minute walk to Buda Castle. The rooms are always clean and are large and comfortable. Breakfast is great and the dinner selections are tasty. It is also located next to a mall.

It is an ok hotel to spend one night, but not more. It is far from the city center and you need a car to get there (or use the public transportation). It is definitely not a 4 star hotel and everything is a bit outdated. The rating of 8 from Booking is a fair one..

It was a pleasant stay for us as a couple. Nice staff, great wellness, great food and drinks. The rooms could do with a bit of renovation as some of the facilities did not look or work well. Takes some time to get to the city center, public transport does the work.

This review is way overdue. We stayed here for two nights during the 120th Anniversary celebration of Harley Davidson Motorcycles. The staff was very professional and courteous. The room was great. This hotel is absolutely beautiful! The staff were really friendly and everything is within walking distance of the hotel. The saunas and pool are easily accessible. Unfortunately the outdoor pool had closed during our stay. The only issue we had was that we had 2 single beds pushed together with 2 single quilts and would have preferred an actual double bed. Unfortunately the room did not live up to its description on the hotel’s website. We booked directly with the hotel last August, the executive room description states that they have either a city or courtyard view. I had a great stay here! The room upgrade was a nice surprise, with a fantastic view and beautiful decor. The hotel’s vibe is really unique. All of the staff were very friendly and attentive. A big thanks to Kristina at the bar for the great service and being so friendly. Highly recommend!

Who designed showers here? There is only half a shower door... whenever one takes a shower the water sprays out into the rest of the bathroom and literary creates a mini pool. I have noticed many hotels like this. I am wondering if there is something wrong with the way I take showers.

The interior is modern, artistic and the rooms are bigger than you expect at Ibis. The breakfast spread is good, and the parking was a breeze. The Check-in and check-out was quick and easy. The restaurant staff was nice, they helped my wife find all the vegetarian options at the breakfast buffet. Overall recommended.

Absolutely incredible hotel. We stayed for a little over a week, and let me tell you that this place was THE BEST! The staff are super friendly and very accommodating, the breakfasts were delicious and very fresh with plenty of croissants, coffee, porridge, yogurt, and more. The rooms are insanely quiet. I have no idea how they did it, but I don't hear doors shutting, people talking, or cleaning crews...

I stayed in this hotel for 4 nights this week. The small things make the difference between a 4- and 5-stars hotel. And all these things are made by people. Very good services, very nice rooms, nice pillows (you can choose) and bed, temperature in the room very good, every 2 days the linen are changed (very good quality). Food was amazing, with taste and also traditional Hungarian but at the same time...

This hotel is top notch! It's incredibly beautiful inside and out. Our room was spacious and gorgeous. Bathroom was also well appointed and included everything one could forget (for me it was a nail file). The staff was very friendly. The breakfast was impressive. Location, location, location - this hotel was in a prime spot. Highly recommend !

Exceptional hotel! We stayed here, Marriott and Intercontinental but Kempinski set the bar very high! It’s elegant and so welcoming you get the feeling the team love their jobs which is an attribute to the management! The room was clean and sleek and spacious! We were once recommended this hotel at the Kempinski Hotel Budapest and they did not disappoint me. I can only recommend because the services here are at the same or even higher level than where they recommended them. Just replace the soft mattresses with harder ones and you are the number 1 hotel in Hungary for me.

Stayed for 5 nights after 1600 km drive from England. This was the perfect rest before embarking on our Hungarian holiday. Real 5 star luxury and a top quality hotel. So far, the best in Europe that I've stayed in! There's been many. We will definitely be back. Thanks to all the staff at Spirit Hotel.

Lovely hotel, the amenities are fantastic. We got a room with double beds.. we just found the individual beds narrow and small and did not match the luxurious feel of the room. .Otherwise we were very happy with everything and will return.

I would like to ask the hotel staff if the owner of the gold jewelry powder box that I found in the thermal pool area and handed over to the reception on the evening of May 7, 2024 has been found. As a frequent guest, I must say that this hotel is declining. The room designs have been changed, and to be honest, I don’t like the new version. Moreover, the quality of dinner at this hotel has declined. Every time we visit, it seems to be getting worse. It’s disappointing because, after spending hours beside the pool, guests expect to have a fantastic dinner at a 5-star hotel, but end up disappointed...

I visited this hotel for the first time and I was delighted. Its main characteristic is gallantry and charm. At every step, you can feel respect and willingness to create pleasant moments for your visitors..... disciplined and pleasant staff.... the food in the restaurant was served elegantly, professionally and with charm....everything in the hotel worked to a high standard and professionally. Amazing...
