The bad reviews here ale clearly from before the renovation. Hotel is new and beautiful. Spa is big and has large pool with warm water. Whirpools are spacious so you can almost always find your place there. Hungarians are kinda loud in saunas tho. Food is tasty and the selection is big enough. Rooms aren't huge but will do and everything is clean. Staff was nice and mostly spoke english. I almost forgot...
Věry nice new renovated hotel, the staff is doong their best, maybe only bit slow in restaurant - during dinner we had to wait to get wine list. The sauna world is great, there is an offer of sauna ceremonials, 1 open jacuzzi, 2 warm pools. We enjoyed our stay for 100% and hope to return again this time with kids
It was a great hotel. My father and I thought it was new, then found it in a old map we had from the 1970. Great amenities right on the Balaton and central to most everything
Soviet heritage, desperately needs renovation. Great terrace, but bizarre working hours of the restaurant. Sad lifeless employees. No.
Nice front desk agents, good spa with a large swimming pool, infra and finnish sauna. Several complementary gym classes for Guests. Good for family trip and for 2 as well. Breakfast was the same every day, dinner was ok. Poor vegetarian options

Staff were very friendly and service was very professional. So glad I stayed here with my friends and was lovely coming back after a long day of sightseeing. Booked a relaxing massage which was also professional.
Excellent service, professional front desk staff. Good location, connected to westend shopping mall. The executive lounge is the best of all the Hiltons. Keep it up!
When i travel to Budapest my default place to stay is the Hilton Budapest City hotel. It is conveniently located, being a 20 minute walk to the Danube River with another 10 minute walk to Buda Castle. The rooms are always clean and are large and comfortable. Breakfast is great and the dinner selections are tasty. It is also located next to a mall.
I stayed in this hotel several times over the last years and I love it. The staff is amazing, the rooms are big in size and clean and well arranged. The breakfast is served in a nice area and the park on the rooftop of the shopping center has its own charm. The executive lounge offers good food at the happy hour. The hotel is linked to the shopping center and there you have a big food court in the...
First day.In Budapest not for the first time.Often at the Kempinski. This time chose the Hilton Budapest City.A very good hotel.Staff ,cleanliness.Tomorrow we'll see...
The best breakfast with a fresh orange juice which is served directly by the waiters. You can find here a hungarian traditional food corner with lot of tasty hungarian dishes. I like it a lot.

Very nice room and good service. High value for money. The breakfast is also nice. But.. the hotel is facing to a very busy road. I couldn't sleep until i put an ear plugs. Also, you can actually smell the air pollution from out side. I highly recommend for the hotel to swich the windows to sound proof without the option to open them.
Okay location, okay breakfast, kinda okay rooms and okay service. Nothing that’ll blow your mind away but nothing terrible either. Just a very old ordinary hotel that’s crying for renovation.
There are many things that the hotel needs to upgrade on. Specially the repair of rooms to bring up to modern standards. There was issues with the beds in the room that we stayed since the beds were very easy to be pushed around. And also there was dirt not cleaned since sometime below the beds.
All the elevators were broken except one. They even blocked off the stairs as well. This is an extreme fire hazard. They locked the staff stairs and did not let anyone use the stairs. The showers were good, IF they didn't leaks and flood the entire restroom. This happened in all the rooms that my family and friends were in. The breakfast was good, but they refilled everything extremely slowly. The...
Great stuff. Wonderful rooms and breakfast was the best. The hotel is close to new york cafe and the metro station is just in front of the hotel.
Great location, 300m away from the Metro station. Stuff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is not the newest and cleanest one you’ll see but it’s not dirty either. Carpets could use a deep cleaning here and there but overall it’s fine. It’s also kinda loud outside at night and the AC was not working in our room, so we had to sleep with the window open. The breakfast choice could’ve been better

My first time in Budapest. Wasn’t sure what to expect. To my surprise the beauty of the city was breathtaking and the hotel is 5 star in my book. Every guest treated like royalty. You must put this city on your bucket list to visit. Be sure to book this wonderful hotel for your stay!
The entrance to the building and hallway is grand and welcoming. The SPA pool area is excellent and very relaxing. The rooms are nice clean, quiet and most importantly the beds are comfortable. The separate elevator entrance to the SPA is appreciated. The hotel is in a very good location with many places to eat in the area. All staff in the hotel are extremely polite and helpful. Overall it was...
A lovely 5 star, beautifully decorated. The room i had was large and comfortable. The service everywhere was efficient with a friendly smile. Very good selection for breakfast which can be taken either in the restaurant or the atrium. Located in easy walking distance of many main attractions. Tram stop right in front of the hotel. All things considered it was an excellent stay.
An old fashioned beautiful hotel. Our executive suit was beautifully decorated and had access to executive lounge which is a useful amenity. Hotel is well maintained. Breakfast buffet was extensive but most of the food was of average quality. Location is not particularly central and the street on which the hotel is located was a bit grungy. No views from any of the hotel rooms.
Our recent stay at Corinthia Budapest was wonderful! The service is 10/10 and so is the attention to detail. The staff were friendly and warm, great breakfast buffet, and beautiful THE ROYAL SPA was very relaxing, spending the evening there after a long day of walking in the city, nothing was rushed and a very well chilled out atmosphere. The guest relation staff, Luca, is topnotch. If she sees and...
We had a great time here a couple of weeks ago. Nice breakfast, great cocktails and close to a lot nice restaurants. The spa is stunning and well cleaned, the hot tub is a beast though. Great for soothing tired leg muscles after a days sightseeing. The only downside way on the soft side so struggled to sleep well, but other than that it was great.

A fantastic hotel, great location if you don't mind walk for approx 3-3.50 km to get to the turist spots and restaurants. It is a very quite hotel with its own thermal bath situated in the ground floor. The breakfast was excellent. Can recommend this hotel.
Exceptional views. ,a very high standard hotel. Very helpful staff, brilliant facilities. The Room is elegant and very comfortable... Breakfast is also great: a lot to choose from and all very fresh...The thermal i also.s a highlight. I highly recommend
Very spacious hotel and rooms. Excellent spa facilities, selection of pools vary in temperatures. Excellent breakfast, huge choice of everything. Definitely would return
Luxury feel, spacious rooms, convenient yet private-ish location... we had a great experience overall. The hotel is well connected by a bus service that runs quite frequently, 2 bus stops are within 7min walking distance. We loved the spa and wellness area as well- atleast 4 bit hot tubs with different temperatures, a swimming pool with 4 lanes, different saunas. The outside pool was quite small...
Great and relaxing stay, very close to the centre yet in the green and calm Margaret Islabd with nice walks around the Danube. Room was comfortable and quiet with all necessities, and the spa and pools area very nice indeed. Especially the hot waters I found to be very beneficial, feeling the effects immediately. Very good stay.
The hotel is a bit out from city centre but very peaceful location in a large park surrounded by river Danube. the 26 bus goes by hotel every 15/20minutes right to city centre. Bus fare is very cheap less than £1 per journey download bus app and buy tickets jus scan your phone on bus on every journey

An excellent resort, very tasty breakfasts and dinners, there are various SPA treatments, there are pools with thermal water of different temperatures, as well as an outdoor swimming pool, there is a sauna, hammam, etc. Beautiful territory, 7 min walk from Lake Heviz. I am coming here for the seventh time and I will come again.
Our favorite place in Hévíz, and even in the whole Balaton area. This was our second time in the hotel and we loved it. The spa area is great. It was late September but we had the fortune of getting some sunshine so we enjoyed some time in the outside pool area. The water of the outdoor pool is warm all year round, and it's connected to the inside pool so you can basically swim outside even when it...
We spent a wonderful 24 hours at the Lotus Therme Hotel & Spa. From the friendly early checkin (I think we got there around noon) to the smartly attired professional staff we felt pampered and at home. The grounds are secluded, wooded, and restful and the pools were sparkling clean. Lots of pools to choose from, with the hottest being the sulphur indoor pool at, I believe, 38 degrees celcius...
Really nice resort, all rooms have balconies. Very quiet (surrounded by forest). Plenty of spa treatments, massages, saunas, medical treatments and very reasonable pricing. Nice pool and thermal pool (thermal water from the lake in Heviz). Small fitness center (which is barely utilized, what a shame). All staff is great, extremely friendly and helpful. Most speak German (and Hungarian, of course),...
A great hotel, I can highly recommend! Has also a spa with sauna, so you don't even need to travel from your room.
Very nice resort that I would definitely go back to. Great service and nice amenities. Food buffet was very nicely done. Very impressed especially for the low cost.

Good and very new hotel with reasonable price. Location is superb, the metro is just few steps from hotel. The breakfast has variety of menu. However, the service at room was poor. By the way overall is really good.
Nice hotel . Great location close to train station just 2 minutes to go there. Room very clean. Restaurant good for breakfast. Amazing staff reception and very friendly thanks a lot Petra for helping me about my reservation🙏❤️ . Really Im looking to visit this hotel again soon.
The hotel is located in a very good spot - close to the train and metro station. There is an underground parking lot which is 15euros per 24h. Rooms are spacious. Decent hotel approximately 2km from the tourist area (castle and river). Large parking space just in front of the hotel. We were once recommended this hotel at the Kempinski Hotel Budapest and they did not disappoint me. I can only recommend because the services here are at the same or even higher level than where they recommended them. Just replace the soft mattresses with harder ones and you are the number 1 hotel in Hungary for me.
Stayed for 5 nights after 1600 km drive from England. This was the perfect rest before embarking on our Hungarian holiday. Real 5 star luxury and a top quality hotel. So far, the best in Europe that I've stayed in! There's been many. We will definitely be back. Thanks to all the staff at Spirit Hotel.
Lovely hotel, the amenities are fantastic. We got a room with double beds.. we just found the individual beds narrow and small and did not match the luxurious feel of the room. .Otherwise we were very happy with everything and will return.
I would like to ask the hotel staff if the owner of the gold jewelry powder box that I found in the thermal pool area and handed over to the reception on the evening of May 7, 2024 has been found. It is an ok hotel to spend one night, but not more. It is far from the city center and you need a car to get there (or use the public transportation). It is definitely not a 4 star hotel and everything is a bit outdated. The rating of 8 from Booking is a fair one..
It was a pleasant stay for us as a couple. Nice staff, great wellness, great food and drinks. The rooms could do with a bit of renovation as some of the facilities did not look or work well. Takes some time to get to the city center, public transport does the work.
Overall, it is a good hotel. The hotel staff will treat you with respect and a smile. He had a very good breakfast. We had fun. It had a very good pool and jacuzzi. Our room was very nice and quiet. But the bathroom was not very clean. We paid 180 euros for a double night.
The service and food at the River Bar was excellent! Daniel and his team are doing a great job taking care of their guests. It all feels very warm and welcoming. I got one of the best Gulasch I had ever had. Thank you!

The location is perfect, and the panorama is stunningly beautiful. Everything is close by walking distance. The Danube river is beautiful from the view. Not sure how they got a 4 star rating; rather 3 star in my opinion. It's all about the thermal water, which they've done nicely. Dinner is buffet style, with very limited choice. Solid 4 star hotel. Hotel is nice and clean. Rooms are big enough. The hotel could use some upgrades though. Food was good quality and varied enough. The pool area was ok, with pools for swimming and enjoying hot thermal water. There was also a hot-tub and some saunas. There are also pools outside. Overall the hotel earns it 4 stars. Recommended for people looking for some piece and quiet.

This is a lovely hotel and very well situated. The breakfast choices were extensive. The area is extremely busy during the day (tourists) but was surprisingly quiet in the evening. There are some wonderful restaurants and shops within walking distance and the streets are very quaint to meander through. If you're looking for nightlife, I recommend you stay on the Pest side. If you prefer a quiet dinner...
What a beautiful property. The views were amazing across the river. Great location for walking around and full of history. We had a late night snack in the restaurant that was delicious! Friendly staff and beautiful rooms. Would definitely visit again!
Wonderful hotel, very gracious staff at the front desk, restaurant, breakfast buffet, and cleaning staff. Rooms are very well appointed, spacious, comfortable, and easy to plug in and charge devices. Breakfast was amazing every morning, often fueling us all the way to dinner each day! It was unfortunate that the "closing" time of the restaurant is listed as 11pm, but the kitchen stops cooking at 1...
Hilton is in the best location in Budapest! The hotel is magnificent. Excellent staff. The restaurant however could improve- The dishes were very well prepared and the presentation was great, however for vegetarians it wasn't enough, to say the least. The main dish I ordered was barely a main dish- just lettuce, roasted goat cheese, and pepper puree- that's it! Spiced rice or something could be added...
Spent 3 nights here. The hotel is just stunning. The location is amazing with easy access to transit and taxi always available. It’s so close to the castle and overlooks the river! We received a warm welcome from Leonard at the front desk- sometimes Hungarian customer service isn’t super warm even when the service is excellent. He really made our day, taking extra time to explain the hotel and some...
Very clean and great location, large rooms with nice touches very user friendly and stylish, tea and coffee in room plus WiFi and power outlets of various types, bathroom stocked with good quality products, modern designs and well laid out, lifts were very efficient and were easily accessed. Location was ideal with a fabulous Sky bar and restaurant overlooking the Fisherman’s bastion and the river...

Had a very great time with my wife in this amazing facility. The breakfast, dinner is delicious with options. The staff are nice and helpful and I recommend you visit for your spa, wellness and relaxation.
We stayed in the room 504 from 17.07.24 to 01.08.24. General impressions were positive. The atmosphere was calm, the room was cosy, and there was an agreeable view from the window. We were satisfied with the schedule of water pools, saunas and medical procedures. We would like to express an especial gratitude to Margit, Tamas, Andrea and to the mud pack staff. There was a quality fulfillment of medical...
Hotel looks older, but our stay was really nice. All employees were absolutelly fantastic, food was really good (we had full board). Hotel is on the hill, not far away from bus station. Rooms were clean, housekeeping ladies were nice, if you need something, you will get it. For pools they provide bathrobes (even kids bathrobes), you need your clothes only for restaurant and city tours. Pools were warm...
The hotel is a little retro in appearance, but the rooms are large, with balconies and air conditioning. The double bed consisted of two separate mattresses + there wasn't a single bottle of mineral water in the fridge, which we didn't like. We were happy with the cleanliness and the staff. We liked the bathroom and that a robe was provided. The desserts at dinner were very delicious. The drink prices...
We were there as a family with young children so it’s not really appropriate. All people was watching us with hate even kids were just swimming, not being loud. It never happened similar to us. But the staff was super nice.
Thank you very much, we feel really relaxed and wish to stay longer. Appreciate your hospitality, food was delicious, very kind and professional hotel crew. We look forward to visit this amazing place again. Best wishes from Radka&Peter

I would anyday strongly recommend mercure castle ! I had an unforgettable October 2024 stay at the Mercure Budapest Castle Hill Hotel, which is perfectly centrally located in the heart of beautiful Budapest. This hotel offers breathtaking views of the historic castle area and is surrounded by charming eateries and boutique shops, making it ideal for exploring the best of the city. The staff went...
I had a great stay here! The room upgrade was a nice surprise, with a fantastic view and beautiful decor. The hotel’s vibe is really unique. All of the staff were very friendly and attentive. A big thanks to Kristina at the bar for the great service and being so friendly. Highly recommend!
Who designed showers here? There is only half a shower door... whenever one takes a shower the water sprays out into the rest of the bathroom and literary creates a mini pool. I have noticed many hotels like this. I am wondering if there is something wrong with the way I take showers.
The interior is modern, artistic and the rooms are bigger than you expect at Ibis. The breakfast spread is good, and the parking was a breeze. The Check-in and check-out was quick and easy. The restaurant staff was nice, they helped my wife find all the vegetarian options at the breakfast buffet. Overall recommended.
Absolutely incredible hotel. We stayed for a little over a week, and let me tell you that this place was THE BEST! The staff are super friendly and very accommodating, the breakfasts were delicious and very fresh with plenty of croissants, coffee, porridge, yogurt, and more. The rooms are insanely quiet. I have no idea how they did it, but I don't hear doors shutting, people talking, or cleaning crews...
Very good hotel. Well maintained rooms, though a little too small. Perfectly located, themed ambience, lovely food.
