The bad reviews here ale clearly from before the renovation. Hotel is new and beautiful. Spa is big and has large pool with warm water. Whirpools are spacious so you can almost always find your place there. Hungarians are kinda loud in saunas tho. Food is tasty and the selection is big enough. Rooms aren't huge but will do and everything is clean. Staff was nice and mostly spoke english. I almost forgot...

When i travel to Budapest my default place to stay is the Hilton Budapest City hotel. It is conveniently located, being a 20 minute walk to the Danube River with another 10 minute walk to Buda Castle. The rooms are always clean and are large and comfortable. Breakfast is great and the dinner selections are tasty. It is also located next to a mall.

The best breakfast with a fresh orange juice which is served directly by the waiters. You can find here a hungarian traditional food corner with lot of tasty hungarian dishes. I like it a lot.

Very nice room and good service. High value for money. The breakfast is also nice. But.. the hotel is facing to a very busy road. I couldn't sleep until i put an ear plugs. Also, you can actually smell the air pollution from out side. I highly recommend for the hotel to swich the windows to sound proof without the option to open them.

There are many things that the hotel needs to upgrade on. Specially the repair of rooms to bring up to modern standards. There was issues with the beds in the room that we stayed since the beds were very easy to be pushed around. And also there was dirt not cleaned since sometime below the beds.

We had a great time here a couple of weeks ago. Nice breakfast, great cocktails and close to a lot nice restaurants. The spa is stunning and well cleaned, the hot tub is a beast though. Great for soothing tired leg muscles after a days sightseeing. The only downside way on the soft side so struggled to sleep well, but other than that it was great.

The hotel is a bit out from city centre but very peaceful location in a large park surrounded by river Danube. the 26 bus goes by hotel every 15/20minutes right to city centre. We were once recommended this hotel at the Kempinski Hotel Budapest and they did not disappoint me. I can only recommend because the services here are at the same or even higher level than where they recommended them. Just replace the soft mattresses with harder ones and you are the number 1 hotel in Hungary for me.

Not sure how they got a 4 star rating; rather 3 star in my opinion. It's all about the thermal water, which they've done nicely. Dinner is buffet style, with very limited choice. It's a real mass place... Room was quite disappointing. Quite run down, spider webs on door opening, mold in the shower. Had a room that sleeps 4. Double bed ok, sofabed terrible. Internet constantly dropping in the room....

Solid 4 star hotel. Hotel is nice and clean. Rooms are big enough. The hotel could use some upgrades though. Food was good quality and varied enough. This is a lovely hotel and very well situated. The breakfast choices were extensive. The area is extremely busy during the day (tourists) but was surprisingly quiet in the evening. There are some wonderful restaurants and shops within walking distance and the streets are very quaint to meander through. If you're looking for nightlife, I recommend you stay on the Pest side. We were there as a family with young children so it’s not really appropriate. All people was watching us with hate even kids were just swimming, not being loud. It never happened similar to us. But the staff was super nice.

Who designed showers here? There is only half a shower door... whenever one takes a shower the water sprays out into the rest of the bathroom and literary creates a mini pool. I have noticed many hotels like this. I am wondering if there is something wrong with the way I take showers.

The interior is modern, artistic and the rooms are bigger than you expect at Ibis. The breakfast spread is good, and the parking was a breeze. The Check-in and check-out was quick and easy. The restaurant staff was nice, they helped my wife find all the vegetarian options at the breakfast buffet. Overall recommended.

Absolutely incredible hotel. We stayed for a little over a week, and let me tell you that this place was THE BEST! The staff are super friendly and very accommodating, the breakfasts were delicious and very fresh with plenty of croissants, coffee, porridge, yogurt, and more. The rooms are insanely quiet.
