Hotels with beach in Hungary

I was at the hotel in a renovated room,it was quiet the beds were comfy the food was good and there was a lot of it,the interior pool was good but the exterior pool was dirty there was a cigar in the exterior pool,there were partyes and the arcades were good,the staff was nice,but it was a challenge to find the private beach,it is worth the price

We wanted to use the hotel's private beach but the receptionist (a middle-aged, rather grumpy lady) refused to provide access, so we ended up going to the beach next door and paid the HUF 8,800 entry fee

Hotel Annabella in Balatonfüred has an exceptional location with direct access to the Tagore promenade and a small private beach, which is a definite highlight

Very nice place, well located in the heart of Balaton. The price is a bit higher than expected quality.

It wouldn't have cost her to give us access and she could have easily create a great first impression, but her customer service skills were clearly stuck in another century (I worked for Marriott International for 26 years, so I'd like to think I'm competent to make a balanced assessment)

Our family room was apparently the highest category. The entry door wouldn't close properly, the interior design was from the 1990's. The highlight of this property, besides its location, is the culinary team

The restaurant is open until 9:30 PM and after that you can't eat anything, which is a shame for an all-in hotel! Maybe some chips or salami or a dessert or even a piece of fruit downstairs? When you walk in the park you see nothing but children peeing everywhere! Yesterday a child shouted 'I'm going to do pee', he just stood in the public shower in the garden and peed in the shower, the mother had...

this used to be the case and is no longer the case! There is also very little to do in the evening! In the evening you can enjoy an aperitif that is free of charge! Upstairs you can drink a cocktail for a fee, which I understand is a fee, but it's a shame that you pay almost 1 euro for service costs! Furthermore, it is wonderful that you have such a large lake and a large garden with lots of shade...

We had a leak in the sink and it was repaired the day we went to tell you! Too bad that the parking has also become chargeable as it is not underground or covered, but there is a guard who is always super friendly and always says hello with a big smile and makes us cheerful! Too bad you can't eat anything downstairs after 5 p

Then over the large beautiful garden that is located on the beautiful lake, you cannot step from your lounge chair to the lake in your bare feet because if you step into a wet part you do not know whether you are walking and peeing or just water from the lake

In the case of eating, for example, they could also open the top part so that there is less crowds and there is a small place, now you have to be there promptly at 7:00 am / 12:00 pm / 6:00 pm if you want to eat at your leisure

We have already been to the hotel several times in 2018/2019, when the hotel was a very nice place to come on holiday, now we have returned again in 2024 and you would think that the hotel would improve, but this is not it

Breakfast and dinner were amazing, they always changed something, and the quality of the food was truly great! It is a big hotel, but the spa was not crowded, even with the house full

He soon became our go to guy for anything we needed either at the beach bar or in the dining room

Great hotel, right at the Balaton, like literally, you just have to step out of the building. Spacious, good atmosphere, elegant design

I did not spend any nights here, but had a coffee and a drink in the bar and asked the staff to show me the hotel facilities. Spa is really nice, the view is beatiful to the Balaton from the rooms. It has its own beach.

Both the spa area and the beach offered great places to relax and unwind. I just wish they were open later into the evening

Comfortable rooms, we had an awesome balcony, even though it was not facing the lake

I would describe this hotel as fairish. Our stay here was okay, but it was not that special. The food menu at breakfast was pretty poor (no bacon, no beans in tomato sauce, no cereals, no croissants, no fried eggs…)

There is enough sunbeds for everybody, near the beach is a big garden with massive trees that create shadow if you dont like to lay on the sun. The prices of meals for lunch is around 10€

Wellnes and spa is great - two giant pools (one indoor and one outdoor), saunas and a clean beach

Excellent hotel for a family vacation. There is an indoor pool with an open jacuzzi and streem course and outdoor pool. There is a direct way to Balaton Lake, where you can rent a Sap

And when I said to him a little pissed of (I was waiting approximately 15 min and he did not even say hello) that I am waiting he just ignored me and went to the guy after me

We had a great experience staying here! The room and the view were beautiful and we loved the saunas and the pool! The location was amazing as it was very close to the lake and you even have access to a private area by the lake that’s part of the hotel

On the minus side: - food in buffet is varied and attention is given to restricted diets but whatever runs out isn't always refilled, so go early - elevators are sloooooow :D - skyrose bar has great view but slow service, so be prepared to wait On the plus side: - good sauna variety (but not always at the indicated temperature) - interior pools (nothing special but handy when the weather's bad) -...

Excellent hotel, delicious food, breakfast and dinner,large selection of food. Excellent spa, swimming pools, 4 types of sauna, steam bath, everything excellent

Highly recommend this place and we will definitely come back to stay here again!

Considering the reception staff are the face of the hotel, they were not that friendly, welcoming or professional. One young dark haired woman in particular. The service/staff in the sky rose bar require more training

Nice hotel in a great town, but we have a few remarks after staying there for several nights: 1. TVs are a bit outdated, they lack smart TV, so you can't broadcast YouTube on them from your devices

Liked the location right next to the beach at Lake velence. The rooms are nice and the food is quite good. We had breakfast and dinner included in our stay. Quite pricey though.

Perfect for a few relaxing days with family

Wonderful place. Nice room, polite staff. Food is nothing special, but you won't be hungry. The spa itself is ok, but rather dirty. All in all, it is recommendable.

Out of the Hungarian vacation time, the service was still very good. Each and every area are clean, everything is prepared for the children, even if they were only a few at this time. Food is fine with Hungarian dishes

Very nice place to visit. A lot of activities are available the restaurant is good. I feel the quality of the food is great however the diversity is not very big.

We love it, but it's expensive. We have been there 6 times, but i don't know about frequenter program

Room was OK, except some little things (broken cosmetic mirror, I mean a screw should have been fixed, some light bulbs did not work, the water never dried on the bathroom floor, it was flooded, as the shower did not have a door

The clock in the spa section needed new battery as it had stopped, etc). So it needed some TLC, but it was last year, hopefully they are OK in 2019. We found the spa section too small

Luckily we went in the summer when everybody was able to use the outdoor pools as well, so it was not too crowded, but I do not know how busy it can get during autumn or winter

We stayed there for 2 nights, we had a really good time. Food was excellent, on Friday there was some live music during dinner

Anyway, it was OK for us for a little getaway

Absolutely best value for money accommodation in Siofok. Private beach close to many restaurants. Only wierd point is asking extra money for AC.

Clean, chap and has a private beach. What more can you ask for? Oh and they have a very reasonable bar too!

Great location with its own beach! Rooms are with terrace and comfortable but should be refurbished. The AC is paid separately (€10) and very efficient but a bit noisy. Great breakfast! In summary: a very decent 3* hotel

There are fees for parking and AC remote (9 and 11 Euro per day), which could raise the cost of your stay, but otherwise quite a good hotel and beach. One thing: the breakfast caffe is awful. Instant, I suppose.

Great location in the town center near all the restaurants and bars. Hotel is located on the beach next to Lake Balaton. It has it's own beach, access through the main entrance for the guests

Older but renovated hotel with direct beach access. This is the major reason we stayed here. Location is also great as it's close to most major attractions and restaurant.

The room was also clean with a lot of space, clean towels and everything we needed. All the facilities were nice and clean. We enjoyed the pools indoor and outdoor, and also the lake

Close to the lake and walking distance to the city. It won't be bad to clean the deckchair for lying next to the lake. And to have one towel for 3 days on these dirty chairs is a joke

Probably one of the best hotels I have stayed in situated right on the edge of lake balaton it offers a truly 5 star experience , a welcome cocktail when you arrive, amazing room with own balcony and mini bar, service was very good fill your wine as they notice it’s getting low, offered free cheese board at end of your meal, and the spa and pools were some of the best I have been in with and amazing...

The hotel itself offers a number of side activities as well as relaxation opportunities. The hotel staff is very nice, but not all of them can communicate fluently in english. But well, you can always negotiate here

I was really surprised to read all the bad reviews for this hotel. We were staying for 2 nights and had a great experience. BF was ok, standard, but dinner was amazing. Huge buffet with a lot of choices

My 2yo kid was really sad when we were leaving 😂 The staff at the reception were kind and helpful. Especially the girl at check out. I wish her all the best honestly

Nice design of the hotel, a bit too dark and depressive. The whole are including the cave spa is depressive and undermaintained. Food was really good

Half of the staff in the hotel were brand new due to the covid related closures, and they didn't really know how to handle particular situations, also they seemed a bit rude. The other half was really kind and helpful

The cleaning however has some room for improvement - not bad at all, just not perfect. There is a big local wine producer providing questionable quality wine and leaving very little room on the wine-card for others

There's an outside hot bath with thermal water which is really nice and it is open until 2am, we went there on the first night after the dinner. The cave bath is a must to try, especially if you like the slides

I was there in the middle of the week for two nights with my partner. The experience was positive, the room was modern and enough comfortable, food is nice, the level of service is almost always good

The view is breath-taking. Silent area, very nice after season is over. Swimming pool is very pleasant. The restaurant downstares is as good as any 5-star hotel restaurant in the capital.

Perfectly located with extensive beachfront near the beautiful marina. Several restaurants on site with buffet and al la carte choices. Very family friendly with plenty of activities for children of all ages

The overall demeanor from them was "can't wait to get off work and you are in our way" I hope this is just a summer job for them and this is not the permanent staff. It's VERY obvious they are not happy to be there

The rooms definitely are on the older side. They are very manageable but bathrooms are tighter and the overall cleanliness just wasn't there. Lots of hair in our room in carpets and on shelves

The younger girls who work the breakfast/dinner and drink area outside are just not very pleasant. It's very obvious the girls are not happy to be there and quite frankly are very rude

Not a big deal but was noticeable. Patio was super dirty with spider webs everywhere. Food and drinks were 4/5 and overall very enjoyable

Unfortunately most of the staff don't speak English. Why? Unfortunately, the website has incorrect information. We traveled with a child and wanted to use the beach next to the hotel

Located close to the lake Balaton at Sió canal. Food and rooms I’d consider it as average. The indoor pool is good also the water temperature is ok. However the roof terrace of the pool is quite dirty.

❗️We don't want to be rude, but unfortunately the hotel doesn't deserve four stars. Three stars - yes, due to the standard. The rooms definitely need to be renovated, cleanliness is also not a priority for the hotel

The undoubted advantage of the hotel is location and the beautiful view of Lake Balaton. We also thank you for your understanding for our daughter. We like to travel and stay in different hotels

We misssed sourdough rolls for example for breakfast. Something small for chlidren would be good as well. (Kid dishes , kids corner in the dining room etc) Small details makes difference

( lack of remote control for tv, window shader cannot be removed, telephone and safe does not work) but after I reported the problems the crew was very kind and helpful. So overall it was a very good experience

Thats perfect choice for family with kids. Also for fress couple as well. Its located mostly in the end of the road. So its kind of isolated from everthing. The rooms are modern wooden style

Even though the building is nice, the food quality and the mattresses are not up to standard. Service is acceptable, but could be better. It is not in a central location so having a car is essential.

Breakfast was okay, however we didn't like how the scrambled eggs were too sloppy (lucskos). The little private beach area is cool. After all, we had a good time there

The whole family enjoyed the stay, nice bath, children's corner at the restaurant and a small but very well designed kid's playground inside the building. The hotel is highly recommended!

At arrival to dinner we found one of the most fantastic salad bars with great fresh veggies and we could choose from multiple options when it came to warm food options

It turned out only later that they prepared special food for us, but we didn't ask for it as already the offered food options were great

Next morning the cleaning lady used bugspray to scare the spiders away. We still found two between the mosquito net and the balcony door. Cleaning lady was nice and helpfull. Dinner was very good and varied

The location of the Hotel is not the best but not bad. Since, they have a private beach at a short walk distance. The gate didn't work and everybody who wanted come in and out

The restaurant has good food variety and excellent dishes, staff however is visibly overworked especially during morning hours, so they struggle to refill the empty containers and clean the tables

Very little traffic around flat asphalted roads on top of the dams surrounding the lake from were there is always a beatiful view of the lake surface and its rich wildlife

The hotel is very well located, you can have a great view over lake Tisza. We had our dinner 🍽️ on the restaurant's heated terrace, which offers a stunning view over the lake

For us Balneum is the best location in that region with comfortable rooms, pretty good food, and hot water pools to soak in. We are definitely coming back at end of May

The hotel is amazing. The rooms were very cozy, the staff were sweet and very helpful and the food was delicious. It is the perfect place to relax honestly.

Instead of the live music maybe another pair of hands could be hired as many guests would appreciate it more. All in all, a positive experience

Very cozy hotel. The pool with thermal water is located directly in the hotel. Convenient location. The breakfasts are very decent. You can have lunch and dinner in the restaurant, the food is delicious.

"Hotel Aurum" deservedly wears its four stars. Coziness, comfort, restaurant and service of all staff at a high level

Service is poor but overall quality of the hotel / accomodation and the food is very Good - recommending

Their private beach is nice as well, though open to the public, it is never crowded. Really great value for the money! My only complaint, is that the coffee at breakfast is really bad 😀

Everything was wonderful! The staff is great, always smiling. If you have any kind of problem or complaint, they strive to find a solution right away

The view to tge lake from the balcony is absolutely amazing!Also the reception area is nice and the room has renovated doors and windows, also it has all the basic necessities and even the bed is very comfortable

Most of the equipment is really from the past decade, the AC costs extra per each day, the shower was clugged when we arrived and it seams that cleanliness is not really the very first priority

All in all it served it's purpose for spending a few relaxing days by the lake Balaton at close proximity but nothing special. Considering this, I felt he price range was a little high

The staff is very kind, helpful, the food is delicious, the rooms are clean. There was some disruption in the water supply and the spa, but it was quickly remedied, it didn’t really cause much of a problem

We liked the hotel. Amenities like pool table, swimming pool, jacuzzi were good. Rooms were clean. Needs maintainance for rooms & amenities.

Parking in the pension only for the chosen ones, it is necessary to look for a place on the street (we were lucky). Overall, I think it would be a beautiful place if only the owners worked on maintenance

The equipment of the hotel is well functional, only the climate did what it wanted and most importantly it was so noisy that we preferred to turn it off, even though I don't know what the hell it was

Staff helpful, breakfast buffet and always plenty of everything. The big advantage is the pool inside the hotel, unfortunately, the toilets by the pool is a bit of a horror, as is the surroundings

I got the hugest schnitzel I ever saw in the restaurant. There is a direct access to the lake, although the beach itself is rather small. The hotel is located at a closed, private territory, which is good

Really nice place to enjoy Lake Balaton, sail and do some sport. Very cozy hotel and superb restaurant. A must if you are planning to visit Hungary.

Once you find it, the property is located right next to the lake. There is a good bar and restaurant which has been recently renovated. We like the room for our family and we would come again.
