Hotels with beach in Hungary

 In summary, I enjoyed a very pleasant break whilst my husband was working very hard in the heat!  We would definitely recommend in low season but in July and August may be more suitable if you have children!

The only thing I could point out was the weak sound insulation and such a detail as the TV - if there is already a TV in the room, it should take into account programs that are intelligible to clients from the surrounding countries

We wanted to use the hotel's private beach but the receptionist (a middle-aged, rather grumpy lady) refused to provide access, so we ended up going to the beach next door and paid the HUF 8,800 entry fee

Overall this location is fantastic being on the Tihany shore with a private beach and a lovely pool

I was at the hotel in a renovated room,it was quiet the beds were comfy the food was good and there was a lot of it,the interior pool was good but the exterior pool was dirty there was a cigar in the exterior pool,there were partyes and the arcades were good,the staff was nice,but it was a challenge to find the private beach,it is worth the price

The restaurant is open until 9:30 PM and after that you can't eat anything, which is a shame for an all-in hotel! Maybe some chips or salami or a dessert or even a piece of fruit downstairs? When you walk in the park you see nothing but children peeing everywhere! Yesterday a child shouted 'I'm going to do pee', he just stood in the public shower in the garden and peed in the shower, the mother had...

We really like Hotel Marina, we are returning guests as a family with two small children. The staff is amazing! Everyone from the reception to the restaurant is very kind and helpful

The hotel is all-inclusive, and eating and drinking are very convenient. The swimming pool is free. The room is a bit simple, but it is very cost-effective in the Lake Balaton area.

Primarily because of them :), and secondly because of the Balaton summer, the delicious food and the clean rooms, I heartily recommend Hotel Marina

this used to be the case and is no longer the case! There is also very little to do in the evening! In the evening you can enjoy an aperitif that is free of charge! Upstairs you can drink a cocktail for a fee, which I understand is a fee, but it's a shame that you pay almost 1 euro for service costs! Furthermore, it is wonderful that you have such a large lake and a large garden with lots of shade...

Very good location (Balaton Lake is only 100 m; hotel has its own beach at the Lake); delicious food (every day different dishes!); rooms are big enough, new, comfortable, clean (good view to the Balaton); wellness is average (except saunas, which are varied, you can choose from 5 types); Air conditioning is not settable by yourself (sometimes it was too cold in the room)

Could be a great hotel at the beach of Balaton The roomservice simply does not exist, the room was dirty and not even the beds were made and the bathroom not cleaned up The bar was nice but at our first evening the bartender did not give ud a Drink because it was exactely 11pm although there were many perplex with full glases

The elevators are very slow especially during dinner and breakfast time. We got floor towels instead of normal big towels. the receptionist said they will send us towels but they didn't

Considering the reception staff are the face of the hotel, they were not that friendly, welcoming or professional. One young dark haired woman in particular. The service/staff in the sky rose bar require more training

The cleanliness of the hotel was also good, and have no big complaints apart from that that cleaning ladies ignore the “do not disturb” door sign and enter no matter what

The wait time from entering the bar to being waited on was really long. Ones glass would be empty too long before one had to go to the bar and request service

A nice and wonderful family hotel. Advantages: The wellness area is very neat and clean. The saunas are large and diverse. We really liked the park, private beach and the friendly swan 🦢

During our four-day stay, the room was not cleaned once and the towels were not changed either. Some improvements are still possible

Staff was nice, wellness is very good (big pools in and out), food was fine (buffet type half board), vegan and kid options available, the lake is just right outside of the building. Many entertainment options for kids

We were there several times and in a high season but it didn't feel crowded. This hotel is a way better option compared to Azure 5* Premium (espcially regarding rooms and food), definitely recommend to everyone

The only downside of things is that you have to pay for drinks at supper time even as a hotel guest. In most hotels I have stayed at drinks were always included in the price

My family and I were there in March 2025 for a conference and we really liked it. The food was always professionally prepared and delicious with some variety

Very nice place to visit. A lot of activities are available the restaurant is good. I feel the quality of the food is great however the diversity is not very big.

The hotel is heavily understaffed, and everything is very slow. Wellness is not maintained, half of saunas are turned off to save energy cost. They have never heard about customer focus

Wonderful place. Nice room, polite staff. Food is nothing special, but you won't be hungry. The spa itself is ok, but rather dirty. All in all, it is recommendable.

DInner and breakfast were OK, although we had requested vegetarian and gluten-free food but on the buffet dinner main choices there was nothing that was GF veggie

Absolutely best value for money accommodation in Siofok. Private beach close to many restaurants. Only wierd point is asking extra money for AC.

Location was very good because the hotel has its own beach and it is not far from the main city and nightlife stuff. The breakfast was a normal breakfast just like in every other hotel. Overall its a 4 star hotel for me

Great location with its own beach! Rooms are with terrace and comfortable but should be refurbished. The AC is paid separately (€10) and very efficient but a bit noisy. Great breakfast! In summary: a very decent 3* hotel

The near by hotel must be better maintained, especialy the beach. The personnel was very friendly. The parking is a bit far away, but safe. The hotel is in the midle of all commercial, restaurants, bars, etc

Great location in the town center near all the restaurants and bars. Hotel is located on the beach next to Lake Balaton. It has it's own beach, access through the main entrance for the guests

This is in the coast of Balaton see, clean blue water, own sand coach 😍 The breakfast was great and good. We rented bikes nearby and rided round the Balaton see for a week with our 20 persons riding group

This hotel is surprisingly super great both for adults and kids. The staff is extremely friendly, food is excellent, and the venue at the beach has also an amazing atmosphere and view. I couldn’t find anything negative

Service at the restaurant could be better…long waiting time for drinks! Othervise we still love it…beachfront and the view are great. Kid programs also good.

The view is breath-taking. Silent area, very nice after season is over. Swimming pool is very pleasant. The restaurant downstares is as good as any 5-star hotel restaurant in the capital.

Just visited relatives and had a dinner, but as I saw the hotel is perfect for families with kids. The room could be a little bigger. The food is at the highest level.

The playhouse, the sauna, the inside pool, the trampolin park, the playground, the menu selection, the game room all 5*

There was a company event taking place in the hotel that meant the lake side bar was closed to guests not part of this company event - quite poor in my opinion when you are a full paying hotel guest but a facility is closed to you in this way

Very modern, comfortable hotel, offering modern, clean rooms with the only gripe being lack of coffee machine in room and the very low grade/thin towels, otherwise all good and also decent breakfast too.

Room was OK, except some little things (broken cosmetic mirror, I mean a screw should have been fixed, some light bulbs did not work, the water never dried on the bathroom floor, it was flooded, as the shower did not have a door

The clock in the spa section needed new battery as it had stopped, etc). So it needed some TLC, but it was last year, hopefully they are OK in 2019. We found the spa section too small

Luckily we went in the summer when everybody was able to use the outdoor pools as well, so it was not too crowded, but I do not know how busy it can get during autumn or winter

We stayed there for 2 nights, we had a really good time. Food was excellent, on Friday there was some live music during dinner

Lovely location and very pleasant Hotel accommodation. we were totally satisfied with the room, restaurant, spa facilities, and above all else the cleanliness of the place

These days, unfortunately, were still too cold to be able to enjoy the full potential of this relatively small and graceful Spa as we mostly stayed inside the building which emanates a good atmosphere

Nice design of the hotel, a bit too dark and depressive. The whole are including the cave spa is depressive and undermaintained. Food was really good

Half of the staff in the hotel were brand new due to the covid related closures, and they didn't really know how to handle particular situations, also they seemed a bit rude. The other half was really kind and helpful

The cleaning however has some room for improvement - not bad at all, just not perfect. There is a big local wine producer providing questionable quality wine and leaving very little room on the wine-card for others

There's an outside hot bath with thermal water which is really nice and it is open until 2am, we went there on the first night after the dinner. The cave bath is a must to try, especially if you like the slides

I was there in the middle of the week for two nights with my partner. The experience was positive, the room was modern and enough comfortable, food is nice, the level of service is almost always good

Not a gourmet place, but flawless - it would be a 5 on its own. The enteriour of the hotel is very nice and it has a definite peculiarity - the place is extraordinary from this aspect

We are returnees to this hotel for various reasons. It is nice and quiet even in high season and has a private Balaton beach. The kitchen staff is very accommodating to requests, and other staff is also very helpful

Their private beach is nice as well, though open to the public, it is never crowded. Really great value for the money! My only complaint, is that the coffee at breakfast is really bad 😀

This hotel is a complete throw back, stay here and go back in time 30 years. The food is hearty, the staff friendly (I got to learn some Hungarian from one of the wait staff)

Everything was wonderful! The staff is great, always smiling. If you have any kind of problem or complaint, they strive to find a solution right away

The hotel itself offers a number of side activities as well as relaxation opportunities. The hotel staff is very nice, but not all of them can communicate fluently in english. But well, you can always negotiate here

I was really surprised to read all the bad reviews for this hotel. We were staying for 2 nights and had a great experience. BF was ok, standard, but dinner was amazing. Huge buffet with a lot of choices

The room was also clean with a lot of space, clean towels and everything we needed. All the facilities were nice and clean. We enjoyed the pools indoor and outdoor, and also the lake

My 2yo kid was really sad when we were leaving 😂 The staff at the reception were kind and helpful. Especially the girl at check out. I wish her all the best honestly

( lack of remote control for tv, window shader cannot be removed, telephone and safe does not work) but after I reported the problems the crew was very kind and helpful. So overall it was a very good experience

The Hotel Club Füred is a not very large, rather family-friendly hotel, with many excellent services: wellness (several types of sauna, swimming pool), bowling, bike rental, tennis courts, mini golf, private beach for those coming in the summer (we were in the fall), etc

We spent a few days here with our grown-up son. Everything about the hotel, the garden, and the Balaton beach are wonderful. The food is very delicious and tasty. A suggestion for the future, maybe a jacuzzi

We were happy with the food and appreciated that they had several vegetarian options. Location: The hotel is a bit further from the center (coffee shops, bars, restaurants) but is close to a shopping mall

The best part was the beautiful garden by the lake. Rooms are clean and staff was helpful. There are a few saunas and a swimming pool too. Half-board was included in our room rate (diner & breakfast)

I would be not fair to write something wrong , all clean , food tasty , breakfast could be better (I've missed coffee machine for example but coffee served was not bad ). People working there are nice and polite

Wellness Hotel was such a nice place located 100 meters from Lake Bank. Its restaurant (Swing & Jazz Restaurant) was remarkable with a lake view and faboulus dishes

The view to the lake is amazing, there are inflatable boats, bicycles and beach furniture to make your stay comfortable

The air conditioner did not work in the bedroom and the first night it was really hard to sleep in that heat. We complained, but there was no action taken. Second night we had a storm and it cooled down the bedroom a bit

Nice small hotel, staff has poor english what leads to misunderstanding, but in generally they are polite and helpful. In price are bikes and canoe so this is big highlight. Breakfast is simple but fresh

Family of 2+1 (11 years old) and we had a small apartment: 1 room with kitchenette and a separate bedroom. The rooms are nothing to write home about, but it was clean

Check out at 10 was too early. There's no private beach, it's close to the lake. Room 23 had air conditioning which was great. The place looks like it's not being managed, a lot of things look broken for a long time

Cute hotel, but some of the rooms are somewhat oppressive. Food was OK, right beside the beach but has no direct beach access due to vegetation.

The pool/jakuzzi area is quite nice and since it's indoors you don't need to worry about the cold! We were there on a small conference weekend and the conference room was spacious and came in very handy for those late nights

A cute hotel right on the Velence lake shore. really nice view and generally on a very beautiful spot. It has 2 billiard tables and a mini pingpong which is a pretty nice way to spend your afternoon

Overpriced, too expensive and seems quite abandoned. Was the only thing we found and it was not too bad but for that money there were better things, we were told 40 euros the night but it was per person
