Great amenities and lovely sized rooms. the lockers are smart lockers with a card to open and are very spacious. the shower is the best I've had with travelling and the staff were very friendly and helpful. lovely beds aswell, very comfortable and with a charger port per bed

If you’re looking for a place that’s easy to reach from the airport, close to the centre and full of like-minded people who like to party, this is the place for you. A bar downstairs offers live music and late parties while the rooftop bar offers a place to hang out, chill and have a great drink. The prices are very reasonable for the overal quality.

Everything was amazing, rooms were clean, safe lockers and amazing friendly help from reception. Met some really cool people and the prices in the bar downstairs are fab ! Location was perfect too, we had the best trip here, will defo be returning.

Great location but the bar downstairs is playing music untill 2/3am. It wasn’t too bad though, maybe bring some earplugs. Nice rooms for a party hostel and very nice bathrooms. It comes with paper hand towels and soap!

this hostel was amazing. if you’re a solo traveler it’s everything you’re looking for. yea the club in the center is loud but my room faced the outer street and i couldn’t hear any of it. the staff is friendly and really helpful. they have a lot of events every night. it’s easy to get in and out of the place. the bed and bathrooms are nice and clean. and the location is perfect. thanks!

Bed, bathroom, kitchen are super comfortable! Because it's a Party Hostel, so recommend the people who wants to go to the pub down stairs, if you just wanna have a quite sleeping place, maybe it's not a best choice.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was excellent quality for the price. Modern, clean, good bed and bedding. The air conditioning worked perfectly. The location is excellent for visiting the university and the city as well. Everything is in walking distance. I will definitely return.

Came to spend a night here, close to the medical center nearby. Room was clean, basic but comfortable, with a flat screen TV and private bathroom. What I loved most was the Korean restaurant next door.

Good. With a mini bar for evening sit out and some beers. Equipped with a small football pitch for evening and night sporting.

It's mostly a student hostel. The common areas are very clean and surprisingly quiet. The staff is nice and very helpful. Plus they have a really good Korean restaurant downstairs.

Great atmosphere and good rooms, located on the site of the Debrecen clinics. Comfy beds, and best vaule in the city for the price. Poor breakfast, either in a Korean (!) Restaurant or brought to the room but without knife and fork. May I recommend to all, once in Debrecen, who needs no fancy hotel but a comfy value accomodation.

Very nice, clean, guarded area. A disadvantage is that GPS is not found in,around, circulating, there's no visible sign of where exactly is the area of the entrance. The hotel is excellent,the climate,the wifi only in the lobby available. Price value ratio is ok.

Enjoyed see staying here. I was in a singbed room for a week. The breakfast was great and yeah the room was pretty basic but the rate was great. If I happen to go to Budapest again I'd stay here again

The hotel is basic but is didn’t find as bad as the reviews. The room and the bathroom were clean, I didn’t hear any noise até night. The location is good and the staff was ok for everything that I asked. The hotel is cheap so don’t expect luxury. I would stay there again.

The night will go. The hotel is located in a good location. Lived in room 412 on the 4th floor. Cleaned the room well every day. Breakfast is normal. Of the minuses - thin walls you can hear everything to sound like drunk German punks thump, yelling and carrying on. Very bad in the bathroom the water goes down and the room cold. Very bad heating!

It was so pleasing to find the best hostel in Budapest. Truly much satisfied experience. First of all, great location and the receptionist was friendly & helpful. I was offered an upgraded room as well. The kitchen & room had all amenities and exceptionally maintained. Check-in , check-out was rather quick as well. It's in a great location but from my hostel experience there is a bit of a strange vibe here at times. Quite a mix of different types of travellers. The breakfast was okay but wish it had more of a fruit/salad bar rather than a couple of apples. The location is superb and the staff seemed like they were really trying. Excellent experience overall! I got a 8-bed mixed room with 2 of my friends. The beds were modern and relatively clean, though the room got really warm on one day. I had one of the best shared rooms (on 2nd floor) with space and AC and our own kitchen, a separate bathroom to take a shower in the night without waking up everyone. Very clean. Good for solo travel, well located in the city. Also dinner is very affordable so it's a lovely option for low budget travel.

I have very mixed feelings about this hostel, the location is the best one you can ask for, right in the middle of everything and next to some very nice bars and restaurants. The location was excellent, conveniently close to bus and subway stations. The staff were helpful. I've stayed with this chain before 2019, hasn't changed alot. The room was decent, though there was room for improvement. The prices were reasonable. social areas are nice and good to meet new people, 4 stars for location, 3 stars for the room.

Amazing location and very kind staff. Loved our stay here and will definitely be back. Sometimes the room was a little noisy at night but nothing too crazy. Breakfast was a little underwhelming though, just the basics. Would happily pay a little more for some more breakfast options.

This hostel felt more like a hotel in that everything felt very sterile and clean. A very nice, large and clean hostel. We stayed in 4 person room which was veey large. Each of us had a bed, large closet with lock and enought personal space. The common area is also very spaceus and comfortable. It is close to the center of the city so nothing is very far.

I had so much fun at H1 Budapest. The staff is great. Best receptionist is Rob by far!! And best volunteer is Olivia. Marla is a close second. By the way, they do have multiple hair dryers, so don't worry about that! Every day and night there is something to do.

One of the best hostels I have stayed in whilst travelling due to the wonderful staff and volunteers here. I completely messed up my booking and Marina and Martini quickly sorted me out! We were in a deep trouble as we needed accommodation asap in the middle of the night for 4 person. We called them and got a nice and very clean room for a reasonable price. They were really friendly and helpful. The breakfast was also good. P.s. Not a single spider or any kind of bug/insect in the building which is definitely a huge plus in this area of lake Balaton :)

AMAZING AMAZING. I switched from staying to the Hive Party Hostel (not a great first night in Budapest to say the least) to Vitae Hostel, and I don't regret it one bit. You could go out and party if you wanted to or stay in to rest up. There was always some sort of event happening and everyone also wanted to sightsee/travel during the day. Loved the common spaces and staff.

The best hostel ever. Thanks to Wes (hope I wrote it in a correct way). This hostel provides rooms and food for free to Ukrainian refugees. Stayed at vitae for three nights was amazing, the staff are so helpful and if you need anything they’ll definitely give you a hand or advice with where to go sight seeing and partying. Would recommend to our friends. Sam was the best tour guide

Carpe Noctem Vitae Hostel is located right in the city centre. It's also located within 5 minutes of great clubs. Furthermore, the service provided is great and the facility is very clean.

For me as a solo Traveller with bicycle the place offered all I need. It was basic, but clean and quiet. There was also a safe place for my bike. I very much appreciated all the help offered by Erno Turdok. He was very friendly and helpful.

I stayed at Pal's Mini for 5 nights in a clean and spacious room with a bathroom. Friendly and helpful staff. It is also well connected, in fact the metro is just a few meters away from the hostel. We really enjoyed it!

Great little hostel in the city centre. Quick and easy access into the centre of the city. Room are okay, showers are fine. Unfortunately only 1 male toilet and 1 female toilet for all guests, although there doesn't seem to be more than 20 bed spaces in the whole hostel so not much of an issue. Kitchen facilities were good and the whole place was clean. One downside is the access within the building...

Very good location right in the center. The staff were also very helpful. Rooms were clean but had a weird smell to it. Also the key given can unlock all the rooms in the building so safety wise it’s not too practical. Overall good value for money. Also very loud at night.

Made my stay in Budapest more sociable than EVER! Many common places to socialize with *chill* young people from all around the world, the staff is really friendly and cool and the kitchen is really spacious and equipped. The only thing I feel like criticizing are the rooms, which are a bit small and narrowed, but not enough to stop you from booking here and enjoy a trip in this amazing town.

The location is really good, and the beds were comfortable. There is a lot of locker storage for valuables and backpacks. The room felt safe and nice with 24-hour reception service. Very cool place! I highly recommend this hostel to anyone visiting Budapest. Central location with great public transport links / lots of stuff walking distance.
