Tourist bases with cottages in Hungary

It was my 1st time to visit Club Tihany Bungalows. Location is really good, staff is nice, breakfast is tasty. The only thing I am not happy with that the bungalow did not seem perfectly cleaned which is really important specially during the covid. Also cobwebs must be removed. Anyway I am giving 5 * will be going back deffo

It is a good place for families. Good conditions of living. Air conditioning in every room, cleaning services on high level and cooking services as well-they were very helpful.

The hotel location is great, the garden is very, spacious, it has an own beach with sunbeds. There are kid club, playground, football, basketball court and outside kid's pool with slide. Inner wellness is great, not crowded. Our room was spacious with lake view balcony, it was very clean and nice room. Breakfast and dinner was excellent, wide selection of food, the bar next to reception was also great...

I been here many many and more times. Whatever is a good old hotel 🏩 with a best beach of the northern Bank of the Balaton. Good Service! Fine food.

Absolutely fantastic dinners, superb Hungarian style meals, great choice. We were here for the fifth time. Pleasant large rooms, if you book the superior class with lake view, balcony (on which smoking is not allowed) and air condition in the main hotel building. Great campsite, cute places and nice staff.

Really nice place for a holiday or even a day trip. The camping is right next to lake Sástó, where there is a path around the lake (suitable for buggies). There is loads of ducks, little islands in the lake to explore and a lookout tower in the woods. There is a restaruant and a café in the camping complex. There is no ATM machine around but most places take cards.

We spent holiday 23dec to 26dec 18. Nice resting, kind employers, but the roof made from metal so if you have upstairs room and its raining, you wont sleep. Doors are under upgrading to electronics, wich is a perfect feature, but at this time its not available on upstairs. The salt cave is usefull, you can have relax, and healthy. I've been visiting this place for 30 years now. Loving the atmosphere, taking excursions around the hills and like the services the Camping offers. Yet, one note: since the renewal of the camping, prices went too high for me, I preferred to travel there with backpacks, stay in a tent and pay less.

I wanted somewhere quiet away from everything and this proved to be most acceptable. As I was late booking they very kindly made up a room for me and also as I was leaving early was very touched to be given some sandwiches to eat along the way. It’s a special place which I will remember for a while to come. Thank you.

Bit expensive but good place to go if you want to swim in a lake at hot summer days. Communal toilet was disappointing to be honest, otherwise its a pretty place to be.

A beautiful place right next to gyor. Cozy rooms and a lovely staff. No wifi signal in the room unfortunately but other than that the place is amazing!

We were on a wedding here. Very good service, nice staff, delicious and a lot of food, nice wooden houses. It was a bit cold when we were there, so we couldn’t enjoy the lake, but in the summertime we definitely would.

Achilles park in Gyor is one of the nice place to spend summer or to visit . Place is beautifully natural and inside they have lake there you can swim and boat. They have spa as well. Small wooden houses are very beautiful and nice to stay. I really liked the place.

A remote event venue / bungalow hotel near Győr with a lake. Nice staff, quiet, romantic location, a little simple and rustic.

Great for two-days city escape. Nice tradition, when baker leaves fresh bread at your doors at early morning. The only thing was that there were no coverage at the top of the staircase - seen very dangerous for families with small kids. And be aware - a bell from the nearby church will wake you up at 5am :)

During our time here, we had a wonderful time travel. We can live in an authentic cottage that is more than 100 years old. Entering the kitchen, we were always greeted by pleasant warmth, the built-in stove made us forget that there is actually central heating in the house. It was an island of peace and relaxation. We'll be back one day, in another season!

I stayed here on my long distance hike through Hungary. It was a nice opportunity to spend a night in the middle of the UNESCO world heritage village of Hollókö. My house had quaint original furniture but modern sanitation facilities. A restaurant was nearby. The castle is also not far, as well as the many little museums of the village. The spot and the surrounding is fabulous, you have to get accustomed to the foul smell of the warm thermal water from the shower. Take care for your belongings do not leave anything in your tents..

Great size, epic taste for all food! We were there with 4 people, 2 men and 2 women, the dishes were perfect for all of us. Prices are very fit, not too much! Great service, we were paid attention at all the time not needing to wait any for order plus things. So so nice and fantastic staff! Thank you so much

Tried some local dish Zala dödöle, which are potatoes dumplings seasoned with fried diced bacon and onion and sour cream. It's a strong energetic dish which was eaten by peasants, so nothing fancy. It tasted great and authentic. Tap beer and coffee all at a fair price.

The location was excellent, and the staff were friendly and helpful. However, noise from the hallway was constantly audible, and an outdoor light that seemed to be motion-activated kept turning on and off throughout the night, making it very difficult to sleep.

I really liked the hotel. The hosts are nice. It's located in the center, and there's a beautiful courtyard. It's quiet and pleasant.

The location is good it is right next to the metro and it doesn't take long to walk into the main parts of the Jewish quarter. They were great in waiting in reception for my arrival late at night. The cleanliness isn't great, they will change the towels if you want them too but the room was not cleaned other than the bed been made. There were some dead bugs in the room for days without being cleaned...

Had a great stay at this hostel—clean rooms, friendly staff, and a relaxed atmosphere. Location was central and convenient. Would definitely recommend for budget-conscious travelers.

Near Lidl, a bit small entrance and harder to find ,but once you get in, it's pretty nice

Centrooms offers a great central location, just a short walk from the airport bus stop — very good for travellers. There is a quiet and cozy courtyard. Room was comfortable. However, no kettle was available in the room. It's a good option for a stay with good price.

Not bad. Subway station, bus station, and tram station are right in front. You have to ask for the heater remote control.

The hotel is clean, the gentleman when we checked in was very helpful. But the lady that took over from him couldn’t even find me a spoon to stir my tea with. Then the lady next day was complete waste of time and wasn’t very helpful at all

The location of the hotel is perfect and convenient. It is in the city center. Even we arrived at 12:30am, but we could still check in smoothly. The price is very affordable. Overall, I strongly recommend this hotel.

This guesthouse is great. The location is absolutely central. 3 minutes from Deak Ferenc square which is a public transport hub, right at the shopping street on the square where Christmas market usually happens. The rooms are clean with comfortable beds. You can also use the kitchen as well. Elisa's daughter has a small showroom for designer fashion clothes in the guesthouse as well.

This is my 5th trip to Budapest and my favorite place I've stayed. Elisa is so sweet! We only needed a quick place to sleep for 5 hours before our very early flight so I found this place at he last minute near our boat dock. Upon arrival I regretted not finding it at the beginning of our stay when we spent several days in Budapest as this was SO much nicer than our other location. The room was immaculate...
