My first time in Budapest. Wasn’t sure what to expect. To my surprise the beauty of the city was breathtaking and the hotel is 5 star in my book. Every guest treated like royalty. You must put this city on your bucket list to visit. Be sure to book this wonderful hotel for your stay!

The entrance to the building and hallway is grand and welcoming. The SPA pool area is excellent and very relaxing. The rooms are nice clean, quiet and most importantly the beds are comfortable. A lovely 5 star, beautifully decorated. The room i had was large and comfortable. The service everywhere was efficient with a friendly smile. Very good selection for breakfast which can be taken either in the restaurant or the atrium. Located in easy walking distance of many main attractions. Tram stop right in front of the hotel. An old fashioned beautiful hotel. Our executive suit was beautifully decorated and had access to executive lounge which is a useful amenity. Hotel is well maintained. Breakfast buffet was extensive but most of the food was of average quality. Location is not particularly central and the street on which the hotel is located was a bit grungy. Our recent stay at Corinthia Budapest was wonderful! The service is 10/10 and so is the attention to detail. We had a great time here a couple of weeks ago. Nice breakfast, great cocktails and close to a lot nice restaurants. The spa is stunning and well cleaned, the hot tub is a beast though. Great for soothing tired leg muscles after a days sightseeing. The only downside way on the soft side so struggled to sleep well, but other than that it was great.

The place was made for kids, or those who still feel like once. Planty of water slides, indoor pools and jacuzzi. Outdoor warmed pools, playgrounds, food courts and more. The kids wanted to stay more. Easy to arrive from the center of Budapest by public transportation.

I'm rating the hotel only. Nice rooms, large breakfast buffet. A/C in the rooms could be more powerful in summer months. No satisfactory solution for charging electric cars (standard electric plug to be used, providing only about 1.6 kW).

The facilities where very good. The dinner was not good and not worth the price. The bath was not very clean and the air condition was very noisy and not very cold. The cashier in the pool Restaurant fast food were not nice and they talked about us in Hungarian. The guy in checkout reception was very nice. And asked how do we feel.

The park itself was very nice for kids (event the pool restaurant surprised us) but we do not recommend staying at the hotel. It looks like they don't like strangers, and even when I complained to the hotel management (both through reception and through a direct email) about the bartender who just wouldn't talk to me in English, he didn't even respond.

Pure happiness! This place has got everything you need! We loved the kids club which is open everyday 9am-9pm. So much fun! The hotel is very clean and the staff is super friendly and helpful. We’ll definitely come back!

We really enjoyed our day there. The location is a little outside of Budapest city center but you can come by bus easily. We came on a weekday and it was quite a lot of people (mostly families) there. Still it was enough space inside the pools and you didn't need to queue for a long time to use the slides. This is basically a small village for tourists. Several detached houses and bigger buildings with own shops and internal smaller / external bigger spa, restaurant. This place is famous for free wifi that costs 3500 Huf per week ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Expect similar hidden costs that is not much, just annoying that other places usually dont lie down for loose change. The staff was not able to find an already booked room in their system and you have to prove them by emails. They would like to pay for rooms twice if they could....

Huge complex of various rooms/apartments with a great variety of activities to do in your free time, such as the indoor and outdoor swimming pools, welness center with saunas, jacuzzi and massages, outdoor chess, riding horses... An excellent resort, very tasty breakfasts and dinners, there are various SPA treatments, there are pools with thermal water of different temperatures, as well as an outdoor swimming pool, there is a sauna, hammam, etc. Beautiful territory, 7 min walk from Lake Heviz. Our favorite place in Hévíz, and even in the whole Balaton area. This was our second time in the hotel and we loved it. The spa area is great. We spent a wonderful 24 hours at the Lotus Therme Hotel & Spa. From the friendly early checkin (I think we got there around noon) to the smartly attired professional staff we felt pampered and at home. The building from outside and inside would need some renovation. However, I understand the property itself is a historical one. The staff itself is kind, professional and helpful. The location is perfect, and the panorama is stunningly beautiful. Everything is close by walking distance. The Danube river is beautiful from the view. Everything is great - location, views, beds/rooms, lobby and outdoor seating areas, and the breakfast buffet is one of the best I’ve ever been to! It’s massive. Can’t ask for a better spot to be stationed while exploring Budapest. And every single person who works there is wonderful, great customer service.

Great place to stay in Budapest. Hotel is in a great location right on the Danube and offers spectacular views of the city. Staff was very friendly and the rooms were very clean. Everything seemed new and modern and very upscale. Big lobby with a restaurant and bar as well.

We did enjoy our stay at the Continental Hotel and the venue was beautiful. Small details like chocolates in the room upon arrival were lovely. Overall however, I would not be confident recommending this stay to family and friends looking for a 4 star hotel or above. This is a 3 star hotel with some added bonuses like the spa. The shower in our original room leaked and flooded the entire bathroom....

This hotel is absolutely beautiful! The staff were really friendly and everything is within walking distance of the hotel. The saunas and pool are easily accessible. Unfortunately the outdoor pool had closed during our stay. The only issue we had was that we had 2 single beds pushed together with 2 single quilts and would have preferred an actual double bed. Lovely hotel not far from the great synagogue in Budapest. Full services, great breakfasts. Their restaurant, Araz, was exceptionally good. Unfortunately the room did not live up to its description on the hotel’s website. We booked directly with the hotel last August, the executive room description states that they have either a city or courtyard view. Nice wellness hotel: Great food (buffet, international and Hungarian food). Our room was clean (but book a renovated Deluxe room!), wifi works well. Parking is included. There are several pool areas, all of them nice. Only improvement that comes to my mind: Give Csucsu, the adorable parrot a little more space.

We took a deluxe room which was nice, but I'm not sure about the other rooms. Saunas are old and falling apart. However, the worst part was the food! I am familiar with the Hungarian cuisine, but this was a complete disaster. My wife and I couldn't find a single dish that we would recommend. Very nice hotel and clean rooms but kitchen is poor. During Holidays in Hungary we are used to much better food than here. Even so, we had a great vacation in this hotel. I recommend it to everyone.

Not very friendly nor professional staff at the reception. They wanted to charge us the amount that we have already paid for our stay and didn' t even bother to appologize afterwards. That really kind of spoiled the experience. Otherwise, we had a pleasant stay.

One of the best location around Zalakaros. I stayed here several times for business and private. Hozel staff is very nice and helpful. Hotel is connected with the Zalakaros Spa where you can enjoy thermal pools onside and outside with children as well also during winter. Food is delicious with a wide broad of selection.

The hotel is a great place to stay in case you have children. The staff is helpful and kind when you need something. They even manage all kind of dietary needs. The place has direct access to the Zalakaros bath, where you could have fun inside or outside.

The thermal park is amazing, but I've got feet fungus after a day visit :(. It is difficult to use slippers inside because of the park's architecture - you enter the pool inside, but exit outside and then you have to cross an area to enter another pool. A couple of times, I walked barefoot (on tiptoe). Now I have to cure fungus on my skin on the area where my feet touched the floor. Don't be lazy,...

We only used their spa facility. Many pools, nicely maintained. Separate cold-warm water pools to improve your circulation! Such a shame that the salt-hill next to the hotel is severely neglected, looks dirty and pretty awful now.

A great no-nonsense hotel perfect for a comfortable stay. A substantial breakfast is included and the on site restaurant serves great traditional Hungarian food and drinks. The spa facilities are great, albeit with a confusing layout! The location is not central to the city, but a short taxi or bus ride gets you there!

This is a Lovely large Conference Business centre situated in it's own grounds just adjacent to the main road, it has a Lovely large sumptuous green space that you can be at one with your thoughts. The family room was comfortable, modern and well equipped. Although the ventilation in the kids room was quite loud and could not be turned off. Breakfast and dinner were delicious, with a varied and high quality selection. The pool and spa area was spacious and pleasant, but it's good to know that their rules require you to remove your swimsuit to use the sauna and Turkish bath.

I had a great business trip to Budapest in December. The staff (particularly a gentleman named Akos) was amazing and super attentive towards my needs. The room service and location were great as well. The bar was fantastic and the bartender Oliver, was so gentlemanly and kind. I loved it so much. We were able to check in early, which was convenient after a really long flight, though we did receive a street view instead of the city view we’d hoped for. Stayed here for one night, and was pleased to receive very generous elite recognition as Titanium. Staff were omnipresent, attentive, and cordial. The room was spacious and pristine (my only complaint - the carpeting is a touch dated, even if in fair condition). Breakfast was excellent (try the shakshuka). Great location... dated rooms. Had a great sized room, 1 minute away from the trams and subway. This was the perfect place to stay to be downtown. The rooms weren't cleaned well, and ants were in the bathroom. The water didn't work well, and they couldn't fix the heat seating for the shower. So hot showers on hot days. The staff were great, and the breakfast was a really nice continental option...

The hotel is well located in the city centre. Very good connectivity just outside the hotel. Quite a lot of good restaurants and bars in walking distance. The 2 people at the bar, a boy and a girl, forgot their names, provided good suggestions on things to do and place to eat. All the suggestions were great. The check-in lady Victoria and the rest of the team, too, were very helpful . Very good service

Great hotel, we had to book due to last minute cancelation of our other plans. Accommodating staff, fabulous reservation person, huge breakfast spread. Comfortable rooms, amazing location.

We were guests in August and the experience was amazing from start to finish. We received a welcome drink and the personnel was always friendly and helpful even though it was busy at times. The junior suite was incredible and the hotel was the most beautiful I have ever seen. The architecture is simply incredible and every detail even the escalator is incredible. The Spa was also great and very relaxing...

All I can say is WOW! I’ve been home for two days and I catch myself day dreaming about being back at Anantara. Absolutely beautiful rooms, amazing service, tucked away but still very central. I felt like royalty staying here. The cappuccinos here are not to be missed (until you’re no longer there) and every meal I had was completely 5 star.

This hotel is the best so far we have seen around Europe. From receptionist to doorman and restaurant staff everyone was absolutely amazing. The rooms are spotless and spacious. Was our first stay this year but We will come back every year now. Many thanks to Szonja from reception that was the most helpful. Well done!

Great experience! The hotel itself looks amazing, my room was huge with all the necessary amenities. The staff was super nice, polite and helped me with a lot of organizational questions. While to my taste, its location is not perfect, I highly recommend to stay at this hotel to experience its dining, super fancy breakfast, bar and SPA

The spa was quiet and relaxing offering excellent treatments, the room service was quick and delicious and the Poets Bar had excellent service with beautiful views of the New York Cafe below. Very good stay at the New York Palace. The rooms are very modern with great functioning AC (even through a 90 degree heat wave throughout the city). The staff is very attentive and the breakfast is amazing. The one minus is that is a much longer walk to the major city attractions and area around the hotel is not the best (the neighborhood has yet to complete the post socialist clean up)
