My first time in Budapest. Wasn’t sure what to expect. To my surprise the beauty of the city was breathtaking and the hotel is 5 star in my book. Every guest treated like royalty. You must put this city on your bucket list to visit. Be sure to book this wonderful hotel for your stay!

The entrance to the building and hallway is grand and welcoming. The SPA pool area is excellent and very relaxing. The rooms are nice clean, quiet and most importantly the beds are comfortable. A lovely 5 star, beautifully decorated. The room i had was large and comfortable. The service everywhere was efficient with a friendly smile. Very good selection for breakfast which can be taken either in the restaurant or the atrium. Located in easy walking distance of many main attractions. Tram stop right in front of the hotel. All things considered it was an excellent stay.

An old fashioned beautiful hotel. Our executive suit was beautifully decorated and had access to executive lounge which is a useful amenity. Hotel is well maintained. Breakfast buffet was extensive but most of the food was of average quality. Location is not particularly central and the street on which the hotel is located was a bit grungy. We had a great time here a couple of weeks ago. Nice breakfast, great cocktails and close to a lot nice restaurants. The spa is stunning and well cleaned, the hot tub is a beast though. Great for soothing tired leg muscles after a days sightseeing. The only downside way on the soft side so struggled to sleep well, but other than that it was great.

An excellent resort, very tasty breakfasts and dinners, there are various SPA treatments, there are pools with thermal water of different temperatures, as well as an outdoor swimming pool, there is a sauna, hammam, etc. Beautiful territory, 7 min walk from Lake Heviz. We spent a wonderful 24 hours at the Lotus Therme Hotel & Spa. From the friendly early checkin (I think we got there around noon) to the smartly attired professional staff we felt pampered and at home. The rooms are big and amenities are of good quality. The breakfast has many options for all taste and a really good Lebanese corner with fresh pita bread. The service is super good and the gym is well equipped for a hotel one. The location is the best you can get, looking at the palace near the bridge. Close to many good restaurants. We had a great 3 night stay in Ensana Thermal Aqua hotel. Room was very comfy and the personal was very frindly, professional and helpfull. Not bad hotel. Rooms are ok, wellness & spa part is also ok, saw better, saw worse. Got 2 small pools with hot water, one that is connected with outer part. Got small pool for kids. Also got some saunas and steam bath. Food is average, but versatility of food is questionable. If you are vegan or vegetarian, don't have to much options. The biggest minus is that most of the staff does not speak English...

The building from outside and inside would need some renovation. However, I understand the property itself is a historical one. The staff itself is kind, professional and helpful. The location is perfect, and the panorama is stunningly beautiful. Everything is close by walking distance. The Danube river is beautiful from the view. Reservation is easy, and there plenty of options.

Everything is great - location, views, beds/rooms, lobby and outdoor seating areas, and the breakfast buffet is one of the best I’ve ever been to! It’s massive. Stayed in a family suite over the Christmas holidays, and loved it. I don't get the mixed reviews. We found the staff to be exceptionally helpful and the hotel dining (breakfast and Paris Cafe) to be great. It’s evident that this hotel was once grandiose, but time has taken its toll. The large complex with pools is impressive in size, but there are more outside visitors than hotel guests, which gives the place a cheap feel. The sunbeds are in terrible condition, and towels are not provided at the pool entrance—you have to bring small towels from your room. It feels more like a public pool than a hotel...

The place was made for kids, or those who still feel like once. Planty of water slides, indoor pools and jacuzzi. Outdoor warmed pools, playgrounds, food courts and more. The kids wanted to stay more. Easy to arrive from the center of Budapest by public transportation.

I'm rating the hotel only. Nice rooms, large breakfast buffet. A/C in the rooms could be more powerful in summer months. No satisfactory solution for charging electric cars (standard electric plug to be used, providing only about 1.6 kW).

The facilities where very good. The dinner was not good and not worth the price. The bath was not very clean and the air condition was very noisy and not very cold. The cashier in the pool Restaurant fast food were not nice and they talked about us in Hungarian. The guy in checkout reception was very nice. And asked how do we feel.

The park itself was very nice for kids (event the pool restaurant surprised us) but we do not recommend staying at the hotel. It looks like they don't like strangers, and even when I complained to the hotel management (both through reception and through a direct email) about the bartender who just wouldn't talk to me in English, he didn't even respond.

I should say BIG THANK YOU to NH Hotel Budapest. I lost my Iphone 15 promax, but they found it in the breakfast table where I was eating. I was so clumsy with my item, but I appreciated so much for the hotel and staff support to keep it safe and handed to me. The front office staff were also very patient and caring when I requested support to print out few documents. Such a BIG HELP!! You are amazing...

Ok hotel, but staff not at all accomodating when I needed a secluded place for a meeting after checkout. Claimed all rooms and conference rooms were booked. Could see for myself that at least two conference rooms were locked with no participants and it was still possible to make reservations for a regular room on the web site ☹️

I came here for a two night solo staycation and it was one of the best decisions I've made. I went for their "autumn relaxation package" which included the room, half-board, wifi, bicycle rental and use of wellness facilities, for a very friendly price! This place is famous for free wifi that costs 3500 Huf per week ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Expect similar hidden costs that is not much, just annoying that other places usually dont lie down for loose change. The staff was not able to find an already booked room in their system and you have to prove them by emails. They would like to pay for rooms twice if they could....

We did enjoy our stay at the Continental Hotel and the venue was beautiful. Small details like chocolates in the room upon arrival were lovely. Overall however, I would not be confident recommending this stay to family and friends looking for a 4 star hotel or above. This is a 3 star hotel with some added bonuses like the spa. The shower in our original room leaked and flooded the entire bathroom....

This hotel is absolutely beautiful! The staff were really friendly and everything is within walking distance of the hotel. The saunas and pool are easily accessible. Unfortunately the outdoor pool had closed during our stay. The only issue we had was that we had 2 single beds pushed together with 2 single quilts and would have preferred an actual double bed. Unfortunately the room did not live up to its description on the hotel’s website. We booked directly with the hotel last August, the executive room description states that they have either a city or courtyard view. We stayed in the apartment, and found the best of all worlds. The hotel has insanely good spa facilities, with the thermal section, the sauna world (be aware that it's without bathing suits for this), the outdoor pool and indoor pool too. Had a fantastic stay at Carbona Hotel in Hévíz! The rooms were comfortable, the service was top-notch, and the cocktails were delicious. The spa was incredibly relaxing, with a wide variety of beauty, medical, and relaxation services. We’ll definitely be coming back! Highly recommend!

Nice wellness hotel: Great food (buffet, international and Hungarian food). Our room was clean (but book a renovated Deluxe room!), wifi works well. Parking is included. There are several pool areas, all of them nice. Only improvement that comes to my mind: Give Csucsu, the adorable parrot a little more space.

We stayed 2 nights, the wellness and pool areas are amazing. The bar staff are very kind and helpful, they’re doing a great service. Various food, but very small buffet area. Room is clean and spacious, warm enough. We had issue only with the bed and mattress. Mattress is too old and used.

We took a deluxe room which was nice, but I'm not sure about the other rooms. Saunas are old and falling apart. However, the worst part was the food! I am familiar with the Hungarian cuisine, but this was a complete disaster. My wife and I couldn't find a single dish that we would recommend. She even found dark long hair two times in different dishes, and the waiter only said "no good" to our complaints...

The family room was comfortable, modern and well equipped. Although the ventilation in the kids room was quite loud and could not be turned off. Breakfast and dinner were delicious, with a varied and high quality selection. The pool and spa area was spacious and pleasant, but it's good to know that their rules require you to remove your swimsuit to use the sauna and Turkish bath.

Great location... dated rooms. Had a great sized room, 1 minute away from the trams and subway. This was the perfect place to stay to be downtown. The rooms weren't cleaned well, and ants were in the bathroom. The water didn't work well, and they couldn't fix the heat seating for the shower. So hot showers on hot days. The hotel is well located in the city centre. Very good connectivity just outside the hotel. Quite a lot of good restaurants and bars in walking distance. I had a great business trip to Budapest in December. The staff (particularly a gentleman named Akos) was amazing and super attentive towards my needs. The room service and location were great as well. The bar was fantastic and the bartender Oliver, was so gentlemanly and kind. I loved it so much. Only recommendation is that the hot tub could be a bit more hot!

Our stay at the Ritz Carlton was wonderful overall. We were able to check in early, which was convenient after a really long flight, though we did receive a street view instead of the city view we’d hoped for. The check-in process was smooth, and most of the staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive. Stayed here for one night, and was pleased to receive very generous elite recognition as Titanium. Staff were omnipresent, attentive, and cordial. The room was spacious and pristine (my only complaint - the carpeting is a touch dated, even if in fair condition). Breakfast was excellent (try the shakshuka). Very nice hotel and clean rooms but kitchen is poor. During Holidays in Hungary we are used to much better food than here. Even so, we had a great vacation in this hotel. I recommend it to everyone.

One of the best location around Zalakaros. I stayed here several times for business and private. Hozel staff is very nice and helpful. Hotel is connected with the Zalakaros Spa where you can enjoy thermal pools onside and outside with children as well also during winter. Food is delicious with a wide broad of selection.

The hotel is a great place to stay in case you have children. The staff is helpful and kind when you need something. They even manage all kind of dietary needs. The place has direct access to the Zalakaros bath, where you could have fun inside or outside.

We were guests in August and the experience was amazing from start to finish. We received a welcome drink and the personnel was always friendly and helpful even though it was busy at times. The junior suite was incredible and the hotel was the most beautiful I have ever seen. The architecture is simply incredible and every detail even the escalator is incredible. All I can say is WOW! I’ve been home for two days and I catch myself day dreaming about being back at Anantara. Absolutely beautiful rooms, amazing service, tucked away but still very central. I felt like royalty staying here. The cappuccinos here are not to be missed (until you’re no longer there) and every meal I had was completely 5 star.

Very good stay at the New York Palace. The rooms are very modern with great functioning AC (even through a 90 degree heat wave throughout the city). The staff is very attentive and the breakfast is amazing. The one minus is that is a much longer walk to the major city attractions and area around the hotel is not the best (the neighborhood has yet to complete the post socialist clean up)

We only stopped by for cocktails, but so nice we did it twice over a three day stay. Our second favourite hotel in Budapest if we were to come back. Great central location.

Really amazing hotel. Rooms and building it self is awesome. Staff well trained, good wellness area with amazing wardrobe. Restaurant is very good, very good value for money. Breakfast is great with good food selection. But it would be nice if the room would be expensier and they would not charge extras on breakfast. The only bed thing was coffee, it was really bed. From the outside, this is a beautiful building with stunning architectural aspects. We did not stay here or get a chance to go inside so our review is limited to the outside features of the building only. The hotel is located near a beautiful small park across the street and the Széchenyi Chain Bridge.

I can’t speak for the rooms or hotel itself, but we visited for afternoon tea and dinner. The afternoon tea was such a delight - the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. Everything was delicious. The china was beautiful. The seating was extremely cozy too. There was a pianist during our tea, which really just brought the entire experience together. I’d highly recommend visiting for tea

The best hotel, with the best location we’ve ever had. Amazing staff, and services. While it’s not the most inexpensive place we’ve ever stayed, for the cost, as my wife always says, “it was worth it at twice the price.”

Very beautiful hotel with a great spa and spacious rooms. The rooms were cleaned every day, the beds are quite comfortable. Amazing location with great restourants nearby. Friendly and helpful staff. The only downside is the pricey parking - 30e per night.

The hotel is good, rooms are big and confortable. The desk staff wasn’t very friendly though when we arrived, not terrible but not great either. The pool is nice and there is even a sauna and jacuzzi. Although the hotel is nice it’s definitely not a 5 star hotel

Absolutely amazing services. Whatever you ask they do anything what they can to solve that. The Hotel is clean, well equipped. The Spa is nex to the Hotel what ypu can achieve through a closed corridor. The Hotel's restaurant is brilliant day by day. Animators are available for children every day with different programs. We have been going there every year for 3 years so I can only recommend it.

Nice place, the food is great (both breakfast and lunch/dinner) and the spa is awesome. The bed was a bit hard and the pillows were uncomfortable but the rooms are spacious. The offered servicer are mediocre: the thai massage was ok but nothing special, the pedicure I got was also fine, altough i only got 25 minutes altough paid for 50min. Overall a great wellness hotel for relaxing.

Very well managed hotel, nice, quiet atmosphere with no rush and push yo guests. Very good place for rest, excelent cooking, wide choice of all meals, great coffee. Little bit busier during the weekends, better to be here within the workdays. Wide spread complimentary program, thus good prices too. Will get back for sure.
