Thermal hotels in Hungary

We were once recommended this hotel at the Kempinski Hotel Budapest and they did not disappoint me. I can only recommend because the services here are at the same or even higher level than where they recommended them. Just replace the soft mattresses with harder ones and you are the number 1 hotel in Hungary for me.

Stayed for 5 nights after 1600 km drive from England. This was the perfect rest before embarking on our Hungarian holiday. Real 5 star luxury and a top quality hotel. So far, the best in Europe that I've stayed in! There's been many. We will definitely be back. Thanks to all the staff at Spirit Hotel.

Lovely hotel, the amenities are fantastic. We got a room with double beds.. we just found the individual beds narrow and small and did not match the luxurious feel of the room. .Otherwise we were very happy with everything and will return.

I would like to ask the hotel staff if the owner of the gold jewelry powder box that I found in the thermal pool area and handed over to the reception on the evening of May 7, 2024 has been found. As a frequent guest, I must say that this hotel is declining. The room designs have been changed, and to be honest, I don’t like the new version. Moreover, the quality of dinner at this hotel has declined. Every time we visit, it seems to be getting worse. A fantastic hotel, great location if you don't mind walk for approx 3-3.50 km to get to the turist spots and restaurants. It is a very quite hotel with its own thermal bath situated in the ground floor. The breakfast was excellent. Can recommend this hotel.

Luxury feel, spacious rooms, convenient yet private-ish location... we had a great experience overall. The hotel is well connected by a bus service that runs quite frequently, 2 bus stops are within 7min walking distance. Great and relaxing stay, very close to the centre yet in the green and calm Margaret Islabd with nice walks around the Danube. Room was comfortable and quiet with all necessities, and the spa and pools area very nice indeed. Especially the hot waters I found to be very beneficial, feeling the effects immediately. The hotel is a bit out from city centre but very peaceful location in a large park surrounded by river Danube. the 26 bus goes by hotel every 15/20minutes right to city centre. Bus fare is very cheap less than £1 per journey download bus app and buy tickets jus scan your phone on bus on every journey

The family room was comfortable, modern and well equipped. Although the ventilation in the kids room was quite loud and could not be turned off. Breakfast and dinner were delicious, with a varied and high quality selection. The pool and spa area was spacious and pleasant, but it's good to know that their rules require you to remove your swimsuit to use the sauna and Turkish bath.

Everything was perfect, only small issue was weak wifi signal on the room 401. Otherwise personal was very friendly and in most cases comunicated in Czech language, so it is very helpful for visitors from Czechia who can not comunicates on German or English language

Great location, helpfull staff, nice selection and taste of evening dinner. Shame the parking is at extra fee and not included in the room rate. When you travel to Sarvar be prepared for lots of mosquitos. But there is Lidl just opposite hotel and near other shops like Rossmann where you can get sprays againts theese.

We were there as a family with young children so it’s not really appropriate. All people was watching us with hate even kids were just swimming, not being loud. It never happened similar to us. But the staff was super nice.

I can’t say so much about the spa area etc. The restaurant is good, nice choice for vegetarian as well. Big plus in the morning, oat, soy and coconut milk is available! The room could be bit more…modern.

This AquaPark is among the finest in the region. It is stunning and well-structured, ensuring safety and being suitable for children. There are numerous ways to have fun in the water. The slides are quite thrilling, yet they are entirely safe.

Came here on a Saturday and the experience was good, there’s a water park, thermal pool and sauna world (would recommend paying for this as soooo worth it and lots of variety)? Great place, it's clean and the water is good. The only minus that I have is the fact that I bought the tickets online and there is only one cash register which works with the online registration. If you pay there it goes faster.

A very nice aqua park, big and with many possibilities to relax. There are many pools with thermal water, fresh water, with ultrasonic waves, slides. Upstairs, inside the aqua park, place to eat. The entrance and the facilities you choose are paid only at the end. There is also a pool with cold and warm water, a salt room and a relaxation room.

A nice aquapark, similar to Nymphaea from Oradea (Romania). There are several pools, but not all are heated. You pay extra for the thermal bath & sauna. Food: fast-food at the first floor. Price for 2 adults & one six years old: 12.500 forints. Parking place in the area: 400 huf/hour.

I spent here one night and enjoyed the small but exellent spa. A small quiet place mostly with families. I liked the food and the service as well.

We spent one day in the spa area with my family. As I noticed, there are many facilities and programs for the guests. There was aqua-fitness twice a day (everyone could join) and we could enjoy relax room and sauna seance (for additional price). The latter was very professional and enjoyable. All in all, I have a really good feeling about this place.

Hotel infrastructure need some new investments. The swimming pool and spa are ok. Hotel stuff need to learn some english words.

I have only been in the restaurant. Food is just great, really good quality for the price. Most of the food comes in a big amount, mine was quite mediumish. The service was extremely fast, 2 main dishes in 10!! Minutes. Waiters and waitresses are kind but don't seem too happy. Overall...
