Thermal hotels in Hungary

We have been staying at the hotel for many years in a row. We were very pleased with the reconstruction of the SPA area. But I would like to point out a negative point: the centrifuge was not placed in the open access as it was before, but in the toilet. Some guests think it is possible to change clothes there, as a result, a queue of those who just need to wring out their swimsuit and those who need...

Live in Budapest, this is written more for tourists to Hévíz and the Ensana Thermal Aqua. Easy to access by public transport direct by Volan Bus from Budapest, or train from the Budapest Déli or south station in Buda, to Keszthely, then frequent buses to Hévíz (10 minutes). On foot from the bus station Ensana Thermal Aqua was easy to find, about 20 minute walk, use the central lake as your destination...

Not the first time in this hotel. Food, SPA, territory, cleanliness in the room - everything was at the highest level. The staff takes great care of the guests, which, unfortunately, cannot be said about the vacationers themselves.

Very good. We have been there many times. Thermal pools are new and very nice. The rooms are newly decorated and beautiful. Food and drinks are at a solid level. In the last two years, they have raised the level of accommodation. We are satisfied with the staff and cleanliness. The saunas are nice.

It’s now called Ensana Therma Aqua and has an amazing refurbished spa and rooms.It’s an all inclusive hotel. Tip:get a capuccino at the bar (€) as the one from the coffee machine is mediocre at best.

Great experience. One night stay. Just a stop on the ttip to Plitvice but what a great find. It was a nice stay even if we didn't take advantage of all that you offer. Maybe next time!

The family room was comfortable, modern and well equipped. Although the ventilation in the kids room was quite loud and could not be turned off. Breakfast and dinner were delicious, with a varied and high quality selection. The pool and spa area was spacious and pleasant, but it's good to know that their rules require you to remove your swimsuit to use the sauna and Turkish bath.

This is a cool, well-designed, modern, comfortable, excellent-value hotel with superb spa facilities - multiple warm water pools, slides, steam rooms, saunas ...

A wonderful place to relax and warm up in the thermal pools during winter, when it’s snowy and freezing outside. It’s a cozy and peaceful spot where everything feels calm and pleasant. There are many different baths and pools, as well as a small water park, jacuzzi, and more.

Best hotel in Hungary. In and outdoor thermal baths. Slide and pool park for kids. Outside thermal baths in large park with special pool for children.

Sorry for the lack of pictures, this is only the entrance. I love this place i have such fond childhood memories of it! The climate is so warm and nice, the plants are beautiful and dreamy creating a lovely atmosphere. The pools are great and the slides are very fun as well. This place us definitely worth the price, you could easily spend a fun afternoon here :)

We came here from Romania, so comparing with what you can find in our country it is perfect. It was clean enough, different types of pools inside for kids and adults also.

This AquaPark is among the finest in the region. It is stunning and well-structured, ensuring safety and being suitable for children. There are numerous ways to have fun in the water. The slides are quite thrilling, yet they are entirely safe.

Came here on a Saturday and the experience was good, there’s a water park, thermal pool and sauna world (would recommend paying for this as soooo worth it and lots of variety)? The thermal pools were good, about 6 and a variety of temperatures and the water park had some good pools, overall a good way to spend the day. Food and drinks options not too bad either (mix of fast food and alcohol)

We come here very often. Nice thermal pools. Sauna world is great: steam room, Finn sauna, Barack sauna (60 degrees, very nice inside). Salt chamber is there as well.

This hotel supposedly is a 4 star superior hotel, but I would give it hardly 3 stars. We arrived on a Monday and stayed till Friday. Tuesday late afternoon I informed reception that our room was not cleaned. They sent someone who emptied the 2 bins in the room and - because I asked her - made up the beds. The other days only the bins were emptied. Beds were never made up, bathroom was never cleaned...

Everything is very nice. The hotel is beautifully decorated, rooms are beautiful and clean. The spa is spacious and well-designed. Food is delicious! We visited the hotel several times. It is gradually being renovated, from the new interiors of the rooms, the restaurant to the new sunbeds by the pools. The service in the restaurant has also improved. The chefs deserve an award as the cuisine is excellent. Excellent Hotel close to many trails, close to Budapest and several historical sites. Has pools, wellness, and spa, and serves solid food in a beautiful location. Well worth a visit.

The overall experience in your hotel was good. The rooms are nice. The spa area aswell. I received 2 absolute nogo during my stay. Both are related to the restaurant. 1. the dinner is open until 10pm but some colleagues started to cover/close the buffet area already at 8:30 pm while people were still eating. Really weak value for money, definitely not a 4-star accommodation. They change towels only every third day, so you have to visit the spa three times with the same towel (quite unhygienic). We stayed for 6 nights, during which the room wasn’t properly cleaned. The room wasn’t hovered, the bathroom floor wasn’t swept neither washed. The hotel is mediocre, and the 4-star is about 2-star more than it deserves. The building is quite in a bad shape, pieces of the wall came off inside the rooms. We went to SPA with kids in December, no staying. Overal, in winter it us a place for adults to chill, but kids were also playing inside in Jungle area. We enjoyed eventually, though it was hard to orient at first, at register they give the chip with assigned locker, not that you xan chose. The restaurants are good to eat.

Very modern Thermal & Spa, with many pools with water between 35 and 38 degrees. You have 2 restaurants and a bar inside. The price is cheap, 5250 Huf. Recommend it for weekend getaway with family of friends.

2nd year in a row at this property. We really enjoyed staying here... nice walk to centre of town or to the thermal lake of Heviz, rooms are comfortable (a bit dated) and breakfast/dinner also nice. I enjoy the pool and the thermal spa area the most.. its quiet with an older clientele. There is a fee for parking your car.

The hotel is a bit out from city centre but very peaceful location in a large park surrounded by river Danube. the 26 bus goes by hotel every 15/20minutes right to city centre. Bus fare is very cheap less than £1 per journey download bus app and buy tickets jus scan your phone on bus on every journey

Thermal baths, outside and inside, where everyone will enjoy an relax. If you book at least one night to an apartman in the city, you will have 20% discount at the daily ticket entrance. YOU SHOULD KNOW THAT YOU CAN NOT LEAVE THE PLACE (BATH, EAT, EVERYTHING THERE).

I traveled all over the world but this was the perfect hotel! Just one problem, the bathroom was very small. The staff was fast, friednly and offer a perfect service!
