Nearly everything was exceptional. The food, the rooms and even the service.
The only thing exception was, on Shabbat, around 12 in the afternoon, housecleaning came around to clean the room so we went out but my husband left his cap in the room. When we came back the cap was no where to be found. The room was nice and clean though.
In other words, don’t trust the cleaners and when you leave the room don’t leave your valuables behind.
When I spoke to the manager about it, she simply said “You can cancel your reservation and go to another hotel - that’s all I can offer.”
This kind of attitude and lack of basic cleanliness is completely unacceptable, especially for a hotel that claims to be 5 stars. A very disappointing experience. I would not recommend this hotel at all.
Breakfast is a must.
The other restaurants are also very good.
The large heated swimming pool is serious plus opened until 9 pm
It was pouring rain, and I ended up walking for hours to find a place to pray. To my shock, I later discovered that the hotel actually does have a Bet Knesset, but the staff either didn’t know or didn’t care to inform me.
This lack of basic communication and consideration is unacceptable for a hotel that charges such a premium price. It left me feeling stressed, soaked, and deeply dissatisfied. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for thoughtful service or attention to detail
I will always come back to this hotel in Jerusalem.
The breakfast spread was a culinary delight, featuring a real honeycomb pancake/waffle station, made-to-order omelets, and an array of other mouthwatering options. To top it off, the cappuccino and latte station added a touch of luxury to each morning.
Combine this with the friendly staff and excellent Shabbat meals, and you have a hotel experience that's simply unbeatable. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Jerusalem.
On the downside, it’s more suited to families, very busy and loud and the pool was chaotic. Also, the spa staff were a bit unhelpful so we didn’t bother. Felt a little over priced compared to the quality of the other places we stayed at during our visit to Israel which cost less.
