Aemilia Hotel Bologna

We stayed here as "day" guests as we arrived in Bologna at 8.45am and our onward flight wasn't until 9.30pm.
Booking was smooth and easy and cost €80 for the room from 10am until 6pm. Even though we were early they allowed us store our cases and get breakfast in their restaurant at a cost of €10 each. The choice was a nice mix of the usual continental breakfast items, including hams and cheeses, fresh bread, pastries and some eggs and bacon, with fresh fruit juices too. The hotel itself is very modern, and very clean with a nice feel to it. The receptionist was very helpful and pleasant to deal with.
The room was ready early and they came up to get us from the lounge.
Our room was very nice and in line with the rest of the hotel being modern, spacious and very tastefully decorated. The bed was large and very comfortable.
We had a few hours to look around Bologna and the main sights were only a 20min walk away.
I have nothing negative to say about the hotel or it's staff, and the best compliment I can give it is that if we come back to Bologna I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Really cute boutique hotel located very convenient to lots of restaurants and facilities. Rooms are clean and adequately stocked. The best part is the staff who are extremely welcoming, accommodating, friendly and make you feel at home. The breakfast option is excellent - do take advantage!

Very nice modern hotel in a convenient and quiet location

We stayed at this fantastic hotel for 3 nights in April. It is a great base for exploring Bologna and the surrounding areas. Our room on the top floor was very comfortable and well-equipped with a great view of the city. The breakfast buffet was excellent with lots of choice. We also had an evening meal which was delicious. All the staff were very friendly and welcoming. We would highly recommend this hotel and will stay again the next time we're in Bologna! I stayed in this hotel for one whole week to attend a summer school at the University of Bologna. It was quiet and comfortable. The room is spacious, clean, and bright (big windows). The shower and toilet are also very spacious. They have a rooftop ideal for viewing the sunset. There are many options for breakfast. I enjoyed having basmati rice, scrambled eggs, smoked ham, and bacon with their multivitamin juice. Their dinner menu is simple, delicious (a little salty). The staff is friendly and accommodating. I ordered takeout several times and they sent the food to my room. Highly recommended.

Very nice clean rooms. Comfortable beds. Polite staff. Restaurant in the building for convenience. We were staying here on the recommendation of a friend. We were happy with the room.

Easy walking (flat) into old town, about 10 minutes. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Wait staff in dining room were excellent, especially zhenni. Aperitivo from 5pm in bar, drinks reasonably priced. Snacks provided with drinks were great, varied day to day. Rooftop area was comfortable and excellent views, great spot for catching sunset.
Menu and food in dining room for dinner were excellent. Food was amazing. Would definitely return and highly recommend.

Great holiday. The location is excellent, 10 minutes walk from the center, with parking available. The room was wonderful, with all the amenities, super technology, huge TV with the ability to stream from your phone. Available gym, small but complete. Beautiful upper terrace, great for an aperitif. Finally, the breakfast is truly excellent, everything is included, the salty stuff is really high quality, and all the young and very kind staff, truly unforgettable cordiality. A beautiful hotel, sophisticated, well furnished and tasteful. I will definitely be back!
