Thank you for a wonderful stay. Really nice employees and service. Singing my birthday song last night. Fabulous view over the fireworks. Nice clean historical rooms. And wonderful breakfast. We look forward coming back next weekend🎈🇮🇹🍷

If you can live without having WiFi, this was a great boutique hotel. However, i was working remotely during my trip to Italy and my room had terrible, terrible WiFi, which was sometimes non-existent. The hotel staff suggested that I work in the library/living room area where the WiFi was better. I had to work during the late night due to time zone changes, which made it difficult to work in a public place, especially for zoom calls. One evening when I was trying to work in the library/living room area, the music was playing loudly, another guest was having their dinner, and shockingly, hotel staff set up an ironing board so another guest could use it to iron her clothes. Not at all a conducive work space and I found it strange that this hotel has not been able to figure out how to get working WiFi to all of the rooms.
With all of that said, location was fantastic, it was very clean, the staff was super kind and friendly, the beds were comfortable, and the breakfast was great. If not for my frustration with the WiFi, I would have given it 5 stars.

At first sight this hotel seemed the ideal Boutique Hotel I had looked searched for and booked. However, unlike the reception and ground floor lounge areas, our 'superior' room was anything but 'superior'. It was bland lacking any of the colour, decoration, pictures or style which gave the reception area the Boutique Hotel feel - our room did not feel in anyway Boutique! The double bed was two singles pushed together with a significant gap between the mattresses and which we had to tie together with a bath robe belt to stop them moving apart! The room was small, with one chair at a table which you could not sit at and still be able to walk round the bed. In addition, the roof top terrace (which does have an excellent city view and would be a lovely place for residents to chill and relax) is now a Bar / Bistro in the evening. During the day it is open to residents to use, although does give the feeling of sitting in an empty or closed bar! In the evenings the Bar is open to non residents and whilst residents are welcome (if they can get a table) residents are also charged the minimum charge of 15 euro per person, per first drink. So as a resident, who may want to sit and relax after a long day sight seeing, that's 15 euro for even a soft drink! The Jacuzzi on the terrace is only used by residents, but it seems a little odd to use the Jacuzzi along side the others in the bar / bistro who have clearly clearly paid for an evening out! If your room is lucky to have your own balcony, you will also share the loud music being pumped from the Bistro. Very disappointed all round.

We had a wonderful 9-day stay here. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. The rooms clean and updated. The rooftop lounge was lovely -- a quiet respite during the day, coming alive evenings. The breakfast buffet was extensive and yummy -- delicious creamy eggs, thin-sliced small zucchini, local salumi and prosciutto...and a dessert table! It's not far from the center and all the sights, but we loved the immediate neighborhood too -- our favorite is the Salumeria La Bottega that has two small tables if you want to eat-in, the Sorbetteria Castiglione, and Vagh in Ufezzi run by a sweet husband-wife team (reservations a must here). We'll be back Bologna...and Hotel Touring!

parking outside the hotel itself/ getting there by car was a little tricky, but the staff was absolutely lovely, all smiles, so helpful, talkative and help reccomend us places to eat. The rooms are good, not mind-blowing but a great bathroom (if you ignore that the bathroom door doesnt have a lock which we found strange) and functional "main room" great aircon which felt perfect after a long day in a warm country. Loved all the staff, drinks were good.

We stayed in a junior suite in the newly renovated building and it was beautiful! Kind sized bed, very comfy. Large tub/shower combo. Beautifully decorated. Friendly bilingual staff. Large breakfast selection. 5 min walk to Piazza Maggiore. Very quite location. Small but lovely roof top terrace ( there is a fee to go the terrace and must reserve a table)

We stayed two nights with our service dog. The staff were extremely attentive and friendly. We were upgraded to a room with direct access to the street to make it easier for our Annie to go out when needed. They even made a bed and had bowls for food and water for her stay. The roof top bar was very nice with great views of the city and hills. Parking was secure and easy to access although a little tight to get into. When we return to Bologna we will check here for availability first.

Beautiful, idyllic and peaceful hotel in an ideal location next to centre of town. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful and there was a real personal feel to how the hotel was run, the room was spacious, clean and well-equipped, and we loved the little ground floor courtyard, our lovely in-room balcony as well as the communal terrace which had unparalleled views of the city’s red roofs and the rolling hills beyond. We will definitely be back. Thank you for a memorable stay!
