Reviews
Even if there were some negative things one must say, that the location of the Hotel is great!
As well please take into consideration that the party on the rooftop is every day.
So if you would like to go to the nap early you should ask for the lower floors.
But...on the lower floors you will hear always the trum that is passing every 10 mins and the cleaners that laughing and taking every time near your room.
The position of the hotel is amazing.
Near the Duomo and the metro.
You will find a lot of bar, grocery shop around
The breakfast is simple amazing.
The food was very nice, fresh and a lot of choice.
Really nice breakfast.
It has been a pleasure staying here.
Breakfast was underwhelming; the pastries were stale, and the coffee left much to be desired. When I ordered an Americano, it was served in an extremely hot metal container, making it difficult to pour without burning my fingers. A proper coffee cup would’ve made a big difference.
Last night we visited the rooftop bar, where we encountered issues with service. A young server, who seemed inexperienced, struggled with our order, and for drinks priced at €20, I expected a more professional and attentive experience.
When I checked out, the front desk agent asked about my stay, and I mentioned the loud hallway music early in the morning. His only response was a polite “thank you for your feedback,” with no further attempt to address my concerns. It was disappointing to see a lack of training in handling guest feedback, especially from someone checking out visibly frustrated.
The location is fantastic, but for me, a restful stay is essential to fully enjoy a destination. Thankfully, I only booked one night here.
We chose this hotel solely for its location and only saw the reviews afterward. Initially, I was worried because many of the reviews were quite negative.
After staying here for five days, I find those reviews puzzling. Our experience was very positive. The service was exceptional, and all the staff were extremely friendly. There was a small queue at check-in, but that was expected since we arrived during peak season. Although our room wasn't ready immediately, it was prepared within 10 minutes. The hotel also has a convenient partnership with a nearby parking facility, just a few minutes' walk away, though it's a bit pricey at €25 per day.
The rooms felt slightly dated but were perfectly adequate for our needs, with all the essential amenities. Note: if you get an internally facing room, the view is awful. Also, the hotel does not provide an iron, only a steamer, which we found unusual. The steamer wasn't effective for ironing trousers or linen shirts, so we ended up buying a €30 mini iron, as the hotel’s ironing services were extremely expensive (e.g., €27 to press one dress).
The rooftop bar is lovely, but reservations are required. There is a waiting area where you can still order drinks, which we actually preferred.
Breakfast offered a decent variety, including halal options like turkey slices and chicken sausages. Once again, the service was exceptional.
Overall, our experience was great, and the negative reviews seem unfounded based on what we encountered.
Particular mention to superb reception staff who quite literally couldn't do enough to help - absolutely brilliant.
Issue with the air conditioner has us asking constantly for someone to come and look at it. July heat in Milan is no joke. Apparently they had central controlling which is ridiculous for summer time. A 25 degree temperature in a room is not good enough. It was also ‘fixed’ apparently.
We asked for a hand steamer which was not delivered to us upon return to our room later.
No toilet paper was given either. I do not understand why a hotel would not provide toilet paper.
Next, housekeeping was not done. Of course after a long day of touring we’d expect to get to our room 12 hours after leaving to have the room attended to. Bed was unmade, no new towels given. I had to make a call to reception to be abruptly told ‘yes we can arrange that’. People turned up around 9:45pm, almost 30 minutes later asking if we wanted house keeping. Well no, not that late while we were in the room.
I have honestly never had to call reception as much as I did at this hotel. Liked the styling. Breakfast was amazing. But wouldn’t go there again.
