**Review:**

We chose this hotel solely for its location and only saw the reviews afterward. Initially, I was worried because many of the reviews were quite negative.

After staying here for five days, I find those reviews puzzling. Our experience was very positive. The service was exceptional, and all the staff were extremely friendly. There was a small queue at check-in, but that was expected since we arrived during peak season. Although our room wasn't ready immediately, it was prepared within 10 minutes. The hotel also has a convenient partnership with a nearby parking facility, just a few minutes' walk away, though it's a bit pricey at €25 per day.

The rooms felt slightly dated but were perfectly adequate for our needs, with all the essential amenities. Note: if you get an internally facing room, the view is awful. Also, the hotel does not provide an iron, only a steamer, which we found unusual. The steamer wasn't effective for ironing trousers or linen shirts, so we ended up buying a €30 mini iron, as the hotel’s ironing services were extremely expensive (e.g., €27 to press one dress).

The rooftop bar is lovely, but reservations are required. There is a waiting area where you can still order drinks, which we actually preferred.

Breakfast offered a decent variety, including halal options like turkey slices and chicken sausages. Once again, the service was exceptional.

Overall, our experience was great, and the negative reviews seem unfounded based on what we encountered.

Excellent hotel - beautiful inside, great central location with public transport stops right outside. Great bar restaurant on top floor with city views.

Particular mention to superb reception staff who quite literally couldn't do enough to help - absolutely brilliant.

This hotel is half refurbished, if you’re not lucky you’ll end up in an hold room. The most disappointing thing is how they treat you when you walk back in the hotel over night: the doors are locked and there is a bodyguard at the entrance, they will ask you many questions like if you are waking in a police station. I didn’t feel comfortable with this process as this never happened to me in any hotel around the world!

Location was excellent, but that was about it.
Issue with the air conditioner has us asking constantly for someone to come and look at it. July heat in Milan is no joke. Apparently they had central controlling which is ridiculous for summer time. A 25 degree temperature in a room is not good enough. It was also ‘fixed’ apparently.
We asked for a hand steamer which was not delivered to us upon return to our room later.
No toilet paper was given either. I do not understand why a hotel would not provide toilet paper.
Next, housekeeping was not done. Of course after a long day of touring we’d expect to get to our room 12 hours after leaving to have the room attended to. Bed was unmade, no new towels given. I had to make a call to reception to be abruptly told ‘yes we can arrange that’. People turned up around 9:45pm, almost 30 minutes later asking if we wanted house keeping. Well no, not that late while we were in the room.

I have honestly never had to call reception as much as I did at this hotel. Liked the styling. Breakfast was amazing. But wouldn’t go there again.

I don’t recommend the classic rooms. Very old and not clean at all. The lighting was not working. Wifi was horrible. The AC was very very hot the weather outside was cooler than the room, and we can’t open the windows because its very noisy, so we could not sleep well. If you’re planning to come with your own car then parking is challenging. The rooms are very expensive compared with all these issues. The only good thing is location. I also lost one of my belongings and I contacted them in an hour, and they told me they didn’t found it while I’m pretty sure I forgot it in the room :).

This hotel has lot all its glory. Very old, tiny rooms. No working AC. Tiny bathroom with no room to move. Elevators which are either out of order or take for ever. Lot is things broken, towels which smell of vinegar. For 300€ a night really really not worth it. I would say avoid this hotel if possible. Yes the roof top has a great view but you can visit that while sleeping in a nice hotel.

The hotel is very well located, staff really nice, rooms comfortable and spacious.
Breakfast is amazing, very well sorted and excellent quality.
Bed was not that comfortable, mattress and pillow could be better.
The hotel has a beautiful rooftop with great views but we couldn’t use it as we were told no table was available… didn’t seem to be the case so not sure why they would not let us in, probably because we were not dressed for the occasion…

My husband book a room for 4 adult and two kids but unfortunately for some reason when we came to this hotel they said that they can only accommodate the 4 adult and the kids are not included. My husband ask for consideration if we can just add for a fee for my two kids 2yrs and 6 yrs old.. but they refuse it and they were saying they have a company policy and it’s gonna be their lost and they can only accommodate 2 person per room. I talk to the receptionist (Mark), I was telling him that it doesn’t make sense for us to book another room because we are a family and we are gonna sleep together, but he just ignore that and we ended up adding another room (which we never use it.)I also mentioned to Mark at the time of our checkout that the room added was never use but he just look at me and go on charging us. Where is the hospitality with the heart for this kind of service.

I was kind of disappointed with this hotel. It’s called 4 star and kind of expensive for the amenities it offers. Check the list of things to consider before you book

1. Hotel reception controls the temperature of the rooms. I have never heard anything like that anywhere in the world. I have travelled lots of countries and continents. I woke up in the middle of the night being hot. It was 23 degrees C that day. Reception said that they can turn off of the heat of my room but they can’t turn on A/C since they are in winter. Technically spring started on March 20th. It’s a huge red flag. Give the control to people who sleeps in the rooms.

2. This hotel has rooftop bar which plays music until 2 am over the weekends. If you are on the floor 8/9 then you won’t be able to sleep quietly. We were on floor 9 originally and changed to floor 8 but still there was noise.

3. Being a 4 star hotel, they do not even offer hair conditioner so bring your own.

Good: Breakfast was good, service was nice.. both in room and at the reception. Location is in the center.

They need to give the temperature control of the individual rooms to the people who live inside.
I would look for the other options for this price range next time.

The location for the hotel is excellent. The Duomo is about 5-6 minutes walking. Breakfast was really good and very varied options although it was mostly full of people. The roof restaurant is very nice, we went up for some drinks and had a really nice time watching the sunset from the top.

The rooms were clean and comfortable. Our only complaint is that the shower wouldn't drain properly and it was pretty narrow which made it a bit uncomfortable.
