Hotel Principe di Villafranca

The hotel staff met all our needs. The walk to the street market was a treat. Be wary of the horse rides agree to a price before hand and have the precise money ready before the trip starts.
Great breakfast. Easy to walk to nearby restaurants and shops.
In a wonderful location.
Direct walks (10-20min) to major sites.
Very helpful staff.
Very quiet peaceful hotel. Air conditioner worked great, friendly staff, bathroom was small but that was it. Enjoyed my stay. Thanks
In a dirty area of town, but then again Palermo is a very dirty city other than the historical area. Was quite shocking!
The room was super clean , they do not provide iron in the room and rooms are not sound proofed so all night the pipes and other room’s conversation was heard.

They did not jave the air conditioning on when we got to our room and the temperature was not satisfactory. They wanted us to remove the key card that controls the air at the front desk, which I did not appreciate
Two night stay
We stayed for two nights. The first night, the bed was very comfortable, but the restaurant upstairs was loud until 1 a.m. On the second night, we changed rooms—the bed was very hard, but at least it was quiet. The front desk staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was just okay at best, but the rooftop views while eating were beautiful.
Great hotel
Friendly staff, nice breakfast and a fantastic view of the city from the rooftop terrace.
This is my second stay at this hotel. I prefer a room away from Via Roma, because the streetnoise is loud. Mattresses are a bit hard.
I will stay here again next time i'm in Palermo.
Centrally located with excellent view/ balcony. However, extremely noisy all night long with uncomfortable bed left me sleep deprived. The mini fridge wasn’t working and I reported it on first day but it never was repaired or replaced. Shower is approx 3ft x 3ft, very tiny, luckily I’m a small lady, larger people would have a difficult time. I will not stay here again.
There is no elevator on the first floor. Only one small elevator for the whole building. Guests have to carry luggage up one flight of stairs to access elevator. No bellman to help you either.
Comfortable and clean room, good location in the city center and near train station, good breakfast with the best view in the city.

Not easy to find the hotel entrance. Suggestion to have more obvious sign for traveler. The hotel maintenance can be better.
A very cost-effective hotel with a comfortable environment, high service quality, complete facilities, and a variety of breakfast options. There is an exclusive parking lot. Although it is unattended, there are surveillance cameras. It will be very comfortable to walk in the yard in the morning or evening. It is 6.5KM from the city and 1.1KM from the nearest train station, making it suitable for self...
Very good clean friendly staff location parking always full but luckily there is another one close by
A good hotel with comfortable rooms, a beautiful garden, moderate prices, super breakfast! I come back often and find helpful and kind people at the reception.
Excellent in all respects (cleanliness, service, calm,...) Just one negative point: very far from the city center (booked knowingly).
The place is very remote and the surrounding environment is average. The strange thing is that it ranked very high on Ctrip. I was misled by Ctrip's ranking and left after staying for one day. After long negotiations, there was no refund!

Massimo Plaza Hotel

Gorgeous room with friendly, attentive staff. Can't praise enough the wonderful people who work here. Currently, breakfast is included & is delicious. The hotel is well-located in the midst of many points of interests & restaurants. We had a wonderful time.
The Massimo Hotel is located near many of the historical sites as well as the local markets. The room is a good size, but the “double” bed we had was very uncomfortable. It was also very loud inside since our room was located along the busy street. They offer a choice of sweet or savory for breakfast in your room, which was appreciated. If you have problems with stairs, beware that to enter the hotel...
Beautiful elegant well located in the heart of old town Palermo. Staff amazing very attentive and the rooms have great facilities. Would recommend for the perfect stay.
Wonderful staff, charming and helpful! Great location.
Cosy boutique hotel in the heart of Naples. No restaurant. Breakfast in the bar in own room. Located on a street with restricted tree traffic, but staff will park your car in paying car park
Beautiful hotel directly across from Teatro Massimo and walking distance to lots of shops and restaurants. Room was beautiful and clean, bathroom was roomy and had a big shower. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. One of our favorite hotel stays while traveling 2 weeks through Europe!

Frindly staff but to be honest, I have no idea why this hotel has four Stars. The interiour is old, not very clean and sometimes broken. The hotel is directly located to a main road (loud), the surrunding is not beautfuly and it takes more than a 30 minutes walk to the old town/city Center.
Helpful friendly staff and clean if basic rooms. Reasonably priced but it is next to a very busy motorway. That said it is still pretty close to the centre of town and only a €40 taxi to the airport.
Room are clean and very comfortable, service is good and also breakfast with lots of choice. The position is good to reach the center and is well connected with bus.

Pleasant one night stay in this Best Western . It’s convenient to Palermo Lolli train station for airport … ten minute walk and in a nice area . Nice common area on ground floor and large breakfast room . The shower was modern and was most welcome after a long trip from Taormina that day . Reception was very pleasant and helpful . Would stay here again .
Heritage hotel
Excellent location near many restaurants and cultural sites. Neighborhood is quiet.
No AC until May. Today's high is 25C
It's okay. It's a bit like a small hotel with a restaurant. If you are on a business trip and have a low budget, you can choose this hotel. It has basic facilities.
Hygiene: OK, not particularly clean
Facilities: Generally a bit old
Service: Average
The room is a bit small but clean, the facilities are acceptable, and the location is not far from the train station and the theater, which is quite convenient.
Good treatment and very friendly
Nice and spacious room, friendly staff, location good, parking on-site

This is a small hotel in an excellent location. You can easily walk to many famous locations. The hotel is immaculate and the staff are amazing. We paid extra for the daily breakfast service and we were extremely satisfied with the quality and selection of items. We would definitely stay here again.
So, this hotel has some definite pluses and minuses.
The pluses: The room is clean and large. The wifi is good. The location is central. There's a decent shower. Front desk staff really tries.
The minuses: The thermostat doesn't actually do anything (my room was rather warm). The location is VERY loud at night -- bring earplugs or noise cancelling headphones. I got woken up by drunk screaming arguments...
The location is great as it is close to the city centre but overall it is an ordinary hotel. Our room had a particular strong smell that wasn’t nice and it was quite dark as the windows were opening to an internal space. We didn’t try breakfast there but instead went to nearby coffee bars.
There wasn’t any particular service that makes it special and they don’t have free parking so we had to take our...
Hotel room was spacious especially for European standards and the bed was comfortable. We had an issue with hot water which was resolved while we were there but we did have to take 1 night of cold showers.
Location is very very walkable.
Beautiful Boutique Hotel. Great Location. Front desk, especially Valentina was very helpful and courteous. Breakfast buffet was delicious and Rosy (our server) was the BEST!! The only issue was our room faced the street and it could get loud into the early morning hours.
Decent stay at the P da L.
Front desk service and location was perfect.
AC, internet and TV worked well.
Housekeeping could have been better. Body wash was not replaced twice!
Breakfast was delicious.
Rooms were smaller but comfortable.

Granted that I have seen it on TV and my review is for the initiative. Really commendable!
The gulet is beautiful, spacious and comfortable, the crew, Angelo Guglielmo Gerardo and Eleonora are serious qualified and helpful professionals with whom we spent a wonderful holiday that we will not easily forget. Thank you!
Unforgettable week. Superlatives Angelo, Guglielmo, Eleonora and Gerardo of the staff. One thing that makes holidays beautiful is when you forget what day it is. This is exactly what happened to us on the Tersane IV.
The TV programs four hotels and four restaurants are only fiction. All fake.
I state that I am writing the review even though I have never been there, but based only on the TV program "4 Hotel".
I would just like to congratulate the owner; because he really seems like an exquisite person. A real gentleman, bravo! If I ever return to Palermo for other holidays, it will surely be your boat that I will choose to stay overnight. I hope .. see you soon!

Rooms need renovation, reception quick and efficient, location correct but near harbour. Perfect view over port from restaurant
Though the hotel is situated near the port, it’s very loud even in the night.
The hotel room was very big but not that many furniture items there. And not very well equipped.
The staff was very friendly and the service was very good, but the breakfast hasn’t raised up to the expectations and the hotel deserves at most a 3 star rating
Nice hotel with good roomy rooms. The view was to the new port which was okay, but not as beautiful. Excellent breakfast and service.
Enjoyed a very nice stay at the Ibis, was provided a brand new renovated room. Nice views over the harbor, covetable and spacious - wry modern feel! Service staff were all excellent providing great helpful tips and service. Breakfast on level 7 was nice with plenty of options.
All good except for the staff at breakfast. Other than 1 server….unfriendly and rude.
Helped myself to gluten free products in a drawer and got scolded for it! But the morning before the other server said to help myself.
Perfect place to stay in Palermo historical center. Close to most attractions. Staff very friendly and nice. Room spacious and clean. Good breakfast. Recommended

Wonderful Villa with famous history,The staff very welcome and very helpful,Very delicious food from super chef Paulo in their restaurant .
Amazing garden with dancing fountain.
Wonderful restored historic home. Warm friendly service and very good food.
Very nice hotel with good service. Short savory breakfast.
Phenomenal facilities, offering a pleasant stay.
I had the opportunity to stay in Palermo at the wonderful luxury hotel "Villa del Gattopardo." The location is breathtaking, a historic villa and an absolute delight. The menu is meticulously curated, with delicate and refined dishes that pay great attention to guests' dietary intolerances. The breakfast is excellent, featuring local products, with delicious cakes and pastries prepared by the chef...
Wonderful boutique hotel away from Palermo's center. The rooms are just gorgeous, staff is very service minded and the breakfast and dinner are great. The only downside is that you got to rely on the hotel's shuttle or take taxi to get to the city center...
The environment of the hotel was very pleasant. There were not many guests and the large garden was impressive, but it was uncomfortable that it was located somewhat far from the city. Breakfast was very common and not impressive, but the kindness of the hotel staff left a very good impression.

Great spot to stay. The staff were incredible and extremely helpful. Good breakfast also. Would recommend without hesitation.
More than expected. The room is clean, fancy and functional, breakfast is delicious, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!
Rooms were clean & roomy; service was impeccable! Everyone from ladies at front desk to all other staff were very kind, assisted w transportation, recommendations…etc.
Breakfast was lovely and whatever staff could do to accommodate your needs were ,et as best as possible.
Location is great & safe area. Access to shopping, dinning, & taxi transport.
Only draw back…no elevator. You must climb up...
What an amazing boutique hotel! We were treated like royalty from the moment we stepped inside until we left. The staff go above and beyond to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Just one of the little touches was when we arrived back from a day out in a very hot condition we were asked if we would like a granita. The wonderful receptionist then delivered two delicious complimentary...
This is a charming boutique hotel, very centrally located and with huge, comfortable and beautifully decorated rooms. All the staff were friendly, helpful and hugely welcoming. The breakfast room is small and your time & options need to be pre-booked but the choice was fantastic and the food excellent - certainly all we needed. Would highly recommend for a city break in Palermo.
Charming boutique hotel, the sweetest staff, and great location. Breakfast was so good too! Loved this place.
