Hotel Indipendenza

POINTS POSITIFS : pour cet établissement: le 1er point l'accueil était top, le réceptionniste a même pris le temps de nous expliquer sur un plan de la ville, les endroits qu'il fallait visiter et nous a noté les lignes de bus à prendre. 2ème le lit est assez confortable avec de bons coussins. 3ème point : l'hôtel est placé derrière la gare ce qui est très pratique. POINTS NEGATIFS : Les murs sont en cartons, nous étions situé juste a coté de la réception et l'on entendait vraiment tous ce qu'il se passait. La porte de la chambre avait du mal à ce fermée, il y a du jour entre la porte et le mur ce qui est très désagréable, la porte fenêtre qui donne sur la terrasse ne se ferme pas correctement au niveau du bas ( il faut forcé avec le pied et cela ne fonctionne pas toujours ), la poignée du volet est cassée ce qui est problématique pour le crocher, au niveau de la salle de bain le pommeau de douche fuit beaucoup, le ballon au dessus des toilette fuit, le loquet pour fermer à clé ne fonctionne pas. Un bon coup de peinture devrait être passer dans toute la chambre car trace sur les murs et les plaintes. Nous avons été réveillé à 5h15 du matin à cause d'une alarme très aigu qui sonnait au niveau de la réception ( il n'y a personne la nuit ) heureusement au bout de 1h30 un client de l'hôtel est intervenu pour essayer de l'arrêter cela était vraiment insupportable! Le prix est vraiment trop chère pour cette chambre, vraiment très déçu car il est impossible de ce reposer dans cette endroit!

By far the smallest room I have stayed. It must be 3.5x2.5m. We booked a double bed, and it was 2 ranches pushed together…….There was mould in the room and the ceiling in the bathroom. Bathroom soap dispenser was broken so we had to buy our own soap. The hairdryer does not dry anything. Unless you want to be drying your hair 30-60 min. The towels are so thin, they look like a bed sheet. Honestly, if I could put minus stars, I would. Worst experience ever. We wanted to leave from the first 10 min. €180 for 3 nights for a box room.

They mentioned seprate building which is 300m away from main building ITS A LIE!! IT MORE THAN 700M AWAY!!
2: the room on 4th floor with tiny stair case and small elevator..IF U HAVE KIDS DO NOT USE ELEVATOR AND STAIRS ARE SCARY AS THEY ARE ALOTTT OF STAIRS..
3:They are not helpful . I booked room for 3 nights and When I went to see the room it was not what we expected. My husband has medical condition and cannot take stairs and elevators and closed rooms he is paranoid off. I asked hotel to reimburse atleast partial amount if not full as we Did not use the room they did not refunded even a penny. I called them so many times and no resolution. I gave up.
All I can say Stay away you can find better places to stay than this. As they have no courtesy to help a family and just keep the free money of the room we did not even stay in!!
FAMILIES PLEASE STAY AWAY THEY ARE SCAMMERS!!

BLACK MOLD - do not stay here. When my cousin and I arrived at this hotel we were told that we’d booked a room that wasn’t inside the hotels main building. This room was in an apartment building that was a ten minute walk away. Our booking information didn’t say anything about this. There were also a couple other guests that had this happen to them while we were there. This meant that there was not 24 hour security, no rooftop patio access and meant an extra ten minute walk after we’d paid for a taxi to take us and our bags to the hotel. The staff offered to take out bags over to our room, but they didn’t offer to lock them up in a storage room or tag the bags so that they didn’t get lost. There were several other bags sitting there and I felt nervous that ours could get lost or stolen. When I expressed this they made fun of us for being “paranoid” and kept laughing at us. Eventually they tagged our bags, but it was an awful interaction. Check in for the offsite room was also an hour later than specified for the rooms onsite, so we had to wait in a cafe nearby for a longer period of time. When we finally got into the room it had a terrible smell. I checked the washroom and it was covered in black mold. When we emailed the staff they told us that it wasn’t block mold but just the colour of the black tile. The mold was covering the ceiling, was all over the white grout lines and tile. We asked them to switch us to a new room and reiterated that it was in fact black mold (I own a construction company and have dealt with black mold several times. I did no mistake the colour of the black tile like they inferred). They refused to switch us to a new room as they were fully book and didn’t offer to find us a new hotel nearby. As it was a weekend in Rome, everything was booked up and we were forced to stay in a room that caused both my cousin and I health issues. We both woke up with severe allergies and our bags and clothes started to smell like mold. When my cousin filed her complaint with the site we booked this hotel through, the owner of the hotel called her and yelled at her over the phone, saying that we just complained to get out money back and that there was no issue with the room. We have picture and video proof and honestly if we don’t get our money back that’s fine, but we don’t want anyone else to have this experience. So if I were you I would steer clear of this place. It did not add to our visit in Rome, but severely negatively impacted it.

In the middle of the homeless area, the rooms are all small, the whole place feels like dirty and unsafe. And it is not a hotel, it is a floor of a building. The building has 3 other hotel but this one is really the worst. Plus it smells, the whole place

Housed in the so-called "outbuilding" , about 1 km away, residenza Cernaia, room awful and the bathroom the worst, cold, rough cleaning, "breakfast" shameful in a bag to eat in the room. Coffee maker with coffee pods in the corridor, not always working...very bad stay. Of the photos and description on booking, I have found nothing.
