The gift shop next to the bar within the hotel is a tourist trap
The hotel itself is actually quite ok. The staff is helpful and friendly. The room was not spartan but left you with a longing for a bit more. What's the word, it was a bit dull
We had buffet for lunch and the dishes were good. They have gluten-free, dairy free selections which is not something you find everywhere. The location of the hotel is rather far from everything
Nice rooms with proper amenities, had a little slight odor when we arrived, but we aired out the room and it was fine. Great for big groups and dinners.
To go downtown you need to take the subway and to go to the subway you either walk for 20 mins or you may take the bus and walk for 3 mins. The walking is not very pleasant
Very narrow sidewalk and totaly uninteresting neighborhood. Once on the subway, it takes 10 mins to get to Piazza Spagna. Nice thing is, the hotel is in a quiet neighborhood

I absolutely loved the food that Flavio, the Head Chef, made and the service of Francesco has been exquisite, thank you so much! Had a pleasant 2 overnight stay, the rooms have been cleaned daily, the AC (and it's summer) has been on all the time, so that was great! There's a small but good gym, and a big swimming pool where I've had lots of fun going on and about
They arranged out taxi to the airport for 4 am for a fixed charge of €40 (12 minutes drive). The hotel is surprisingly large and functions as a convention hotel. The room was very large with a balcony (see photos)
Great Hotel with really good restaurant
Some portions of the hotel are admittedly due for some updating, but our rooms were great, the breakfast was awesome, the executive lounge was well appointed, and the staff was simply outstanding in all of our interactions
I’m a Titanium Elite Bonvoy member and have rarely noticed any benefit to that until I checked in at this place. They have an awesome 24/7 executive lounge with breakfast, happy hour, snacks etc
Nice and huge hotel located near the airport. I would suggest having car to stay there since there is literally nothing around. Check-in was fast though I had only 1 person in front of me

If you’re looking for an outstanding stay and dining experience where you’re treated like royalty, book in this hotel and request those waiters (Alessanrdo Ricciotti and Mustafa) Their dedication and charisma truly elevate the hotel and restaurant experience
The rooms were beautiful and spacious and the food and cocktails were delicious too. It was a bit out of the main attractions of the city, but super close to the serene Villa Borghese
Not only was the service impeccable, but they also took the time to engage with us in a big generous smile , sharing stories about the hotel, dishes and the inspiration behind them
What truly stood out was their attention to detail. They anticipated our needs before we even had to ask, ensuring our glasses were always full and our plates were perfectly timed
Their knowledge of the hotel and menu was impressive; they effortlessly guided us through the specials and made thoughtful recommendations based on our tastes and likes
Their passion for the guests and the restaurant was evident, and it created an inviting atmosphere that made us feel special

Very comfy bed, good in room facilities and nice bathroom. I was very happy with my room. Never used the on site bars or restaurants however good to have on hand. Taxi to Termimi at 6am was just under €30 for two of us
Coffee shop to left of entrance is very good. Bar to right of entrance friendly. I would stay here again if attending a game at the Olimpico, a little far out for a traditional holiday with children especially
Good breakfast and dishes are cooked well. I have been here 1 week in Jan 23 and 1 week in February 23. When returning to Rome now, I havent considered any other place. Distance from Piazza del Popolo is ok
The hotel is a little away from Rome's center. Therefore it takes some time to get to the places of interest. However, there is the possibility to take a bus because there's a bus station just a few minutes away
Floor is wooden and no smelly carpet. The open balcony from your room is awesome as you can smell the fresh air of Rome. I expect beautiful memories of Rome starting from our hotel
Room was okay. Breakfast was the exactly the same during our two nights stay. No bidet. No free bottled water and slippers, which is typical nowadays for European hotels

Rome, Via Vittorio Veneto 125 🧭 Map
I can't say enough good things about The Westin Excelsior, I hope to come back again someday! We booked our rooms on points over the New Years holidays
Saadia in the dining room was the best! She helped us for our entire stay and she was fantastic. Note: All the other staff was fantastic too
When we asked the Concierge to remove the Champagne from our room since we don’t consume alcohol, it was replaced with additional fruit! The cleaning staff were friendly and helpful - with the room and also suggestions on their fave places to eat!
What a beautiful hotel with amazing staff! We enjoyed our time here and can’t wait to come back. I will say the men staff tend to lean towards helping out females more than men but maybe that’s just the culture
The room was fantastic - the bed was so so comfortable, the furnishings impeccable (antique pieces, fabric wall coverings, chandeliers, marble countertops) - it had everything we needed
I didn't know what to expect with Rome over NYE, but I can confidently say it may be the best place to enjoy the festivities and city fireworks

Excellent family hotel, too, as we were traveling with 3 teenaged daughters, so breaking the day up between museums and sightseeing vs relaxing on property was a great way to keep them engaged!
Fantastic hotel with awesome staff. Food was amazing and the room was really comfy. The gym and spa was really nice and very high quality equipment. Location is ok, Uber available to get into Rome is needed
The only downside is it’s about 25 minutes outside of the city and they have only one shuttle that runs into the city once per hour and back to the hotel once per hour. I hope to make it back here one day
I stayed in this hotel last week for one night and I couldn’t be more thankful and grateful for the service that has been provided. They have upgraded us and added a nice amenity as a welcoming gift
As good as it gets for a 5 star hotel. Great service and always willing to help with anything you need. They have a shuttle service that can take you to and from central Rome. Or they can get you a taxi, or book an Uber
Absolutely amazing!! This hotel has it all. Great spa and both indoor and outdoor pools, amazing grounds, wonderful private art collection. The views of Rome are great if your room faces the city

Hotel Roma Aurelia Antica situated on the outskirts of the city has a peaceful ambience. Stay was comfortable during our visit there in October 2019. Food was good, especially their breakfast spread
Excellent service, quiet environment and shuttle bus available at 12 euros for roundtrip to the main city and the Vatican. Lacks venting in the bathroom and the restaurant was mediocre
I remember being able to shop there as there's a store on the ground floor, where you can get souvenirs of all kinds. It saved me the trip of going out to buy one. Would definitely like to visit it again in the future

Paola could tell we were disappointed and upgraded us with no charge to ensure we got a balcony. We loved the room, the facilities - the gym is well stocked - and enjoyed spending time having a drink at the bar
The hotel is well situated very near the Centro Termini (helpful if coming from Fiumicino Airport) and lots of things are walkable from it. There are endless choices of restaurants nearby
Best hotel I have ever stayed in Europe so far. This hotel made our stay in Rome more relaxing. The room we stayed was amazing. Starhotels lounge is very fabulous.
We loved our experience staying at the Starhotels Metropole. When we arrived to check in our staff member Paola was very helpful
We thought we had booked a room with a balcony as we had read reviews saying those rooms were worth the extra price but it turned out only some of the executive rooms have balconies
The group we traveled with under Gate 1 Travel had a few mentioning traffic noise because their room windows faced the street. This is due to its very convenient downtown location a mile (1

Breakfast was included with the room, and was pretty good. Scrambled eggs, bacon (actually ham) ham and cheese omelettes, some pastries, cereals, yogurt and appropriate toppings. My only complaint was the bed itself
Things to improve: breakfast, considering the high quality of the hotel the breakfast is poor. The coffee machines do not prepare good coffees. I would also expect a barista
It’s definitely a blast from the past. The bed also pretty much took up the entire room, which I suppose was common when it was built? I don’t really have anything bad to say about it but believe me - it’s old
- Lots of picture worthy spots within the hotel and a really cool old elevator. - breakfast was amazing as well : the pineapple juice in particular was soooooooo good! Everything was great
I recently stayed at Hotel Quirinale and had a very good experience. The professionalism of the staff is remarkable, the cleanliness is impeccable, and the service is quick and efficient
Toilet was clean, hot water is good. I do think the staffs especially at the reception were not as friendly as other hotels i stayed in Rome. Great location, easy access to all the attractions by foot

It's very good quiet comfortable hotel and I enjoyed staying in it plus the very good service of the bar and restaurant especially the bar and it's perfect serving very nice& kind people with lovely special Profesional treatment , thanks for the collaboration of the help desk and being responsive team all times
I recommend this hotel if you ever wanted to visit Rome it will be a good choice definitely
The rooms are old fashioned and the bathroom was dirty and there was a bad smell. The location is not good too far from the city. I had to take two or three different public transports every day
During my visit to Rome, I stayed in this hotel. The staff is professional, kind, always ready to help, really at a high level, which caused a great surprise on my part
I will gladly recommend the Pineta Palace Hotel to the citizens of Montenegro who are planning to visit Rome. Greetings from Montenegro! 🇲🇪🤝🇮🇹
The rooms are very clean from a hygienic point of view. The food is of high quality, which is truly commendable

Good location. Friendly staff. The room was worn (threadbare places in the carpet & torn curtains) and could have been cleaner (cobwebs on the moulding & splashes/spots on the bathroom floor).
We just returned from Rome in December. We were there for the Christmas holidays. We had a great experience at the NH Hotel. We stayed at the Central hotel. It was quiet at night and a safe area
The breakfast was lovely each morning with delicious breads, cheese, meats of different kinds, juice, sweet yogurt, eggs and more. Our room was clean and we had a wonderful stay. Thank you from San Francisco,CA
We stayed 4 nights at the hotel It was an amazing experience. The rooms are big and clean, the personnel polite. Especially Maria the cutest young lady at the reception was a pleasant surprise for us
Beautiful hotel and a great location within walking distance to anything you’d want to do. Breakfast was awesome! Husband loved the fitness room. The staff was awesome and super helpful
My biggest issue here is the air conditioning on nite 1 it was painfully uncomfortable and we couldn't even sleep because it was 80 26c degrees although set on 18c apparently this is a common practice around Europe with hotels to turn off the air conditioning right at night when you need it the most when you are in your room I would rather they turn it off during the day

Stunning room, marble bath, crisp, thick bed linens, sharp, friendly liveried staff, house wine worthy of purchase by the case and the absolutely best Caprese salad I've ever eaten --and at sunset on the rooftop bar, the dimes of St Peter and Maria of the Snows on the near skyline
From the moment Albert greeted me at check-in until he checked me out three days later, your friendly dining room staff and dedicated housekeeping staff made sure my stay was the best that it could be
Besides the beautiful, historic hotel and my recently renovated and updated room your best asset, your staff, made sure my stay was the very best it could be
Front desk staff were a little brusque but helpful. Breakfast was excellent as was dinner in the restaurant. Can't get closer to the trainstation too! Brought a team of colleagues and everyone enjoyed their stay
Multi-ethnic restaurants, parks, theatres, restaurants, cafe-bars, archaeological marvels a short amble from the front door. A two minutes walk to the airport express train --- perfect even for an in-transit overnight
In the midst of a pandemic, with only the thinnest trickle of patronage, it's amazing that this hotel was open at all - let alone with 4-star appointments and service --- and no hidden add-ons

You may spend between 20 to 30 euros for one trip to go to the center of Rome, but for us it was perfectly OK. We didn’t want to stay in a hotel surrounded by the typical noises of a busy city
The only fact is that the location can be an inconvenient depending on the case because the hotel is 20 minutes away from the center of Rome
The taxi service is so great in Rome that we only had to wait 3 to 5 minutes after the receptionist requested a taxi for us
If you want to stay in a hotel to walking distance from the center, this hotel is not the right place for you
I can’t recommend this hotel enough. Such a great find in a city that can be very hit or miss with accommodations. Will definitely be staying here next time

Were the days 4 5 and 6 march 2016 and it really is a hotel splendid, with an excellent attention of all the staff and especially Maria Luisa's breakfast, a luxury hotel with rooms super spacious, breakfast and dinner excellent, we were in a group of Panavision hired by the ceibo viajes of Argentina
The rooms were big enough and very comfy but regarding the location , I have a lot to say... maybe better lightning outside would be a good improvement.
Hoyel very nice puloto ordered, the dinner and the food in general quite good, the tv has few channels
In General, a good hotel, but already tired of life. Certainly used to be very good. First, given a smoky room, but changed without problems. A little awkward to get him in the center of the city
The tickets can be bought in the campsite across the road. Near supermarket, Shoe store and an electronics store
to be honest it’s of course a huge mistake of EASYJET. Ah, after more than 1 hour, a third counter opens. But, the room was perfect so I’ll change from 1 star to 4 stars, not for easyJet, but for the hotel! Grazie

If you’re looking for an hotel with character, cozy atmosphere and top-notch service, I highly recommend this one
WiFi needs to be upgraded the speed is really low. The hotel rooms are functional and clean. Good option if you stay 2-3 nights in Rome.
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The retro vibe creates such a unique and nostalgic atmosphere
The breakfast was very good with a great variety of fresh options to choose from, and bedrooms were spacious, clean and offered plenty of space to relax
Brighr colour schemes and I appreciated the washroom had an actual propper door. Water pressure and heat are good
It felt more like a budget motel than a supposed 4-star property. One of the most frustrating things was the complete lack of basic amenities

Rooms are fairly nice and size is good but the maintenance and cleaning service is not great. We booked two rooms and here are some issues 1. Hand towels not replaced (taken away but no new ones provided) 2
Good luck if you are trying to request any amenities as they will keep promising you that they will “deliver” it to your room and nobody will ever show up even if you wait for hours
It's mostly all remodeled, and very nice. Rooms are well appointed, and a modern, eclectic vibe. since it's a little away from the major attractions, and crowds. However, not a long walk at all to the sites
My wife and I had a great experience at this hotel. We were fortunate to be helped by Zuzana during our dinner. She has so much personality and professionalism
Borghese Gardens is right behind the hotel. NH hotels never seem to disappoint
In terms of other amenities they don’t replace all useful stuff instead they just put it back where it is or worse take it away without replacing it. They also don’t provide slippers in the room for some reason

Asked for a cab to be called to bring us to the airport but staff totally ignored the request as he was pushing for us to use the hotel-provided service instead and of course it was much more costly
Excellent location Beautiful hotel close to the train station (5 min walk) and excellent for walking to the sites of Rome and finding restaurants
The previous hotel we stayed in while in Milan had the same pre-set timer but they did adjust for us. On the whole, you get a good basic set of provisions with this hotel, service and all
On the whole, a nice place to stay. Main complain is that some staff member at the front desk were not very accommodating. Asked for a pair of cutlery at night and we're told kitchen was closed
Bathrooms were really cold at night and we asked if the heater in them could be turned on. We're told they were automated and they could not do anything about it
Well we had breakfast at the main dining hall and there were lots of cutlery around in various trays. This area is just next to the front desk

This hotel made us feel like royals !! The staff is super professional, very clean rooms, super quiet hotel no noise what so ever, the food was out of this world, I especially enjoyed the dessert, the coffee was very good and waiters were prompt and very friendly ! The location of the hotel could not be in a more convenient place! We checked out but the Hotel offered us to take care of our luggages...
I loved the location, the staff were good, and the restaurant was great. The room just was an entire debacle. One thing I can say positively about the rooms was they were quiet at night
Staff are welcoming and definitely accommodating as we arrived 4 hours early. Ensured our room was priority to be ready. Room was simple and clean with decent AC as we arrived with temps of 37-39 degrees for 5 days
Fantastic hotel, staying in a family suite. 2 separate rooms created by easily opened dividing doors. Air con is great and much needed at this time of year. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again
It is located in a great location with easy access to the train station and within walking distance of the Colosseum and other major sites. Rome can be sketchy and the area around hotel is no different
We also included buffet breakfast daily during our stay which makes it easy for you with lots of food and variety to choose from. Highly recommended hotel to stay

Plus there is an ice machine I guess near the door so I hear every single piece falls down. The pool is good enough very relaxing. The gym is very small so if you are into gym absolutely it's not good enough
Maximum kg they have is 4 kg and very few machines and some of them are broken. The sauna was good but it's small so it's just for 2 people. Let's jump on the reception Part
I really can't say any good. Maybe my standard are hi, but food was okay, bedroom okay, my room was smelly. However, to be fair, good hotel in Italy are very expensive, so I guess it is a good option for the money.
The restaurant is great breakfast and dinner were good. The room was clean and big enough and the bathroom was good
Not only were the mayor part of the common area installations usefully redesigned but also was the food quality excellent in line with outstanding customer service, that coming from a spoilt German VielTraveller

Very close to metro station, Laurentina. It's important if you don't want to drive , wich is my advice😂 Clean, very good breakfast, great staff, and price is OK.
Decent price for Rome, service is overall good. City tax is ridiculous, 90 euro for 2 people for 6 nights. Think about this before you decide to come to Rome!
Located near Laurentina train and bus station. Great breakfast and dining options. Friendly staff. Marco on the coffee machine is a master barista. Excellent reception. Highly recommended
My stay was wonderful. The staff was wonderful. They were extremely helpful. The breakfast was amazing. I would stay again.
The food is quite good and plenty
I recommend this hotel if you are going to finish some work in Roma, it's quite convenient because you can find good food, a 24 hours market near there for any drink you may need, a big pharmacy as well and every kind of public transport near the door of the Hotel
