Grand Hotel Plaza
Rome, Via del Corso 126 🧭 Map
This is my favourite hotel in Rome. Its old world charm and architecture, gr8 service and our room was stylish and spotless. The bars r devine and at Christmas the decorations and tree really beautiful. The Nazis occupied it during WW11. Exudes history. Excellent location. Good value for money. We stayed 4 nights. Loved the marble lion staircase. Class act!
Very beautiful architecture, fantastic paintings and design. I do not like taste of coffee and cookies. Service is good and friendly.
Very cool hotel
Great location as everything is located literally 20 min walk to all the attractions. The Grand Hotel Plaza has a lot of history and unique design to its credit. Shopping Restaurants n supermarkets all a few minutes away However it seems to have lost its charm due to few issues. The reception and lobby area can get a bit busy as they don't have a dedicated check in and check out area. The rooms...
Located in Central Roma, Fabulous Hotel, The service is excellent and morning breakfast is very well attended, as you have a great variety of foods for everyone's taste. Book this Hotel if you wish to be in the middle of the best shopping in all of Italy and just a short walk to the famous Piazza Venecia.

Location of hotel is good. Many shops and restaurants in walking distance. It’s a autograph collection hotel. I just don’t feel right that there is no any kind of coffee machine in the room. They just leave instant coffee and this room costs more than 600 dollars a night. I thought Italians are picky about coffee but not in this hotel.
Incredible location! Close to shopping, restaurants and a taxi stand right out front. We had a room with a view of the Piazza and fountain. The sunsets were beautiful from our patio. The staff were very friendly and made great dinner reservations. Our room was very spacious and clean. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it as an excellent choice.
Overall, this was a decent stay. I read a lot of reviews and ignored the fact that many people complained about the AC; however, Rome in August is no joke. Our AC was no exception. It would blow air, and at night would finally get down to maybe 78 degrees Fahrenheit (despite having it set on the lowest option). We shared that our room was incredibly hot and were given a fan, which made a little difference...
Took my family here and had an amazing time. There is a taxi stand right outside which was great for my Nana since she was exhausted by the end of our trip. They also let us keep our luggage their until our room was ready so we could explore the city, which was just amazing. Breakfast was insanely nice, but having drinks on the rooftop at night looking out at the city and the fountain in front was...
We absolutely loved our stay at the Sina Bernini Bristol! The staff was so welcoming and friendly! They instantly greeted our children with warm smiles and went above and beyond to make our stay special! The suites were immaculate and beautifully decorated! When our suites were ready, the staff gifted us with extra amenities, champagne, fruits and treats in our room! Pleasant surprise after walking...
Just stayed here and must say that this hotel is a … Perfectly located 5 Star Hotel! Sina Bernini Bristol is in the best area that is slightly away from the big crowds but only a 10 minute walk to the busier area. There is plenty of shops and restaurants immediately out the front door too! The underground is literally 10 steps away in case you need to get to Rome Termini Train Station or further to...

What an experience we had! It was simply outstanding. The staff were super friendly and helpful, right from the porters, especially Isabella who helped us book the rooms and gave us an amazing welcome, the front desk staff and Salvadore ( I think I got his name right:) who helped us with booking our local train tickets. I would definitely be back and spend some more time in the city and the hotel when...
Wonderful service! We truly enjoyed our two night stay here in August. The best service I’ve ever had at a hotel. Our driver from the airport to the hotel was helpful and kind. Arrival staff was fantastic. Room - it was a suite with a view of the plaza with stairs - was beautiful and spacious. Room set up for our children and us with a crib and a pull out already made. We normally stay at Marriott...
Wonderful service, concierge was exceptional with suggestions and reservations for lunch and dinner. Breakfast was very good, great selection, good quality and attentive service. Unfortunately our bedroom while a nice size was very poorly lit with no window, instead there was a door into a small area which had walls round it which were around 6 foot high. There was literally no view other than a look...
Wow! What an incredible hotel! The stay here was at the end of our 3 week long tour throughout Italy and we saved the best for last! We had booked a junior suite for our remaining 3-days but upon check-in, we were informed that our room was ready and that we had been upgraded. My wife and I looked at each other and thought great...we had no idea. They upgraded us to the Presidential Suite, which used...
Charming and great location & Awesome service Mr. Giuseppe greeted our family and others as we prepare to check in. His warmth shined through his smile. The spirit of his leadership was evident in his employees. The hotel is absolutely beautiful full new and old world charm. The room was very spacious and our family of three were super comfortable. The ultimate luxury place. We felt very welcomed and everyone was there to make sure we have are having a great time. Loved all the hidden cozy places in the Lobby to sit back and enjoy the Signature cocktails of your Lobby Bar. That’s what we did by the fireplace. We have had the most incredible experience staying here! This was the first stop on our elopement/honeymoon trip and I don’t know how anything will beat it. We came to Rome to get married and the staff here made it so special for us! We did our vows in the library at the hotel and they went above & beyond to accommodate us. Gianluca, Roberta, and Giovanni were the absolute highlights of our stay! We...
This hotel was absolutely amazing and the epitome of luxury. The staff was so kind and so helpful. The location is relatively close to everything you need. The room and bathroom were spectacular and the bathroom provides a scale. The breakfast buffet was the best I’ve ever seen at any hotel, ever. But I would suggest you do your own research for restaurant recommendations and don’t take them from the...
We had a beautiful suite at the St. Regis. I was impressed with the size of it and the quality of the materials used. They even provided a Dyson blow dryer! The staff spoke excellent English, and we felt very welcomed as Americans. I can’t wait to come back here!
The best true luxury hotel in Rome. Giuseppe, the GM, and his team are nothing short of amazing! The rooms are beautiful, the restaurant and bar are outstanding, and the people are best in class. I am in Rome a lot and I only stay here (and I have stayed at the other luxury hotels in Rome). Again, Giuseppe and his team are amazing. Thank you for another wonderful stay. Can’t wait to go back.
Staying at the St. Regis is definitely a luxury experience. From the moment you walk into the hotel, you feel incredibly welcome. The lobby is stunning and features high-standard live performances. Everything, from breakfast to the room details, is super fancy. The hotel's central location in Rome makes it easy to get around. I did experience some issues with the bathroom and room keys, but they were...
Absolutely stunning hotel with service second to none. Well worth the extra walk to the main sights. The beds are super comfortable. The breakfast was beyond heavenly! One of those hotels you’re truly sad to leave. Will be back again!

We stayed in a premium room with balcony, I loved the interior. The staff were very attentive and helpful. The location was around 10 min walking to nearest shopping places cafes and restaurants but the staff made it easier for us to find shortcuts and taxis.
Beautiful hotel with such a sense of class and charm. The rooms are incredible. The suite has a Jacuzzi on the balcony with a nice view. Breakfast is fabulous.
Location is very good. Service is average. Maintenance below average. Staff was very friendly. Very limited options in breakfast menu.
Great hotel fantastic location and the staff are very attentive.
The staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is near the American Embassy, so it’s a safe area. There are tons of restaurant nearby. I do agree some previous reviews said it does not feel like a five stars hotel. The shower temperature changes from hot to cold every 10 seconds, it’s pretty annoying. We booked breakfast for our last morning in Rome. We did not stay at the hotel. The views were breathtaking! We ordered an egg dish each, then the french toast to share. They were all so delicious! Would highly recommend and would definitely visit again!

My wife and I stayed here during our first trip to Rome and wow, what a great hotel. The gym was good, the breakfast was fantastic and had amazing views of the city. We didn't eat here for dinner because the prices seemed a bit exorbitant. The location was a bit away from the center of the city and seemed to be more in a business district but we enjoyed that aspect because it allowed us to get away...
I loved the hotel, it's location, the restaurant was excellent. But I paid 300 extra euro per night for an upgrade to a premium luxury room with balcony and I cannot imagine a smaller room. I presume in the end it was just a higher floor. I needed room to work in my room and there was just a little round table and relaxing chair. I went for an aperitif at the hotel’s roof top restaurant The staff were welcoming and overwhelmingly courteous. The view overlooking the forum and the war memorial of pz Venezia was enough to take your breath away. Drinks and accompanying food were excellent. I will be back for a full course dinner.
This hotel is simply amazing. It is perfectly located near all tourist attractions but sufficiently tucked away from the crowds. Rome Cavalieri was an amazing hotel. It feels like a palace with how nice is it. Every restaurant was amazing and had one of the best waffles of my life for breakfast. One thing I also liked is that they have a shuttle service that...
One of my favorite properties all around. Pros: Decor of the rooms is splendid. Lovely touches all around. The grounds are just beautiful. The 2 outdoor pools and 1 indoor pool give you lots of space to enjoy. The breakfast buffet is excellent. Excellent views of Rome. Cons: A bit far from everything else in Rome. Beautiful hotel! My husband and I were traveling in Italy and needed a hotel that had all the amenities we are used to in California and the Waldorf Rome was just that for us. We were just in Rome in August and stayed there for two nights before heading to Sorrento! This hotel was amazing! I recently stayed at the W Rome Hotel, and my experience was nothing short of spectacular. What a lovely hotel. Beautiful, centrally located with a fabulous, friendly and creative team. Food is ridiculously good. After traveling through Europe for 2 weeks this was by far my favorite place that we stayed. The rooms were spacious, we had a huge room with columns. I loved the green interior and all the decor. A fabulous experience - older rooms with older furnishings, but the history and space more than makes up for the lack of updates in the suite in which we stayed. What a beautiful hotel with amazing staff! We enjoyed our time here and can’t wait to come back. I will say the men staff tend to lean towards helping out females more than men but maybe that’s just the culture. Overall it was great! The old man piano player was my favorite part of the stay. He truly enjoys his job and is passionate about music.
An unforgettable stay at the Westin Excelsior which is situated conveniently to a Metro station, a short walk from some tourist attractions such as the Pantheon, Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps. But the difference maker in this case is the exceptional service from the moment we stepped into the hotel to the concierge team, especially Michele G who helped recommend 3 amazing authentic dinners and...
It's a real nice hotel, the rooms are large and spacious and very nicely decorated. My TV did not work but maybe that's a plus i didn't ask for it to be fixed. In terms of location it's a bit farther off from some of the main attractions so take that into account. The neighborhood it's is very upscale without really any cheap options for gifts or memorabilia. All in all a very nice experience.

Their lift is very antique and unique it reminds me of old style...
small but comfortable rooms. good service
Don’t go there if you expect good breakfast and good food. Good location, small rooms, very friendly staff and efficient service but a bit too old and over priced place .
Very good staff, rooms are very clean and comfortable, buffet breakfast is excellent. Location is close / walking distance to plenty of sightseeing. Quieter part of town walking distance to a nice green park.
A great hotel wich deserves some improvement
Great hotel. Nice location. Perfect service and facilities! The only problem is sound isolation. Via Veneto is too noisy.

Very nice staff and beautiful room. I have been here a month ago in my best trip of my life, an italian tour. Rome was my last stop and I felt in love of this property. Very good located and best view from my room.
Love so much peoples works here , smiling listening, nice energy. And room also very comfortable, with a spa with jacuzzi and sauna was so nice too. Wonderful moment at Rome. Hope can try the suite next time 🫢
This hotel is truly amazing. We stayed there twice on our Italian vacations and were not disappointed. The staff is delightful and knowledgeable, and the hotel's public areas are spotless and shining. The concierge has superb knowledge of Rome and can get you into any museum. Breakfast is awesome and the breakfast area is a work of art. And of course: LOCATION !!!
Excellent hotel very well located away from caos of downtown. Easy to get around from it’s location. Spanish steps is a 10 min walk. Friendly staff, excellent concierge and bar staff. Give them a four star due to AC issues and missing turn down service one night. It’s rated 5 stars so this should not have happened.
Amazing location, service, the staff is over the top highly recommend. Can’t wait to visit again.Olga and the whole front desk staff “wow” thank you.
I stayed here two different times for a few days each, within a month. I enjoyed my stay both times, but also had very different experiences each time. On my first stay the staff was incredible, the room ready early, sweet gestures from the team. All around fantastic. When I came back the service was still good, but I received a different explanation of the American Express Fine hotels and resorts...
