Worst Hotel I Have Ever Stayed In. Value for money is embarrassing.
- Definitely not a 4 star hotel
- Rooms are dingy and walls are paper thin.
Do not waste your money coming to this hotel.

Originally was booked to stay at hotel Regio, upon arrival was told they were overbooked and could not stay there so was moved to hotel Lux which was apparently “better”. Very unprofessional to book guests in to stay at a hotel and then tell them they have to move somewhere else which is not was i booked/paid for!
This hotel is in a good location and the service of the room being cleaned each day was good, however the good did not outweigh the bad!
The rooms are very small, not a lot of space to keep bags and move around, no wifi in the rooms as you could not possibly get connection. Furniture is outdated and the only linen on the bed is a sheet to keep you warm at night. The biggest issue is the NOISE! If you’re looking to not go to sleep until midnight and to not sleep past 6:30 in the morning without being disturbed then this is the place for you. The walls/doors and other rooms are so thin and close together that you can hear every conversation from other guests, screaming, yelling and banging around every single night and morning. Other guests were very frustrated and were getting up at night to tell people to be quiet as there was no possible way to sleep.

Not sure who in Italy gives out star ratings to hotels, but they should really review their criteria :D

The positives: Staff was generally friendly, rooms were cleaned and towels were changed daily, beds were made also daily. Location was good - not very close by foot to the main attractions, but there is a metro nearby. Nice restaurants and cafes in the area.

The negatives: Room was absolutely tiny, barely any space to move around - doable if you are one person, but for two people it would have been impossible. Furniture generally quite old, fridge that wasn't working, shower cabin was hard to get into. I believe the A/C may not have been working properly too as other rooms were much warmer.

I think if the hotel was rated more appropriately (perhaps 2*), people would be able to adjust their expectations. But to me this is definitely not a 4* hotel. Perhaps the owners of the hotel should invest in a significant renovation.

The a 3 star and not pull. A maximum of 2. Very noisy ventilation, no bath curtain, dim light. There are other reasons, but no more.
