The hotel is situated in the historic centre of Rome, between the Spanish steps and the Trevi fountain, 300 metres from Barberini metro station and has excellent following in different areas of the city by public transport. Bed bugs!! Avoid!!

Already after the first night we started itching and the third night we found several bed bugs walking around us. A terrible feeling!

Even worse was the response from the hotel: ‘oh yes, bed bugs’ - like it was known.. we demanded a new room and got one in an room on a lower floor, but we requested to be moved to a new hotel.

The receptionist the next day did not even say sorry. The hotel manager sat in the room next door, with the door open- but did not respond. I looked at him several times but he avoided eye contact and looked down.

We were told to send the hotel an email about our complaint- one week later they have still not responded.

The final thing we did was to ask about their routine for our old room. The receptionist said that they will clean the room.. This is definitely not enough - it has to be disinfected. They did not seem to care..

So please stay away from this place, both La Fenice and Concordia

Great location! Right at the beginning of the Main Street leading to Fountain di Trevi. Supermarket right outside the hotel, quick check in and check out.
Walking distance to main attractions.
Very decent breakfast and a nice roof to chill.

I loved absolutely everything about this hotel. The location was great, only a 5 minute walk for the fontana de trevi and right next to all the luxury brands (you fell safe)
About the hotel, the economic room is not big, but more than enough for a couple. We went during the winter and the room was always warm and cosy, the shower worked perfect, very well cleaned everyday with fresh towels.
The breakfast was really good (pancakes with Nutella? Incredibly) and has a good view.
Overall, amazing.

3rd morning there we saw bed bugs in the room! I’m so upset! Super basic room with bed & fridge.
The breakfast & attendant was awesome! The front check is in a hotel around the corner was very friendly and helpful. Able to drop luggage prior to room being ready.
Very close to Trevi Fountain & Spanish Steps.

I was very disappointed… sad to say I unfortunately spent my birthday at this hotel. The wifi or tv did not work in my room. The mattress quality was terrible, in fact two smaller mattresses were retrofitted into a queen bed-frame. The shower was clogged and kept overflowing. There were bugs, including roaches, in the room! The accommodation was not cheap but the stay certainly felt that way.

Pros:
1) good location 5 minutes from trevi fountain
2) lovely breakfast staff! The man who attended to the breakfast and made coffee every morning was very sweet and helpful.

Cons:
1) AC didn’t work well. Not great for summer especially considering the lack of airflow.
2) shower was tiny and didn’t drain, no way 2 people could take showers within 30 mins of each other - a nightmare to get ready in the morning.
3) when we checked in one of the room keys didn’t work, and there was no toilet paper - not great after having to lug bags around the corner to the reception to check in since the one at La Fenice was unattended
4) NO natural light. One tiny window in the corner and the room was pitch black most of the time
5) wifi only reached one tiny corner of the room if you were standing at the door

Do not bother booking here - no one at reception - you need to go to another hotel to get room key - no happy hour on the roof top as quoted on their website - the roof top at night is not lit & no bar service available - hotel rooms are musty smelling & small - in need of a good paint & general renovation- breakfast was good

This was actually quite a bad experience. The Hotel is very small, there seems to be only cleaningstaff present. No manned lobby, the check-in is at another hotel.
The aircondition was not working, neither did the WiFi or TV.
The doors were very thin so you heard everything in the hall. Quite some noise from the window too, even though it was inside the "yard". Finally the bad was like sleeping on the floor.
To sum it up it is about as basic as it gets. We traveled with friends which had the same experience in their room.

Location of the hotel is very good as it was close to piazza di spagna and fontana di trevi. But the receptionist was a block a way we had to walk with our luggages to go and make the check in. The rooms ara so so tiny at least ours. There was a bad smell in the room and very noisy. Wifi dont work. The breakfast was ok but the room where you have the breakfast is super tiny as well. When we paid it was expensive for two nights only and it wasn’t like the photos so i am very disappointed!

My wife and I enjoyed our stay very much. It offers a location that's convenient to many tourist attractions, affordable rates, and the breakfast is quite nice. It's true that the reception desk is now around the corner, but it's a short walk and we weren't inconvenienced by this. The concierge was helpful and all the staff we encountered were very accommodating.
