Unfortunately, our experience with Hotel La Fenice was extremely disappointing. We had a reservation for early March 2025, but due to the nationwide strike in Greece following the tragic train accident in Tempi, all transportation was suspended, including our flight. Despite providing full documentation and kindly requesting either a rescheduling of our stay or a partial refund, the hotel showed no understanding or flexibility whatsoever. They refused to accommodate our situation, even though it was clearly a case of force majeure, and not a personal cancellation. As 25-year-old students, this trip meant a lot to us, and losing the entire amount without any empathy or effort to assist was truly disheartening. We would not recommend this hotel based on their lack of customer care and rigid approach to an exceptional circumstance.

Photos are deceiving. Room is tiny and dark said court yard which is not correct. The view was of a roof and a died hanging plant of how much you could see out the tiny window. Lady at front desk very difficult with an issue with our booking. A/C does not work. Would not recommend this hotel. Only good point is the location.

The room was clean and quiet even though it was in the city center. I had a little trouble checking in. The hotel check-in was at another place, not far away, but I felt a little uncomfortable for the first time. Everything else was ok

Bed bugs!! Avoid!!
Already after the first night we started itching and the third night we found several bed bugs walking around us. A terrible feeling!
Even worse was the response from the hotel: ‘oh yes, bed bugs’ - like it was known.. we demanded a new room and got one in an room on a lower floor, but we requested to be moved to a new hotel.
The receptionist the next day did not even say sorry. The hotel manager sat in the room next door, with the door open- but did not respond. I looked at him several times but he avoided eye contact and looked down.
We were told to send the hotel an email about our complaint- one week later they have still not responded.
The final thing we did was to ask about their routine for our old room. The receptionist said that they will clean the room.. This is definitely not enough - it has to be disinfected. They did not seem to care..
So please stay away from this place, both La Fenice and Concordia

Clean and decent hotel in a very central location, but in a quiet street. Hotel has no reception which is a bit inconvenient, as you need to go around the corner to their sister hotel for check- in and check - out Air con functioned well Bathroom is spacious and renovated, shower with enough hot water and pressure. Besides the bathroom the hotel is a bit outdated,

Great location! Right at the beginning of the Main Street leading to Fountain di Trevi. Supermarket right outside the hotel, quick check in and check out.

I loved absolutely everything about this hotel. The location was great, only a 5 minute walk for the fontana de trevi and right next to all the luxury brands (you fell safe)
About the hotel, the economic room is not big, but more than enough for a couple. We went during the winter and the room was always warm and cosy, the shower worked perfect, very well cleaned everyday with fresh towels.
The breakfast was really good (pancakes with Nutella? Incredibly) and has a good view.
Overall, amazing.

We booked for two nights this past week, with the free cancellations and also free bottle of sparkling wine & breakfast package. This hotel is not as described- the reception area was at another hotel a few blocks away. Our room phone was broken, making it challenging to communicate with the off-site reception. We also had to walk there to checkout in the dark at 4 am with luggage. We never received the sparking wine & were told housekeeping ‘forgot’ and that we could get it the next day (which we couldn't do bc we were flying out early). When we had to unexpectedly check out a day early they were unwilling to give us any refund or discount on the room despite the above. The upshot is that it was an easy walk to both Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps. But, so are many other hotels.

3rd morning there we saw bed bugs in the room! I’m so upset! Super basic room with bed & fridge.
The breakfast & attendant was awesome! The front check is in a hotel around the corner was very friendly and helpful. Able to drop luggage prior to room being ready.

I was very disappointed… sad to say I unfortunately spent my birthday at this hotel. The wifi or tv did not work in my room. The mattress quality was terrible, in fact two smaller mattresses were retrofitted into a queen bed-frame. The shower was clogged and kept overflowing. There were bugs, including roaches, in the room! The accommodation was not cheap but the stay certainly felt that way.
