Nice environment, nice location just right close to Colosseum, Luigi who is in the reception he is extremely friendly and kind. Feel free to ask him if you need anything.
Clean hotel, reasonable price, full breakfast and most importantly, excellent and friendly staff.
Overall, it's quite good. There is a shared kitchen and the shower and accommodation environment are both excellent. However, the order states that breakfast costs 5.9 euros, but I was actually charged 8.9 euros.
Amazing place, they have best location, everywhere is so convenient and walking distance, so much to discover around
Simple but full of surprises, friendly staff, breakfast and food are available throughout the day. Very strategy location.

Rome, Via Luigi Luzzatti 3 🧭 Map
One of the best hostels I have slept in, reasonable prices but quality services and amenities.
I really enjoy my stay here! The room is proper and clean and the staff was very friendly. I was a bit sad when it’s time to leave because I made really good memories here. The lovely lady at the receptionist also gave me food recommendations to try. Hopefully I can come back in the future!
The hostel doesn’t have an elevator, so I had to carry my luggage to the 4th floor. The hostel is close to the bus and metro stations, and it’s good for a short stay.
Reel cute hostel. Close to collessoum. Old building have Retro vibe. And the stuff was really helpfull and kind.
The best hostel ever. Nice staff, good hygiene, occasional free dinner, good privacy and safety
Clean environment, nice staff, and great cabins. Good location, 20min to Colosseum and 15min to Termini station

Funny Palace Hostel
Rome, Via Varese 33 🧭 Map
Good price, good roommates, relatively clean room. Mabri was a friendly and welcoming host. Unfortunately there was no common area, so it's not the best hostel for meeting people, but other than that it was a good experience. Note: I am not sure how often they change the blankets. And you may have to bring your own towel.
Funny Palace Hostel is a great place to stay in Rome. The hostel is conveniently located close to the central train station and within walking distance of several attractions. From the outset, Mabri and the staff were fantastic. The map and advice was a great help. The rooms were extremely clean and the beds were comfortable. The showers and bathroom were kept spotless. I would completely recommend...
It was a lovely place to stay, with an extremely helpful host. The room was clean, and so was the bathroom. Check-in was flexible, and the location is unbeatable. It's very central, but not inside the utterly tourist-ridden parts of the city.
You get free wine and breakfast. The owner is very nice, the rooms are clean and I got a free upgrade! Sadly no common area or kitchen.
I felt incredibly safe staying here, it had great proximity to the city and public transportation, and the guy who checked us in gave us a free bottle of wine and planned out a trip itinerary for us! The shower had hot water, everything was clean, and the beds were comfortable. I would definitely stay here again :-)
They have laundry service (6 euros wash and dry). The laundry service was nice since you can drop it off and they'll put it in the dryer for you too. They even folded a few shirts for me! The rooms are basically old hotel rooms with a few single beds thrown in. There's no common room to socialize.

Clean, very affordable, ideal location
Great location with friendly staff. AC ensuite which is awesome if you're coming during the summer month. Would definitely book again!
This hostel was great! Bathrooms were expectional, rooms were very large, kitchen was relatively small but still nice. Martin was very welcoming and helpful, he pointed out all the places on the map for us and even suggested an itinerary for us based on how much time we had in Rome. The only kicker was that it wasn't 24 hour reception which was a little bit annoying. Overall great value for the price
Convenient hostel located near the metro line. Marvin was very helpful and outlined the best sights to see in Rome!
Nice place. Rooms, kitchen and bathroom very well. Everything always very clean. Friendly staff although not very punctual.
Good value for money. No 24hr reception, but manager is at the times needed. Basic, but comfortable facilities. Clean and safe.

Nice hotel, people and location, the thing that needs to be worked out, I think is the breakfast, lots of room for improvement there.
Thank you!
Nice stay. Front garden. Near Roma Termini
Rooms very small but staff were very nice and hotel very convenient to the city
Totally fine for a group seeing and singing in Rome a weekend. Friendly front desk. Had enough scrambled eggs and bacon to walk Rome for hours.
Very nice 3* hotel, good location, clean rooms, great breakfast. Rooms facing the street are a bit noisy day and night due to traffic. Would recommend.
the positive points:
cheap hotel
very good location there are 2 bus stations in front of the hotel, a tram station and the subway is about 6 minutes from the hotel.
the staff is friendly
The negative points:
the room is very small and the bathroom is not clean and small as well.
I do recommend that they make effort for making the bathroom cleaner and the room a little bit bigger

Convenient location, clean, great service.Room small, no bathtub
The rooms are okay and the service is good, but the shower was very small and we barely had Wi-Fi reception in the room
We had a family room for four, which was modern and clean, but quite small. Staff was helpful and spoke English well. Internet costs extra, is per device and pretty lousy.
Very nicely renovated with a fresh look. Staff are wonderful, very friendly. Great breakfast options. Only downside is they don't have an iron to borrow and their WiFi is terrible. You also have to pay for it. Otherwise I'm really enjoying my stay.
Great location, room was nice and modern, staff were helpful and the breakfast provided was better then expected. Came here on the last leg of travelling around Italy. We hadn't booked this hotel our travel agent had and we were expecting it to be horrible due to the online reviews but it was much better then expected. Maybe other rooms were bad but room 204 was nice and had a nice view of a local...

5 min walk from main train station and 2 min walk from metro. Clean and a very good breakfast. We were placed in a building next door to the hotel itself. The first night we were in a room with a bed upstairs. Air conditioning was not working, the fan we were given was broken and the window was downstairs, so no heat escaped through it. When I asked for another fan at 1am, as I could not sleep,...
Good location near to the Termini metro and train station, property and bed comfortable. But as negative points :
- window couldn't be closed properly, so we heard the noisy traffic
- breakfast a bit poor, without any vegetables (tomato, cucumber...)
- lift didn't work, so we had to carry our luggage 3 floors
I really enjoyed my stay here. Close to the University, the Hospital and the Main terminal. Metro is very close, little shops and restaurants are on the same side of the street, safe neighborhood.
Wonderful staff, very helpful. Our room was charming and not to far so we were able to walk to many places.
This is an unfussy hotel that's clean and in a great location. It's within walking distance to two metro stations which is very useful. Breakfast is simple but tasty. It's difficult to adjust the room temperature, but that's our only real complaint. It was fixed by opening the window.
We stayed at Hotel Galles for four nights in November. The staff was friendly and helpful, fluent in English. Rooms were a decent size, and came with a stocked mini-fridge, though the mattresses were a bit firm for my liking. Great location four blocks north of Termini, and just a block from the Castro Pretoria metro stop, so it was easy to jump anywhere in the city. Would stay here again.

I agree with other guests that the hotel is not the cleanest but they do their best. The workers were nice and helpful. About the location, we didn't have any problems. There were taxis and even public transportation to get there. It's like 15 minutes walking from the coliseum. One thing you need to be aware is that in Rome they charge you a lot for taxes. This hotel is in a really good location, with plenty of restaurants nearby and some attractions are walking distances away. The rooms were slightly dated and the WiFi was very slow. Apart from that, nice stay and the reception staff were friendly.
Great place and really warm and serving staff. Clean and quite near the centre of Rome (15 minutes max on foot). However, during the night we got really cold and the aircondition wasn't working! Plus, the breakfast was satisfying though the place was kinda dirty. All in all, it is worth its money!

Guys on reception are very kind! The room is small, but enough. Bed with clean bed sheed, shower, window, cupboard. Breakfast is included. Closed to the center and termini station. A good choice for low-cost travel if one aims to go sight-seeing most of the day and luxury is not a must!
It is very well located, close to Termini station. The room is small, comfortable and the bathroom very clean. What I think should improve is that the signal of wif, because,i do not reach to the rooms and you have to go down to the lobby. The rooms do not have air conditioning.
The location is excellent, the rooms raisins and heat are dirty, the care is good the breakfast is passable, quality decent price, good for sightseeing and sleeping, not for enjoying the hotel. The rooms are twin/double beds
For the price you can expect no comfort. Our room was clean and for Sleeping completely in order. The staff at the reception were friendly. You can also reach from the Hotel, everything was great to the foot.

Perfect hybrid of a hotel and an AirBnB if you book a room in their annex. Great value - great breakfast and very helpful staff. Pin-drop quiet but a stroll away from the action.
This hotel was clean and had the usual things needed in a hotel. It was a little hard to find. But after the very nice desk clerk showed us a passageway/tunnel we could go right into Campo di Fiore plaza where there were markets and restaurants. Is not a luxurious place but I felt cosy and welcomed. The room decoration was really lovely, colourful and antique. They offered a small buffet breakfast, which was enough to keep you going. It's in walking distance from the Spanish Steps and Fontana Di Trevi. We walked mostly everywhere we needed, with a 20 weeks baby girl bump... ❤️.
Staff, especially Mr Danielo, very professional, helpful and courteous. Location fantastic for walking to sights or close to public transport. Very nice breakfast. Hotel clean, but rustic. I would gladly stay there again.
Fantastic location in the city, walk every where. We had the apartment on top floor, one large bedroom including spa. Nice kitchenette, dining and lounge room combined. Highly recommend.
Atypical of this type of hotel. A large family room with 3 single beds for myself & 2 children.
A very clean, well maintained older style hotel. My daughter was delighted to see a bidet in the bathroom.
Marble staircase & antique elevator added to the charm.
It is too bad that the government charges a city tax if €4.00 per person per night. This is to be collected once you check out. In Australia ...
One plug socket in the entire room, and the fridge was plugged into that how are we meant to charge phones laptops etc.

I spent there five nights in the summer of 2017. The place was clean and about 5 minutes from San Giovanni station. Hot water, decent breakfast (it's not a hotel) and the nuns running the place very polite. I'm not sure however if they spoke any english, maybe it's because the saw me trying to talk only italian so they only talked back in italian. Really amazing service, really good breakfast. The bathrooms are lovely. But the blankets are a little itchy and the key is heavy! Luckily you don't have to take the key anywhere. Other than that the staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. Awesome hotel!
The staff is extremely friendly and the rooms are kept clean enough.
I found the single room to be too small, and the bed so small, I barely fit. (I'm not that tall, but I couldn't stretch my full length laying down).

Staff were super friendly and accommodating on my recent stay here. The hotel offers a good variety of food, especially given the current circumstances, but they do add on a service charge, so I explored local eateries nearby. A hotel that lived up to my high expectations, what more could you want.
