B&B Hotel Verona Sud

Arrived here around 11pm. Checking in was a hassle, lots of information needed to be entered on a screen which could also have been asked before arrival.

Rooms were spacious, but very warm. Airco did not operate. Opening the windows not really an option because of location next to the highway.

Not expensive, but also not worth a lot of money

I recently stayed at this hotel and, unfortunately, my experience was less than satisfactory. There were several issues that I encountered during my stay.

First, the condition of the room was disappointing. As shown in the photos, there were noticeable scratches and damage on the door. It appeared as if it had not been maintained properly, which gave the room an unkempt and neglected feel.

Additionally, the view from my window was less than ideal. Instead of a pleasant view, I was met with a glaring light and an unfinished construction site. This made it difficult to enjoy any natural light without being blinded or feeling like I was staying in an industrial zone.

Overall, the lack of attention to detail and maintenance, coupled with the unsightly view, made my stay less enjoyable. I hope the management takes these issues seriously and makes the necessary improvements for future guests.

We were traveling with a group of 6 people and all of us were quite disappointed with our stay. 2 of us switched their room, one due to strong smoke smell and one due to location right next to the breakfast area. This luckily was not a problem. However, the rooms still were not nice. Not well maintained, broken tiles, dirty surfaces. And it was loud: the highway noise was loud, people talking in the hallway (poor noise isolation of the rooms), the water pipes whenever someone else used the shower or toilet, and even the bed squeak with every move. The view was depressing.

On the plus side, staff was quite friendly and there is free parking.

It was a bad experience. The room they gave us (I don't know if they are all like that) didn't have the most basic comfort. The mattress was too bad and so were the pillows - it was not possible to sleep all night with back pain. I know it's not a hotel where we can expect much comfort, but discomfort like this is too bad and don't offer good value for money.
