Mettavary Hotel in Phnom Penh

Good price for a fancy hotel right behind Bassac street. Friendly staff spoke English and easily accommodated my requests via message ahead of time. Nice massage inside and 2 pools including a rooftop pool with a bar! It has a 360 degree view. You can hear the live music down in Bassac street. Buffet breakfast was included! Very nice stay here!

A fabulous hotel, definitely worth every penny. Big spacious clean rooms, beautiful views especially from the rooftop at night. Great location. All the reception team are so friendly and welcoming and the breakfast is outstanding!! A huge selection, the food is cooked perfectly, plus they have an espresso coffee machine!! Better than a 5star hotel breakfast. I highly recommend and will stay here again !

Very comfortable clean room about 5 mins from the riverside in a tuk tuk . Helpful staff and a tasty breakfast.

They speak English, the rooms are reasonably priced, there are a few tuk tuk drivers at the hotel you can get a lift from, and the vibes here are immaculate! Truly a great time.

We recommend booking your stay with the breakfast included. It’s pretty great. Noodle station, eggs your way by request, salad bar, fruit, pastries, breads, and a variety of savory dishes. All buffet style and all you can eat.

The only things that would have made it better would be: if they gave us two free room keys, actual butter (not just margarine), if they had more days of French toast (it was SO tasty!), if the gym was bigger, if the checkout process was faster (though they were thorough), and if the bathroom amenities were fully stocked. We were out of shower gel, shampoo, and toilet paper by day two; our room just wasn’t topped off.

But all in all, the staff were great; friendly and welcoming. And we wish we could’ve stayed longer.

We’ve stayed here several times to take a break from our everyday routine. The rooms are always clean, the staff are friendly, and the coffee is great. The rooftop pool is a bit small, but the view is absolutely wonderful.

We had a wonderful stay here. The hotel is perfectly located with lots of restaurants nearby. The staff were very warm and welcoming. The rooms were beautiful. The roof to pool and bar was a nice bonus. We would definitely stay again!

Great and polite staff, only 1 key per room, not great if you wanna charge your devices while being out. Great value for money. Lift can be a bit slow. Breakfast was decent. In summary, great value for this 4 stars.
