Janne Hotel

It has beautiful antique and very clean place. It's not far from the city centre. I always prefer staying outside of city centre, quite area.

My flight was very late so I arrived at 11pm unfortunately. Reception is available from 8am - 9pm so if you would like to access to the hotel outside of this time, you need to do self check-in, but it was very easy process.
I needed to make sure about my reservation so I called them twice, they're very nice and kind, I really appreciate their help.
I love the atmosphere of the hotel and it was very clean.
What I struggle a bit is taking showers since the floor on the toilet is same floor as the shower parts and it has only curtain.
In the room, there are kettle and fridge, microwave, dishes and cutlery, so even if you think you would like to stay in Latvia for long periods, it would be a good place.
There's market very close to this hotel, and it has everything. That place has food courts, cafe ...etc
But coffee place and small convenience store is also walking distance.
If I come to Latvia Riga again, I would love to stay again.

A perfect 3* hotel with style and atmosphere. Very nice and friendly staff. Some people write rhat it smells in the bath. I did not notice any smell and the bed was very comfortable too.

Very friendly staff in this hotel! I am not the guest of this hotel, just parked my car in front of the hotel and asked the staff it is possible to park there and any trouble for them. The kind and beautiful lady told
me it’s a safe place to park and no any trouble. Feel very warm in this unlucky Saturday(my family is in the hospital). It happened on 24th of August. Actually this kind of warm things happened every day for me foreigners, I love Latvia very much!!!! ❤️🇱🇻❤️
Of course the location of this hotel is very convenient: bus stop is nearby, a super market and special local market are available in walking distance. If I need a hotel, this one is definitely my choice!

This was a perfect quaint little place away from the hustle and bustle of downtown but only 3 km from downtown Riga. It was a perfect location for us. Staff was amazingly friendly and helpful.
Wonderful little breakfast delivered to our room. Also love that they have bee hives on the roof. The owner of this place takes pride in his location and it shows.

- Uncomfortable beds with spring mattresses.
-Weird bathroom with only waterproof rubber floor, so after shower whole room is flooded. Recommend to take flip flops

Recently spent 4 nights at the hotel as my partner had to be urgently admitted to the University Hospital over the weekend. Staff were extremely accommodating with my booking and were of great help in finding local services. There are laundry facilities available which require an app but extremely easy to use and a lot cheaper than a laundromat. The room was clean and tidy as to be expected. Public transport via buses are right outside the hotel making it easy to get around Riga. No hesitation in recommending Hotel Janne.

A cozy, unique little hotel with many sewing machines, bikes and a garden cat! Friendly staff, that makes you feel like an olds friend. Tidy rooms. The location is close to the city centre, but in a quiet and nice neighborhood. Also another thing worth mentioning that they have bees on their roof. And they sell honey from those bees. Thank you all for a wonderful stay!
