Cheap and cheerful kind of place. For the price you pay, most things are better than expected.
On the downside, the rooms are quite dated, bit of funky smell (carpets?) and noise insulation is poor - can easily hear conversations from other rooms.
On the positives:
- breakfast is good
- decent size room, with amenities you would find in 4****/business hotels
- smiling, helpful, cheerful reception staff
- very convenient location, lots of public transport available to go to the center/sea in 15-20 minutes
- large size bed with decent mattress

Fine hotel, everything is a bit dated but in good condition. The hallways and rooms smell strongly after cheap cleaner though.

Very lovely and friendly reception boys and girls. They can communicate in English very well. After we booked twice for the same time due to a technical glitch with Booking, they were very helpful and resolved the issue.
The breakfast was very good. The parking behind the hotel was very safe. There is a tram to the old town of Riga right outside the hotel. Just buy the ticket and you can avoid the expensive parking fee in the crowded old town.
I would recommend this hotel to others.

Budget hotel, you get what you pay for. Breakfast is reasonable, good location to the tram stop, and rooms comfortable, especially the bed.
However, my experience here is iffy. Once the fridge wasn't working, cleanliness is so-so, and sometimes you here all sorts of noises through the ventilation. One time we had two false fire alarms in the same day where we had to evacuate the building, one at 11pm. No one at administration at the reception to instruct what to do, people milling about. Staff can be friendly or rude, some don't speak Latvian and have a flippant, don't care attitude. Rooms need a mirror and tea and coffee making - standard of hotels in the same price category. Also no AC in standard room is a minus. Not the best hotel in it's star range.

Nice hotel with great staff.
Rooms were nice and food was excelent. Big terrace is fantastic! In front of hotel are trams and bus so you can go city center in 20 minutes.

As a 3 star hotel, it met the expectations. It is clean, staff is polite and helpful.

Decent-enough service for a good price hotel. Staff friendly. Breakfast has a good choice of food.

room reeks of smoke and cologne, especially bathroom. wallpaper peeling off and bathroom door closes badly. no light on worktable. bed is soft, good windows and heating. a big bath. sink drain never cleaned.

Absolutely no sound isolation, can hear even smallest movement, coughing, anything from all sides. First thing when entering bathroom seeing bugs running. Only soap and towels, no robe, no slippers.

Rooms is OK, but not more. Breakfast is great in my opinion. Room service hardly working and if u leaving label to clean it up whey will change only towels....
