Hotel 81 Gold in Singapore

We stayed for a week at Hotel 81 Gold and really enjoyed our time here. The room was very clean and comfortable, with everything we needed for a short stay. The bed was also comfortable. The staff at the reception were super nice and helpful, and check-in was smooth and quick.

The hotel is well located, with bus stops nearby that make it easy to reach the city center. There are also plenty of good places to eat around the area, which was very convenient. The overall atmosphere felt safe and pleasant.

The only downside is that the shower isn’t separated from the rest of the bathroom, so the sink and toilet area get quite wet when showering, and the water tends to stay on the floor for a while.

Other than that, everything was great — definitely a good value for money and a nice option for a stay in Singapore.

A decent hotel, this is my second time staying here. The only downside was that the intern who checked me in at the front desk was constantly coughing and not wearing a mask. Everything else was fine.

I had a very comfortable stay. The room, although small, was well-equipped, making it perfect for a solo traveler. Downstairs, there are plenty of dining options and a bus stop, which is ideal for those traveling alone.

Great hotel, but very small space.

First impression was great. Love the locations, nice vibes, lots of eateries buzzing all day and in the evening. Hotels is in a quiet residential areas with great bus connection and 10mins walk to Aljunied mrt st.Front of house team James ,Salma and the young Indian receptionist were all very helpful, smiley , courteous and professional. I really appreciate James for letting me checking out later as i overslept and free luggage storage. Shame for the stained bed linen...hence minus one star! All in all it is a decent, clean place to stay , value for money

Good hotel for its price. The room we had was clean but they only provide 1 room card per room which is okay for the most part for us. Theres a nearby bus stop then like 5-10mins walk to Aljunied MRT station.

CJ and Salma are super nice and welcoming. They recommended great restaurants in the area and upgrade the room for us. I’d love to stay here again!

The room was so cute & clean. Serrvices here r so good, staff did a great job. Around here also have a lot of restaurant, near bus stop, near train stop. I love it here gonna come back

The room was very clean, equipped with a hairdryer and readily available drinking water. The service was exceptional – staff were attentive and genuinely warm. It's especially recommended for solo travelers or couples. You'll find plenty of authentic local restaurants nearby, all within easy walking distance.
