Arawana Express Phromphong Mini-hotel

This was the worst hotel experience of my life, we looked at four different rooms and they all had horrible chemical cleaning smells, we tried to stay in the room for an hour after choosing the one with the least amount of chemical smell, my wife and I had really bad headaches, we were getting dizzy and nauseous and sick, we asked the hotel for a refund, the night manager said they would give us a refund, but we had to contact the owner the next day, we did and they refused to give us a refund and denied that the hotel had any strong chemical cleaning solutions used, which was a total lie. There are many fake reviews about this hotel, it isn’t even one star, you couldn’t pay me to stay there, absolutely horrible experience

Terrible experience. It is 3AM, I traveled 27 hours, and they don't want to check me in. Agora and booking does not take the previous day as it is midnight. Their card machine doesn't work. The receptionist at 3AM does not want to take my passport as guarante. He told me to leave for another hotel. Don't stay here.

I didn’t feel comfortable with staying at this hotel. The first room I entered smelled really bad and the bathroom was leaking.

Thankfully the staff changed my room which was on the 3rd floor. The second room was better but I couldn’t sleep well because of the noise of people next to the road talking and screaming every nights. The wifi and outlets didn’t work properly. The shower door was broken.

I am sad because I saw a lot of people complaining about things like me on google review but it doesn’t seem to improve at all. This hotel was really affordable and the staffs and the location are nice, but I’m not gonna use this hotel again.
