UHG means AVOID!!!

How does this hotel have 4 stars??? The noise from the street is insane. If UHG means some standard, at least have a sound proof windows instead of cheap ear plug in the room for good night sleep.

This is not 4 stars hotel. I will not trust any hotel that has UHG. They have no standard. U won’t get good sleep due to the noise from the street.

If this hotel weren’t so disappointing, I wouldn’t bother wasting my time writing this review. I chose this place because it’s a 4-star branded hotel with a convenient location near the BTS and had good service reviews. But if you don’t want to experience the nightmare I went through, I suggest you read this carefully before booking.
First, the room I was given had an extremely strong, pungent odor, similar to insecticide. Even after turning on the air conditioning and opening the windows, the smell didn’t go away. It was suffocating and unbearable. When I called the front desk at night to request a room change, I was told there were no available rooms.
Second, although the hotel is conveniently close to the main street—just one building away, about 10 meters—half of the rooms face the road. Unfortunately, the windows and balcony doors have no soundproofing at all. The thin glass does nothing to block the noise. At 3 or 4 AM, I was constantly disturbed by the roaring sounds of motorbikes and cars speeding down the street.
Can you imagine being awake at 4 or 5 in the morning, dealing with overwhelming noise, choking on a terrible smell, and listening to the dripping sound of water leaking from the air conditioner on the balcony—unable to sleep and just waiting miserably for sunrise?
Third, regarding service — in Thailand, known as the Land of Smiles, this hotel completely lacks warmth. The front desk staff didn’t even offer basic courtesies like "thank you" or "sorry." We booked 3 rooms, but during check-in, they repeated the process three times, giving us one room key at a time, as if they had no idea how to handle multiple bookings efficiently. They also charged a deposit, but the amount didn’t match what was stated on the receipt. When we questioned it, they insisted it was correct—without even a hint of an apology.
Lastly, the room’s lighting design was ridiculous. The switches were inconsistent, and figuring out how to control the bedroom lights took endless trial and error.

In summary, while the hotel is close to the BTS station and there’s a convenience store downstairs, you have a 50% chance of getting a room facing the noisy main road—and experiencing sleepless nights. If you're a light sleeper, think twice before booking. As for breakfast, it was average at best.
For me, I will never consider staying at this hotel again.
