Roof View Place

Really enjoyed staying at the Roof View Place! It is an older well maintained value property centrally located near lots of great restaurants cafes and small stores. The spacious air conditioned room had tall ceilings a window and a small balcony. A small refrigerator fan TV and small desk round out the comfortable room. The included breakfast was large and changed on a daily basis and there is a free daily delivery of bottled water. Owner and Staff were friendly and helpful. Easy walk to Khao San Road.

Booked this place for my first 2 nights upon arriving in Bangkok as I arrived at 1am and didn't fancy going to a hostel at that time. They were super accommodating and said it was no problem to check in after 12am, somone waited up for me.

The rooms are clean and beds are comfy and they have a private shower, toilet, balcony, fridge and safe. The aircon is fantastic and super quiet (I thought it was broken at first cause it was so quiet!) there is also a fan.

Everyday they give you 2 free bottles of water and a clean towel to your room.

Free breakfast and coffee in the morning and the staff and very kind and friendly.

The location is perfect for me, its down a cute quiet street where you can only hear the birds at night, but also only a few mins walk from a tone of other hostels, and a 15min walk from khaosan road. The streets and the allys feel very safe to walk around at night and there are even a few street food vendors (and a dispensery if you're into that kind of thing) near the hotel.

Its about 10 minutes walk to Khao San Road in a very quiet area.
Loved it!

Minuses: old, a bit loud fridge in the room, old type aircon, no kettle in the room (cups are there)- but this is not an issue as kettle is avaliable in the kitchen- ground floor.
Pluses: very comfortable and clean pillow and matress, hot water in the shower, quiet street, good breakfast with unlimited coffee, very nice and helpfull owners. Fresh towels/paper and bottle water every day. You can store your luggages. Good location.
Overall I am recommending, and other guest were happy to- when we chat about the place.

I have stayed here twice now, first just after the country opened up to visitors after COVID-19 and again last week. It is not a high end luxury destination nor is it backpacker party central but it is comfortable, well appointed, quiet and very clean. The owners are just the nicest people and incredibly kind. It's well located with numerous food places close by, near to a few laundries and a convenience store about 500 metres away. It's easy walking distance to bus stops and not far from the Khao San Rd precinct. All at a very reasonable price. All in all it's great value for money and thoroughly recommended.

Good location to visit Khaosan Road, Royal Palace and other Bangkok attractions. Staff were extremely welcoming and friendly. We were able to check-in early after a 13 hour flight allowing us to have a few hours kip and make the most of our day. Room was clean and air-conditioning worked well. Breakfast was a good selection. Overall a great value place to stay. Would stay again.

The room is very clean and spacious. It has a simple single bed, safety box and a full body mirror. But expect to climb couple of stairs to your room. They serve thai food breakfast downstairs in the morning.

The front desk lady is very helpful, she provide me a map copy and explain to me the bus to wat pho and chatuchak market -which saves me from taxi spending.

The walk from the mainroad to the hotel seems safe since there are couple of other hotel and some small shops and cart that open in the morning.

Good place for a solo traveller.

Correct quality/price ratio. Individual rooms din need to pay double. Includes breakfast, basic but family
