Somwang Boutique Hotel

We had a fabulous stay here. The place was charming, clean and the staff were extremely accommodating. Would recommend.

As vegans, they do offer a hot breakfast - usually consisting of hot noodles - but do make a point of requesting it each day before as they will only make it on specific request. Once informed, the lovely staff went out of their way to accommodate.

Rooms were clean, if small and the location was central to a lot of great food and entertainment offerings.

1st time to Somwang but a favourite of my relatives. Situated at a quiet lane but it is only 5mins walk to Tha Pae gate!

Rooms are very clean. There is a pool but it was super cold when I swam in it in Dec. Haha!

Bfast is a good spread.
A few convenience stores, pharmacies, massage parlors, eateries, all within short walking distance.

A good place to stay when in Chiang Mai old city!

I had a wonderful experience at this hotel! The pool was lovely, the room was clean and breakfast was delicious! They even held my bags for me all day after I checked out

Friendly staff. Super quiet hotel. Great location. The family room is quite large, and 'king size' beds are American -size 'king.' There are two free/community clothes washers on the third floor, which is an incredible amenity to have
Breakfast in the morning is quite diverse with a decent selection even if you are vegetarian or vwgan. Each pot of coffee is made from freshly ground beans, and the pancakes are a particular favorite-so light and fluffy!

I had a truly wonderful stay at the Somwang Boutique Hotel. The courtyard was peaceful and charming. The staff was exceptional in providing good service. The location was perfect for adventuring out each morning. Laundry facilities were on site. The breakfast was something I looked forward to, with its abundance of fresh fruit, vegetables, toast, yogurt, cereals, coffee, juices, pancakes. And more... I plan on coming back as it is affordable and relaxing.

It is a lovely hotel where the staff are so very helpful and friendly. Breakfast in the Somwang restaurant is a great experience and offers both cooked food and a buffet.

This hotel was fantastic. The staff were very friendly and accommodating to everything needed. They had free water in the lobby and helped give recommendations for food and massages. The location is great as it is in the walled city with food, drinks, and shops right around it, and it is also close to the night market outside the walled city. Overall a great stay for a great value.

A wonderful hotel in a great location. Can get to most of the main attractions in Chiang Mai in about 10 minutes by scooter.

One of our favourites of all the places we stayed during a month in Thailand. Rooms and common spaces were always kept clean. Breakfast was good.

We spend a day here to enjoy the Songkran festival around the area. I like the authentic vibe of the room's interior design. The price is reasonable. The service is excellent. The staff are pleasant, approachable and accommodating. There are variety of yummy foods and drinks to choose from. You can even ask staff for additional orders. Our rooms is in front of the swimming floor and my two daughters really love it.
