Eliz Hotel Convention Center Thermal Spa & Wellnes

I stayed at Eliz Hotel for a vacation and overall, I found the location and surroundings to be quite pleasant, not too far from the city. Getting around by taxi was easy, with no issues. The check-in process was smooth, and the staff at the reception were very friendly and welcoming. In fact, all the staff I encountered were nice and professional so far.

The room is spacious and comfortable, with everything in place. However, I had some issues with the amenities. The wellness area seems more tailored to older guests, and unfortunately, I found it neither very clean nor particularly appealing for younger visitors. Additionally, I was disappointed to find that although the wellness center is advertised as being open until 10:30 PM, they actually close at 10 PM, while the women’s side reportedly stays open until 11 PM. This inconsistency was frustrating.

The hotel restaurant is good, but the food that can be ordered to the room often arrives cold, greasy, and takes a very long time to be delivered. In my experience, it simply isn’t worth ordering, as it doesn’t taste fresh and feels like reheated food rather than a proper meal. The dishes in general are quite heavy on pastries like börek, with limited healthier options, which could be disappointing for guests watching their diet.

I also had a disappointing experience with the massage service. I personally found it unprofessional, as I didn’t feel that the staff were properly trained. It seemed like they were just going through the motions, and I actually left the session with more pain than before.

The fitness studio also has room for improvement. They currently only have 4-5 machines, and there are no barbells or other useful equipment, which I found disappointing.

Additionally, I would recommend that the hotel offer more activities for younger guests to avoid boredom. For example, organizing sports activities like basketball or other events would be a great way to engage younger visitors.
