Truth is the staff is very unprofessional. Don’t bother asking for a manager because she’s more incompetent than her staff. They don’t seem to understand the concept of a reservation. We got to check in only to find out our room was already given away to other guests. They gave us another room but told us to check out the next day and move to another room. We stayed 3 nights in 3 different rooms. Finally we decided to change hotels not only for the filthy rooms but for the rudest staff we’ve ever seen anywhere around the world. Do yourself a favour and avoid this 1 star hotel.

There is NO non-smoking rooms. Thus, all rooms smell cigarettes(I’ve been in three). Not like someone just smoked, but like people have been smoking in there for months. The receptionist can’t really help as all the rooms have the same problem. The smell is on the walls, furniture, curtains.

The hotel did not seem like a four star hotel. When we arrived for our stay, we were let down. The pool was closed due to construction which we were not notified about at all despite the weather being 25°C.

The noise from construction work at both the hotel and the neighbouring hotel made it hard to relax. After just two nights, we decided to leave early. Despite paying for many more nights, the hotel only refunded us for two, which was frustrating.

When we tried to talk to the staff they blamed the hotel management for the policy which prevented them from issuing a refund for more than two nights. They acknowledged that the social media manager should have notified guests. Whilst I understand the front desk staff didn't have the authority to issue a refund it was very frustrating nonetheless, particularly given the lack of communication around the fact that the pool was closed and that the gym wasn't operational.

Overall, our experience was the most negative of any hotel I have stayed in before. The hotel has enormous but unrealised potential. The communication and management of the hotel needs to improve.

Pacco Sea and City Hotel Spa markets itself as a pristine four-star destination boasting fantastic amenities like a spacious pool, outdoor lounging area, and a fitness center with a sauna. Eager to escape the chill of our home climate, we were drawn to the promise of relaxation, particularly appreciating the pool given the rocky nearby beach. Despite booking three weeks prior, we received no communication from the hotel. Upon arrival, we checked in late at night with no mention of any ongoing events. It wasn't until breakfast the next morning that we discovered the pool was closed for construction, met with a curt response from reception. Disappointed by the lack of apology or accommodation, we opted to explore alternative accommodations, cutting our stay short. While the hotel agreed to refund two of our prepaid nights, we were dissatisfied with the explanation provided by reception regarding the lack of updates on their website or social media. Despite the courteous demeanor of the reception staff, we were left with a sour impression. It's disheartening when a hotel advertises amenities, charges accordingly, and fails to deliver without prior notice.For prospective visitors, it's worth noting:Consistent with other reviews, the beds are uncomfortably firm.Breakfast offerings are average, par for the course at many hotels.The gym equipment is in disrepair, with non-gym items strewn about and malfunctioning lights.
