Adding to our discomfort, the room setup was not what we anticipated. Instead of proper bedding, we were given a sofa bed, which was extremely uncomfortable. The regular beds were no better, leading to restless nights for all of us.
The only redeeming factor was the kids’ pool, which the children enjoyed. However, even that couldn’t make up for the other issues we encountered.
The food was a major disappointment. There was a lack of variety, with the same dishes being served every day. For a 5-star resort, especially one in Turkey, you would expect a showcase of the rich Turkish cuisine, but it fell completely flat. Moreover, if you have any food allergies, beware. There were no clear signs indicating what the dishes or desserts contained, making it a risky experience for those with dietary restrictions.
To make matters worse, some areas of the resort had a lingering, unpleasant odor that made certain places almost unbearable. Overall, this was a thoroughly disappointing stay, and I would not recommend it.
The biggest issue was the location—it’s quite far from the convention center, which made commuting inconvenient. Additionally, during heavy rain, the area seemed ill-prepared, causing some discomfort. The rooms themselves are poorly designed, offering only twin beds and showing clear signs of needing renovation.
Overall, while the amenities were enjoyable, the distance to key locations and the condition of the rooms leave room for improvement.
I liked how the lifeguards kept an eye on everything and were direct with people about safety, which was reassuring. It's ok if people don't speak English, I'm sure those visiting don't speak turkish either, I didn't find it a problem at all,
I will be visiting again, there's so much to do and we had pictures taken at a reasonable price, booked through blue sea holidays
The room we stayed in was spacious and had a great view from the balcony, which we enjoyed each morning. There are so many pools to choose from, and even though we’re not really into water parks, we found the one at the hotel to be really fun! The poolside service was great too—easy access to drinks and snacks throughout the day.
We also enjoyed the spa. It was very relaxing, and even though we didn’t go for a lot of treatments, just spending time there was a nice way to unwind.
The food was really good too. There were plenty of options between the buffet and à la carte restaurants, so we never got bored. The atmosphere at the hotel was lively but not too much, which made it perfect for a laid-back stay.
Overall, Granada Belek offered everything we needed for a great holiday
...comfortable rooms, good food, lots of activities, and a nice balance of relaxation and fun. It’s a great choice if you're looking for a mix of both!
Variety of foods and drinks are being served which they are mostly delicious
Hygiene here is non-existent, first thing the room was very dirty under the beds, full of dust (and I’m allergic) and we even found cans under there. Plus it was quite old furnished, door had started to peel of on the sides. Next thing, the big swimming pool on the sides is really dirty, that it looks like mud in the tiles and while swimming with the kids we had poo floating and none of the staff did anything about it, my husband had to remove it with some cups coz it was everywhere.
At the kids pool where the slides are, I left my bag with some spare clothes in the floor and when I picked it up later on, it was stinking. So I had to take all the clothes to was and evens had to pay 100+ euros for that.
Tv wasn’t working and after a long try to reach the reception, they were very fussy about bringing a technician to fix it.
The view from our room was terrible, with old buildings and piles of concrete and stuff, that looks like a building site, but no one was building.
The restaurant is super busy, very hard to find a table to sit and people around are kind of rude and angry because I guess everyone is stressed out from this experience. Food is not good either.
We did complain to the manager and no one ever did anything about it.
So bloody not worth it.
