I advise on it
Absolutely unacceptable: They forgot to return my deposit at checkout. Upon several requests, they asked me to send a friend/ relative to the hotel to pick up the deposit. I told them I was a tourist and had no friends or relatives in Istanbul! I asked them to send the money to my credit card but they said they couldn’t do that, which is unbelievable. They finally agreed to settle but only in Turkish lira instead of the original euro I gave them. That means I would have to lose in exchange rate and also handling fee. That is really bad.
