The location was also above our expectations with really nice restaurants nearby, cozy neighborhoods and easy to get to the things we wanted to visit. We had a great stay at the Demiray. It is in a great location in Sultanahmet which is walking distance to the Grand Bizarre, Spice Bizarre, Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque and Topkapi palace. It is close to the T1 tram. Be aware that there are steep steps nearby which google maps using took us back to the hotel via! I am sure you could find a way round it. As we had 1 year old baby and my mom with painful knee it was really hard to walk all that up and down every day from the hotel to the main locations in old city . Rooms were dirty. Service from reception was good but housekeeping don't speak English . It took us forever to get an iron . It was conveniently situated but I wouldn't book it again

There are quite a few restaurants and take away outlets around, plus an outlet of the Turkish supermarket chain, Migros, is nearby. Walking around the hotel gives one a good opportunity to grasp how ordinary people live. Workout a mobile internet deal with your provider. Learn a few Turkish words, and never forget the God-sent Google Translator! 😊

The rooftop cafe is one of my favorite place in the city. I come here often with my laptop to get some work done. The staff people are very nice. The food and coffee is great and the view breathtaking.

Beautiful hotel in a great location

There is no better hotel in Istanbul. From decor and hospitality to cuisine and location, I cannot recommend this place highly enough.

This is my second time at the Best city kadikoy Hotel. I want to say thank you to all the staff for their support and always trying to help in everything we need. A special thank you to Salim, one off the best staff hotel I ever met. Hopefully will not be my last time in Istanbul and if I'm back I know where to stay for sure.

We stayed here for 9 nights during my rhinoplasty operation, the hotel was clean, towels and paper roll were provided every time when asked, the service it’s very good and they know english as well. Location it’s close to many restaurants and ferry. I would stay again 👍

Highly recommended. I had booked an economy but the staff kindly upgraded me to a larger room. The room was clean and tidy. Staff speak excellent English. I arrived before check in and they were happy to accommodate me. Location is nice and close to the docks.

Comfortable room with accessible location. Strongly recommend this hotel if you are looking for a hotel in the area. It is clean and towels are changed everyday. They don't provide toothbrush and toothpaste which is fine since we brought our own.

Beautiful hotel in a historic building of a former bank. Even the cells and the large metal door of the vault were preserved in the design. 8 minutes walk from the metro station. The rooms have vaulted ceilings, very atmospheric. 17 minutes walk to the new embankment. Very comfortable bed and beautiful historic design of the rooms, but modern. Didn't like the breakfasts for 20 euros! Very sad choice...

Stylish modern hotel in a historic building on Bankovskaya Street. We stayed in a simple suite with a view (that's what it's called on the tripcom). The room is on the top fifth floor, spacious, windows overlook three sides, a panoramic window overlooking the Golden Horn Bay, there is a balcony. The view from the room is excellent. Very friendly staff, I arrived late and check-in was fast and smooth. I needed a room after checkout for some meetings and the staff was able to accommodate. Great experience. Fantastic view from the restaurant!
