Everything is great, but there is a but. The water in the shower did not drain, we asked to look. It seems they tried, but the water did not drain during the rest of the stay.

Wi-Fi failed for 3 days, did not connect, only once was successful.

There are no questions about the bed linen: they changed everything, everything was clean.

They did not refill the shower gel, on the 3rd day it was already empty.

A solid three or four with a minus.

The location is perfect, no argument there.

And on top of everything, the top floor terrace is not functioning, the hotel is undergoing some kind of renovation at the beginning of July.

Dirty room and black mold in the bathroom. Very loud music from the mosque every morning at 6am, since this hotel is right next to it. The photos does not match the actual hotel, 2-star hotel at max.

Very kind staffs, clean room and nice view from 6F floor. Very close to tram station, and go sightseeing easily.

The Hotel is welcoming and offers very good, no frills accommodation. No bar or breakfast options but close to many establishments so you are spoilt for choice. The bedding and towels were excellent. Would have rated higher but our fridge didn't work, neither did the bathroom extractor and the window was hard to close. Despite the central location, close to the waterfront in Karakoy, it was very quiet. Daily housekeeping even over a public holiday. Helpful reception staff who made recommendations when asked and sorted our airport taxi. Would definitely stay here again.

Very good location and easy to access all the main areas being in the heart of Istanbul. The hotel itself was average. The rooms could be cleaner, especially the bathroom.

Location was perfect for our holiday which involved a lot of walking to the old town and around Galata, but also included using the trams and boats which are nearby. The price was reasonable for the one-week stay. The staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. There were some mosquitoes in our room so be wary of opening the windows. The air-conditioning was good. The room itself was nice and simple with a tiny TV. The bathroom was functional however the shower drained very slowly and the sink did not have a soap dish so you end up leaving wet soap on the counter which is not ideal. The door of the room sounds quite thin as you're able to hear clearly anyone in the hall. The bed was very comfortable.

I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wishes to visit Istanbul. I actually booked this hotel accidentally because I was going to stay at a nearby hostel yet the hostel was really bad quality and made me run away, so I booked this one and it absolutely compensated the trauma that lousy hostel brought me. The location is superb, tram station and pier 2 mins walking distance, downstairs you can find high quality dessert and diner shops, I booked economic room because I am traveling alone and they put me at 5th floor, the view is stunning. And I have to mention even though it located at the center of Istanbul, it lies in a quiet alley so don’t worry getting bothered by noises. This hotel is my highlight of Istanbul and I will definitely stay here the next time I visit!

We booked two rooms, one with a "street view" but given instead a windowless room with a terrible AC which wouldn't cool down the room even two hours after we turned it on and they had to provide a fan so that my daughters can sleep the night.
The wall in the second room was smashed in by the door handle because they didn't bother to fix a stopper for the bathroom door. The TV is a computer monitor that can hardly be seen from the bed..
Finally.. I asked to borrow an iron & board but was told to bring my garment to the hotel lobby where the iron and board are kept.
I really can't justify the high rating of this place.
