Very nice little hotel, very clean, with a very friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast buffet was small but functional and satisfactory. I wish their coffee machine was real coffee instead of powderized instant, but overall the included buffet was very satisfactory. Just one uphill block from a tram stop that takes you anywhere you need to go. No complaints, good recommendation! Just be warned, as with all these inner old-city streets, they sometimes are closed for cars at unpredictable times, making it difficult for taxis to get to the lobby door. But you will experience that in many places in the old city.

A big big thank you to the staff at reception. The front of house staff at this hotel are so amazing, super sweet, kind, and attentive. Nothing is too much for them. They are so helpful with tips on how to get out and about whilst spending the least amount of money. They are so honest. The staff really made the stay a memorable one. The hotel is really well located and is a few minutes' walk to Aya Sophia, Grand Bazaar, but the walk up to the main street is a little bit steep, but I found it OK. We stayed in a quad room 315 and triple room 314, but the quad room is tiny. Both rooms were well kept and attended to by housekeeping. There is a sauna but a cost associated with use, around 8 euros per visit, which wasn't advertised when booking the hotel, which was a bit of a disappointment. Strong WiFi. Used the safe in the room to keep our valuables and had no issues. Most importantly, as a group of 7 ladies, we felt very safe at this hotel.

Excellent hotel, I would like to thank the the staff who were very helpful during our stay. Our room was upgraded to a balcony view. They helped us with our transfer and carried our luggage after a tiring flight. The hotel is in a great location is clean and the air conditioning is a bonus in the heat. Breakfast was very good and we looked forward to it everyday.

It is located in the Sultanahmet area of Istanbul. Well, I am standing up and giving a standing ovation 👏. From the time we checked in, the welcome and service received were outstanding and excellent. Ismail at reception gave us a warm welcome. We were taken to our room, given advice on local restaurants and excursions. Twin room, clean and excellent decor, well sized room. Shower room with toilet with built-in bidet. Power shower with all the necessary amenities. Complimentary toiletries supplied. Fridge with snacks and drinks stocked reasonably priced. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast continental and Turkish style breakfast. Good selection and very tasty. The hotel has made our short stay memorable. Would highly recommended. It's beyond 5 stars 🌟 👏👏👏👏🇹🇷

Stayed for 7 nights with family.
Veysal, Ismail and Murat looked after us. Always made sure we were safe and knew where we going.
The hotel was clean, the room service and breakfast bar staff were kind and caring. The food was great and atmosphere was lovely.
I'm glad i stayed here and will definitely come back soon.

Wow this hotel make everything easy, they have very intelligent Reception with good English skills , they answered every single question and they have very clean bathrooms and beds, we will recommend this hotel to our friends and family, Thank you Aprilis gold hotel you are perfect.

This hotel very good one if this is first time coming to Istanbul the location in the old city is very good you can walk to important places from hotel area , the have very friendly Reception , and oh the breakfast so delicious Everything is taste the omelet to cheese and coffee and tea, they have very clean rooms and the clean rooms every day . The location is good, the tourist attractions are nearby. Cleanliness is excellent. Breakfast, quality is poor. The staff si good and kind. Transferring customers to the airport is more expensive than taxi.

I liked this hotel. Location close to many tourist attractions. Good staff. Room was small but had 2extra bed and we liked that because we paid for double bed and my son had a large bed for free:-)
