Best Western Empire Palace Hotel & Spa

A fine hotel in a great location in the old town. The rooms are comfortable and the breakfast was tasty. I felt very at home here.

I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights last week, and it was a very pleasant stay. The rooms were really nice and comfy bed. The location is excellent right in the middle of shopping area with lots of restaurants and shops close by. The staff was very good. Both the day time and night time receptionists were super nice. They helped us with our bags. The breakfast was also excellent with lots of options. I would stay here again.

Loved our stay here. Very friendly and welcoming staff (came and found us when our taxi could not get to the hotel) made us feel comfortable and looked after. Breakfast was lovely, plenty to chose from. The location is ideal, about 10 minutes from Hagia Sofia and Blue Mosque, the Topkapi Palace, Grand Bazaar. 30 mins to get to Galata Tower (if you are not inclined to wander like we did). Plenty of reasonable places to eat locally as long as you are prepared to leave the main road. You even get used to the 0630 call to prayer after the first night (two big Mosques close by....). Would recommend to anyone.

I had a wonderful stay at the Best Western Empire Palace Hotel & Spa in Istanbul. The hotel is located in a historic building that has been beautifully renovated. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and elegantly decorated. The breakfast buffet offers a variety of delicious dishes. In addition, the rest of the time the restaurant has amazing food with wonderful customer service. The food is incredible along with free tea! The hotel also has a spa, a restaurant, and a cocktail lounge where you can relax and enjoy the views of the city. Just be weary of people who are trying to scam you around the city so I would recommend you educate yourself and research the city. Its an amazing country and so much information for you to learn prior to coming.

The best part of the hotel is its amazing location. Just be weary about the taxis, they may drop you on the top of the road that goes down to the hotel, so best to call the hotel and they will help with the luggage.

The hotel is just a few minutes’ walk from the Blue Mosque, one of the most stunning and iconic monuments of Istanbul. The hotel is also close to other attractions, such as the Hagia Sophia, the Topkapi Palace, the Grand Bazaar, and the Spice Bazaar. You can easily explore the rich history and culture of Istanbul by walking or taking the tram from the nearby station. The hotel is also convenient for airport transfers, as it offers a shuttle service upon request.

One of the things that made my stay so special was the incredible amazing staff. They were always helpful, courteous, and professional, with a smile on their faces. They went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and comfortable. They were not just employees, they were friends. I truly appreciate their hospitality and kindness.

Finally, understand the transit system, because if you are able to use it, you will save so much money and everything will be accessible. Taxis know your in a tourist trap, so they are always charging you double or triple. Hard to find people who speak English but it wont be a problem at this hotel.

I highly recommend the Best Western Empire Palace Hotel & Spa for anyone who wants to experience the best of Istanbul. It is a perfect choice for a memorable and enjoyable stay. Can't wait to go there again with my family in the future!!

Second time in Instanbul, the first time in this hotel. It was a wonderful stay for us. Very attentive and polite personnel, especially at the front desk. Our first night, we needed to change the room because the smoke detector was leaking, so they had 3 rooms available for us to choose. So, caring!! 😊 So we chose the one we liked and the next day they told us that they could move us to a quieter room. We kindly rejected it because we were very pleased already. The room was fully equipped. It also had available an alarm clock, even a power strip! Special thanks to the housekeeper. Extremely convenient location. Totally recommended 👌

All places in this hotel are clean, friendly staff, breakfast can be taken on the terrace, at the restaurant you can order alcohol: draft beer, cocktails… the food is delicious. I recommend this hotel! 😍
