HOTEL BRONTE

Initially part of the group including me had a bad experience here in the sense that we got a room that did not have fully functioning AC. Also the room was near the street and if you opened the window it would get loud and even hotter...

After lots of visits at the reception and the receptionist calling his boss all the time while he tried and tried to convince us that the AC worked.. although it was clearly NOT working normally - maybe at 5%.... worst than a simple fan... we finally got our room changed with one with a working AC...

Other than this the experience was great - the hotel is place in the lower part of a valley - if you climb that street like 5 blocks up you will find yourself near the bazar.

Also you cand find lots of restaurants nearby.

The hotel's top feature is the terrace at the top. Too bad we kind of missed most breakfasts since our transport was leaving at 8 while the breakfast was not ready by that time...

The hotel is magnificent with a sea view, the staff are very kind and helpful, they make you feel so comfortable, you feel at home.
the room is well equipped, air conditioned and for sotit in the evening it is secure. I highly recommend it!

We arrived pretty late, but even then, the host was friendly and cordial. The rooms were cozy and spacious, with modern interiors and clean toilets.

The highlight of the hotel is definitely the last floor/rooftop where the restaurant is found, as it looks directly on the Bosphorus and the city skyline, and serves tasty, traditional breakfasts whose service is included in the initial price. The whole hotel gives great value for your money, especially as everything touristically important is only 15-20 minutes away by foot.

The only downside I would argue is that the hotel is found in a more sketchy neighborhood. We never felt any danger, but the architecture around it isn't exactly in the fashion of the rest of the city. I wouldn't advise solo female travelers to stay here, though. Also, insulation isn't the strongest, and the outside sounds are quite audible in the rooms.

Highly recommend staying at the Brontë Hotel Istanbul. The service was exceptional, very friendly greetings from everyone there. The free breakfast included is great, they put on a lovely spread of traditional Turkish food. The location is right amongst the action so everything is within walking distance.

Nice hotel and great service. Just a slightly noisy area. But beautiful rooftop.

The rooms exactly as you see them in photos, really comfortable and clean. When you will go up for the breakfast don’t be afraid of what you ll see. This is not the breakfast, take your seat and they will serve you a really really delicious breakfast. Perfect for not " everybody-touches" common plates.
The guys in reception…. sooooo so helpful and good souls, bravo. Let me suggest you to leave your car there and take your feet to go whatever you want. Nearby the hotel are all the stores that you need for shopping. Don’t go to the "great bazar" the prices are 3 times higher. Definitely I found a place to stay every time I go to Istanbul.
