Delta Hotel Istanbul

I stayed in this hotel. The rooms are very small, two people fit in the elevator, and the elevator is constantly rocking. The carpets in the rooms have not been washed for a long time and are very dirty, the dressers next to the bed as well, you can't close the bathroom door because of the enema, the tiles in the bathroom are full of mold, the wallpaper on the walls of the room is peeling. The restaurant is located on the seventh floor and from 7 in the morning you cannot sleep because of the noise caused by the chairs and tables being dragged across the floor. Towels are changed every day, but the rooms are not cleaned at all and are very dirty. I do not recommend the hotel for a longer stay than two nights.

At the Delta Hotel in Istanbul, I stayed from May 25, 2024, to June 1, 2024, with a group of friends in a triple room. When we entered, we were met with an unpleasant smell and an unventilated room. The bedding was clean, but the floor was not vacuumed at all. We found a candy wrapper and remnants of trash from previous guests on the couch. So, cleanliness gets zero points. It has very good access to public transport, with a tram and bus station nearby. Breakfast is decent; the first morning it was okay for the price we paid, but by the second morning, all the leftovers from the previous day were served with very little change, and the food was not always fresh. We could somehow tolerate all this, but on the day of our departure, the receptionist wrote a review in my name after taking my phone and saying he would help me. I didn't need help, as I know how to write a review myself. The review read: "The hotel location was amazing you can go to old city with public transport thanks to a lot to Mr Volkan he is very helpfully and Abdullah superman good man." I don't agree with this because I don't even know who these people are. Besides, reviews are for guests to rate the hotel's service, not for the hotel to rate itself. All the good reviews for this hotel likely came about in the same or a similar manner.

I would not recommend this hotel for the reasons mentioned, the only good thing is its accessibility to public transport.

We booked a family suite with a kitchen and balcony. We also called the hotel before booking to confirm if the suite was wheelchair accessible. Upon arrival, we were offered a different room with no kitchen and stairs leading to the interior. Not only did the hotel entrance have about 10 stairs and lack wheelchair accessibility, but our room also had stairs inside. The small room barely fit a double bed and two single beds. It had a small window, was not clean, and had a very bad smell in the bathroom.
We complained upon arrival that this was not the suite we booked. Not only did they fail to apologize for the inconvenience, but the sales manager and receptionist shouted at us rudely and offered to let us cancel our booking and leave. Finding a suitable wheelchair-accessible suite for a few people at short notice was obviously difficult. This resulted in wasting the first few days of our trip calling booking back and forth to cancel our booking as we needed the funds to find accommodation elsewhere. This was our worse travel experience.

The worst hotel ever!!!
No room service for two days even though we asked for it!! Guy at the reception keeps on lying to us ????
Do not go there, it's not worth a dollar!!
