Reviews
So if you are looking for good hotel then this one is not for you.
When we first checked in, the room we received was extremely small — just about the size of the bed itself. The bathroom was of a regular size, but the sliding door design left around 2–3 cm of open space all around, which didn’t offer much privacy. There were no pillowcases, which struck me as odd, and the cleanliness wasn't impressive. The TV was really small, and I didn’t even bother turning it on.
We initially overlooked these issues since we had paid a very good price, and we didn’t want to complain. However, during the night, a loud noise — probably an outdoor fan — was constantly audible. We originally assumed it was just ventilation noise, but it became very disturbing at night, so we decided to talk to the staff the next day.
The hotel staff was incredibly understanding and offered us a new room, which was slightly larger and had a better view. The bathroom door was still the same type (with a small gap), and the TV was still tiny, but the room was much quieter and overall more comfortable. That made a big difference.
One major plus is the easy access to public transportation in the area. We took the HVL-1 shuttle from the airport to the hotel, and from the stop, it was just a 10-minute walk. There are plenty of bus stations, metro lines, and even the Marmaray nearby. On our way back, we used the M11 line to the airport — you do need to transfer to reach it, but the connection is close, and it’s a huge advantage: 30 minutes to the airport, no traffic at all.
Now, the breakfast — absolutely amazing! I personally love the Turkish breakfast style, and this one was very diverse and flavorful. The coffee was excellent too — a big plus for morning coffee lovers.
Once again, the staff deserves a solid 10/10. Although their English was limited (luckily, my girlfriend speaks Turkish), they were always helpful — changing towels when needed and even offering us a late check-out at 2 PM instead of 12, as our flight was in the evening.
In conclusion, despite some small inconveniences, the staff really knew how to make us feel welcome and comfortable. For the price we paid, it was definitely a good stay.
Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and featured very comfortable bedding. Housekeeping was thorough, with fresh towels and linens provided daily.
The hotel’s location is ideal, with excellent connectivity to public transportation, which runs very efficiently. It’s just two stops away from the Grand Bazaar, making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing.
Breakfast at the hotel was a highlight, expertly managed by Mr. Hashim. The spread offered a wide variety of flavors, from hearty soups to fresh ingredients and quality dairy products. It was the perfect start to our long days of sightseeing.
The hotel also offers numerous facilities that make it ideal for both short and extended stays. With fair rates and exceptional service, I highly recommend staying at Delta Hotel.
It helped us a lot.
Overall, it was worth the price.
I would not recommend this hotel for the reasons mentioned, the only good thing is its accessibility to public transport.
