Deluxe Golden Horn Sultanahmet Hotel

This hotel is at the center of sultanahmet and is a very lively area. The popular places such as Hagia Sophia and Grand bazaar is within 5 mins walk. Great restaurants are also in the same line with the hotel. The service is impeccable, the owner is very helpful and friendly. Breakfast is at the rooftop with an amazing view, the whole ambience just makes you feel at home.
Although the rooms may need minor renovations, it is clean and the AC works perfectly well. All in all this Hotel is a must visit.

Good hotel with functionality at its heart. It's fantastic location is the obvious plus, 30 seconds from tram stop, 3 minutes from Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque area. The view from the terrace is a bonus and a nice breakfast served daily with selection of bread cheese meats and Turkish pastries. Room is small but has everything you need and is clean. Staff are very friendly and helpful and constantly made sure we were ok. Not every hotel is luxury 6 stars and it doesn't need to be.

Room are made to look like a vintage so don’t expect something like a brand new hotel!!!! And there is magic ! Old city old hotel!!! You feel everything from inside to outside!! Definitely will be back in next holiday trip!!!

I liked this hotel. Clean room, comfortable beds, free wifi, breakfast on the terrace ( l missed your omelette and fresh pastries). Terrace view is amazing. Hotel is close to everywhere. We walked to all important historical places just 2-3 minutes. I was with my friend and we felt safety. Location is best in sultanamet area. Tram is just like next door. Mosque is across the street. Staff is super friendly and helpful. I already missed Istanbul. I will definitely go there again and will stay in this hotel.

It was a great experience. I would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone. Clean rooms, beautiful terrace. Our towels and sheets changed every day, bathroom cleaned every day. Room view is perfect. Hotel staff arranged what we needed from outside. They recommended best places for visit, eat and have fun. The owner was a gentleman. He and his team were great.

The hotel has a prime location situated right at the heart of Sultanahmet Square. It is a walking distance away from Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, and the Grand Bazaar. The tram is very accessible as well. There are many shops and restaurants nearby, but they are quite expensive. My husband and I enjoyed exploring and just walking around Istanbul and finding considerable, priced, self-serviced restaurants that are much more affordable and serve more authentic Turkish food. Their breakfast buffet is at the top terrace, which gives a beautiful view of the blue mosque and its minarets.

I can only say for the rooms that we booked, which is just right for the price that we paid. We booked for a double room with a view of the mosque and the street outside. I booked for 1 double bed for me and my husband, but what we had was 2 single beds. We just didn't bother having it changed.

Our room was cleaned every day, and towels were changed with fresh ones every time. The staff was very accommodating to our needs and gave us recommendations which areas to eat that are not overpriced. They also happily arranged for our airport transfers and taxi. The staff were overall friendly and very helpful.
