I stayed in this place for 7 days. I read a lot of reviews when i was choosing hotels for stay in Istanbul. This hotel was pretty good, since it’s in the centre of historical part of Istanbul. Nearby all mosques and great shops. Cleaning was provided almost every day. Breakfast for that price it’s ok. If you want normal, average and clean and cozy place for stay and rest this is best option.

I've never written a review, but I couldn't resist here. We booked the Sultan Inn hotel, but upon arrival it turned out that the heating in the department did not work and we were moved to Deniz House. Firstly, the sheet was dirty, I had to ask for it to be changed. At the same time, the bed linen and towels are gray. The bathroom floors were very dusty. The door on the shower stall had to be held tightly to close every time, as it would fall. Secondly, WiFi didn't work at all. We reported this to the reception, but nothing changed for 2 days. They said they were fixing it, but there was still no internet. Thirdly, the heating in the room did not work. Every day I had to go downstairs and ask them to turn it on at least in the evening, since I had to sleep in pants and a sweater. They turned it on in the evening and turned it off early in the morning. The room didn't have time to warm up at all. And on the third day, they said that they could not turn on the heating, since it allegedly works automatically. And it turns on only at a certain temperature in the room. Although two days before that could have been included. No soundproofing. You can hear absolutely everything that happens on the street, as if the windows are open. Slots in the doors. Only one of the three bulbs in the chandelier is on. Because of this, the room is dim. It is generally impossible to put on makeup early in the morning. Breakfast is the same every day. Very scarce. We had to go down to the reception all the time. There wasn't really any reaction. I had to write to the travel agent of the host country, then to my travel agent. As a result, on the third day they were able to somehow solve the problem with the Internet, but with the heating everything remained the same. The only positives are the convenient location and beautiful view. Otherwise, only negative impressions that ruined the whole vacation. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone.

The hotel is cozy, the staff does not speak Russian, they do not give information, only English, but in general they are friendly. The manager wanted to charge me $40 for early arrival, but then everything worked out and at 8 am a free room was suddenly found) During the 4 days of my stay, they cleaned me once (not bad, you don’t have to expect this in our hotels) Overall I liked the room. TV is only in Turkish.

I don't recommend it to anyone! I’m finally leaving in two days. The Internet literally doesn’t work at all, so why write that it exists? Cleaning is done if you ask. Breakfast is zero. The only thing that pleases us is the view from the place where we drink our brought coffee in the morning. Karl, because the only good tea here in the hotel is tea. Small room. There is a young boor at the reception, yes it is. In the evening there are normal guys at the reception. Just a good location and that's it. Towels were changed once. In general, I do not recommend it to anyone.

2* hotel in heart of Sultan Ahmet Mosque 🕌 area.
Breakfast is pretty simple. You can sit inside or outside sitting area.

Many restaurants around and 7 minutes walk to seaside coast.
Me personally walked to Grand Bazar within 18 minutes.

I stayed 3 nights at this hotel, it was pleasant, the room was decent (room 14) , cleaned toilet and showers, didn't hear any noise from outside.

Zaynep the receptionist was super friendly, she gave me lots of tips where to get cheap food and how to avoid getting overcharged, she's so carrying. The hotel location is super nice close to the main tourist attractions and also the tram-way. Highly recommended.

I have to be realistic about why I thought it was "great" vs "OUTSTANDING"! Let's be honest, this is a hotel for people who intend to travel and take excursions. Remember, Turkey isn't SWIMMING in wealth or corporate opportunities like most fashion, economic or whatever cultural hubs of the world. That said, there is a LOT of history in this country and that is what you should be discovering instead of staying holed up in the comforts of your hotel room. That is exactly what this hotel offers - a comfortable bed, a fully functional washroom, reasonable temperature control, a sufficient breakfast, and a kindly and generous lady who, if you ask nicely with a smile, will offer to make you some good eggs for breakfast besides the half boiled one that you get as part of the standard breakfast fare. It's located very close to a BUNCH of good restaurants and shops and stores that offer a variety of products and services that you could use as part of your vacation. The staff is nice. Well, polite. Theres a lady who makes the extra effort to be hospitable beyond requirement with the guests , I think her name is Marina. Most of the other staff at the front desk are good too. They wont get too involved in your business, will answer all your questions to the point and let you be. I liked that. I don't need people to wait on me hand and foot. I had a fun time with a great ocean view. A great no-frills hotel Dont forget to ask for bottled water when you run out. They won't just automatically refresh it for you, but don't blame them for that. Turkey has water shortage

Pros: Marmara’s view (lower floors have fence) & Good bedding - cleaning service. Heating is good. Close to Sultan Ahmet zone.
Cons: Far from transport (had to climb up every time ~800m till Sultan Ahmet to reach tramway). Hobbit rooms (got hit multiple times in head while entering). Breakfast is poor (a turkish breakfast outside is better), paid double for a double room (arrived later after my wife), offered a costly Taxi service (got better tarif on our own), problems sometimes with hot water.

If you walk from Sultan Ahmet tram station, getting there is little tricky as no one is aware of this hotel. The breakfast is very limited (served on a plate) with no milk and sausages (meat) in option. However the staff is courteous and room was spacious with balcony facing Bosphorous.
