Our stay at the Diamond Royal Hotel was very pleasant. The host was extremely kind and accommodating , and our room, although small, was cozy, clean and comfortable. The hotel itself is very well-kept, and gives off an elegant vibe, with velvet and golden decor. The spa was simple but enjoyable, with one sauna and one hammam (and massage service we didn’t try), and the host was kind enough to keep the sauna on a little longer for us to enjoy.
The breakfast was always fresh: despite there not being traditional “continental breakfast” foods (yoghurt, pastries, etc) it was interesting to try new and homemade dishes.
The staff were willing to go the extra mile to make our stay the best it could be.
Will definitely stay here next time in Istanbul, thank you!

The room I was given was dirty, no duvet cover, the bedsheets looks like it hasn't been change since the last guest moved out, very small in size no space to walk, bathroom was manky, with dust and dirts, the dirty towels that the last guest used were thrown in the cabinet underneath the sink. The lift kept getting stuck, only one card given, it's hard to leave the room if you have another person inside sleeping cz then you will have to wake them up for them to open the door for you. The air conditioner remote isn't in the room and it was too warm, had to request the guy on the counter, that as well had to argue for him to give us the remote, his advice was to just open the window you will be fine. We paid for breakfast but decided to not even go near, bcz the first morning we went downstairs to for breakfast we could see flies in some dishes. The photos they have up is misleading in all ways.

Terrible Experience – Dirty Room, Broken Amenities, and No Response from Management.
I recently stayed at Diamond Royal Hotel, and my experience was extremely disappointing. Upon arrival, the room was filthy, with visible dirt and a general lack of cleanliness. There were also no basic toiletries such as soap or shampoo, which should be a standard service. After having to ask twice, I was finally provided with these items.
Beyond that, several essential amenities were either broken or completely unavailable:
The bathtub didn't work, and even when I tried to use the shower, there was not enough hot water to take a proper bath.
The hair dryer was non-functional, making it impossible to get ready comfortably.
The refrigerator didn’t work, which was particularly inconvenient as I had intended to store some items during my stay.
The Wi-Fi was also down, making it impossible to work or connect with others.
To make matters worse, on the second day of my stay, my keycard stopped working, and I had no access to my room. I had to go back and forth with staff just to regain entry.
I have already sent an email to the management regarding these issues, but I have yet to receive a response. If I do not hear back soon, I will be escalating my complaint to the European Consumer Protection Office for Tourism, as the conditions and service were far below acceptable standards.
I strongly advise future guests to reconsider staying at this hotel unless these issues are addressed.

- The interior is a little tired, but great for coming and sleeping. The main thing is that it was always clean and tidied up.

+ The hotel is located in the most convenient location for tourists who come to Istanbul for the first time. It was just us! A relatively quiet place, but literally next to a busy street. There is an excellent transport interchange nearby: a convenient tram, a metro station and a river port with 7 stops. There are also exchange offices with a good exchange rate, a shop and restaurants nearby.- The interior is a little tired, but great for coming and sleeping. The main thing is that it was always clean and tidied up.

Very cute and very good hotel in the city center. The hotel is close to the tram and metro, ferry terminal and also close to most museums. Breakfast was good. The rooms are not small, suitable for a holiday. The hotel staff was very kind, they helped us in every situation.

Was not as elaborate in person as it looked in the photos. However the hotel was fine for our short visit as we were out all day. Very comfortable bed - bathroom was not up to standard. Staff were extremely kind and helpful. Accommodation came with a free hammam treatment and we took the opportunity of also having a massage - this was amazing and wonderful and would thoroughly recommend. The location of the hotel is absolutely perfect for getting to the sights - 10 minute walk to the blue mosque, hagia Sofia, basilica cistern etc. Overall the hotel suites our needs perfectly. Everything is in your doorstep. Breakfast was OK. Overall would definitely recommend for short stay.

Very cozy rooms with comfy beds. Reception stuff is extremely friendly and helpful, especially Ferhat and Ali. Big thank to everyone, which made our stay so nice. Breakfast was yummy, localisation is brilliant. Very close to many attractions in the old town. Highly recommended 👌

I’m from iraq , when i go to istanbul i go to this hotel because it’s a very good and a perfect hotel with his staff ❤️❤️❤️ love it so much because it’s very quiet and very nerby for metro station and it’s a very safe hotel ❤️❤️ if someone want to come to istanbul come to the diamond royal hotel

What a fabulous place with fabulous people who look after you all the way. Ok the rooms are good showing an odd blemish or two but that pales into insignificance when you realise how well looked after you are by all of the staff. They go the extra mile to make sure you’re ok. Recommend staying here anytime you’re in Istanbul, it’s perfectly located for everything, breakfast is different but has a bit of something for everyone. Just sitting outside watching the World go by is worth it alone. Modern room access is amazing with an electric make up my room, do not disturb and door bell. Can’t praise the people working there enough.
