DoubleTree by Hilton Istanbul - Piyalepasa

Our stay at Piyalepaşa Hilton was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the staff, and the level of service remained impeccable throughout our stay. The facilities were top-notch, and the rooms were spacious, clean, and elegantly designed.

A special thank you to Ela, who went above and beyond to make our experience truly memorable. Her attention to detail and genuine care made us feel right at home.

We highly recommend Piyalepaşa Hilton to anyone seeking a luxurious and welcoming stay in Istanbul. We will definitely be returning!

We stayed this hotel 3nights. such a nice hotel, lobby and rooms, but staff was not good. Location is good and they have shuttle to taksim. But staff is not so much professional. I think that some of them don’t know anything about hotel working(it is not about all of them.) Housekeeping worker forget to put teeth paste and towel some day. Thank you so much

Amazing staff! Very friendly and very focused on making your stay perfect. We’ve been there for 14 nights (11.01-25.01.2024) and we booked with half board. I have to say that those people from the restaurant went above and beyond to make our stay amazing!
Special thanks to Emily :) who was amazing each and every time and also to the restaurant chief of staff who made us special menu for the dinner considering we were there for 2 weeks in order for us not to eat the same dish every night.
The rooms service was spectacular and also the food was very tasty! My favourites were the lentils soup and the lava cake. Thanks again to all of you! You made our stay amazong and we will remember it as one of the best!
The only downside for this hotel was the location, but has nothing to do with the people. And they have a FREE shuttle bus that takes you to Taksim and from there you can go wherever you want with metro/cab/ tram to visit Istanbul.

I’m staying in this hotel for 5 nights. May 2 to 7.
The restaurant is amazing with tasty foods.
I come here for breakfast and dinner.
Beside the food service is fantastic.
Server Thuta is very nice and helpful.
Always he take care of me, he is nice and respectful, also speaks good English.
I would love to come again and again to this place. 🙏

First time in Istanbul, Turkey and was scammed (double charged, not sure whether the driver was doing it intentionally or not) by the taxi driver.

However one of the crew, Tolga helped us to identify the driver and contacted the company. Miraculously, he also returned the fund.

Hotel was great, very decent, gym, and shuttle bus also available and very worth compare to the price.

Recommended for everyone who haven't been to Turkey before!

The hotel is relatively good. Although it is old building, but it is clean and tidy. the rooms are clean and of average size, and the breakfast is normal and good, but the breakfast place is small. it has a small and beautiful lobby, the pool is relatively good. the location is not very good, and it is not close to entertainment centers and Tourist and shopping places. In general, we were satisfied with our stay at this hotel.

We've spent 2 nights in this hotel. All in all the experience was positive, although some things could be improved:

1. I guess the curtains in the room needed some laundry because every time we opened and closed them, there was a lot of little dust. Such dust also was flying in the room (it's visible when the weather is sunny), and the table was also covered in this little dust. I even tried to clean the table myself with a wet wipe, but in a few seconds, the table was dusty again.
2. Speaking about the bathroom, there weren't even cotton pads or ear sticks. There was a little paper on which it was written that we can ask for everything we need at the reception desk. But it's super uncomfortable, and I guess at least cotton pads and ear sticks could be provided in the bathroom as everyone uses them.
3. Also, in the bathroom, there wasn't a glass for toothbrushes. I kept my toothbrushes in the plastic bag I brought them with (usually all hotels provide such glasses).
4. In the wardrobe, there were very few hangers. We came for 2 nights, it was ok but for those who spend 1 week or more, the amount is critical.
5. The bedsheets smell a bit strange. I guess they are washed with unscented washing powder, but at least a bit of scent could be added because they don't smell like they're clean.
6. There were no robes in the room. My husband and I never use them, but for those who need them, it may be a minus.
7. The workers at the reception desk never said hello/good afternoon/good evening or never even smiled. I looked right into their eyes, and they saw it but said nothing. In such a hotel, usually reception desk workers are more welcoming and respectful.

The thing I liked a lot was breakfast. It was super delicious and variable. I guess one of the best breakfasts I've ever tried. The staff in the restaurant is also very friendly, always smiling and helpful. But here I need to add that my husband is Turkish, and he noticed that in the restaurant the staff was swearing a lot while talking with each other, thinking that no one understands them.
