The hotel is 3* at best by US standards.
The main issues was the AC not working in our room - it was just working as a fan, no cooling. In the end of September, you could open the window in the inner courtyard, unless bugged by mosquitoes and the muezzin.
The view from the rooftop is good (watch out for the seagulls), the coffee and the omelet are also good, the rest of the breakfast is mediocre.

The Erguvan hotel is a wonderful place to stay in Istanbul. Located within walking distance to the Blue Mosque and Aya Sofya, it’s right at the center of the city & the water. Selim at the front was incredibly kind and welcoming and treated us like family. I highly recommend staying here.

The room had no iron, and the refrigerator was not so cold.
The room was clean, cozy, and spacious. Didn't hear any noise from outside.
The hotel has an elevator, and it's very helpful after exploring Istanbul all day long. All reception staff were offering very good service, all thumbs for them.
Near the Blue Mosque, mini shop, and children playground. There is also a mini sports ground for adults nearby.
The hotel is also near the Indonesian restaurant: Bu Deden.

Tiny but very well maintained and placed hotel within Sultanahmet area. Service is very good and staff very friendly and always here to help and provide the best suggestions on what to see and how to navigate the mighty city of Istanbul. They made our five days stay in Istanbul an enjoyable and stress free one. Thank you!

Great hotel in the best location in Istanbul. Much recommended for new visitors.

Had a lovely week here. Very comfortable hotel.
Staff very friendly and helpful. The location is unbeatable. The old hippodrome walls are a few metres away. Certainly good value. It would be my top pick if I return to Istanbul.

Staying at this hotel at the moment, spent 9 nights here. As it’s my first time in Istanbul I made sure to find a hotel in an area close to the places I was looking to visit, i.e. blue mosque, Hagia Sophia which are less than a 5 minute walk away. Not only is this hotel in excellent location, surrounded by various food and transportation services such as trams and buses. But the service is beyond our expectations. Communication is easy as mostly every staff member can speak English, as well as this, the staff is extremely kind and understanding, helping us with directions, advice on places to visit. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my stay here and I will definitely choose this hotel whenever I come back to Istanbul!

Thin walls. Leaking cieling. Broken bed. Booked 2 months in advanced and room was taken on arrival. Will not recommend. Decent location is only good thing.

Homey feel, very nice and helpful staff. Less than a 5-10 min walk to everything important! Blue Mosque was hardly 5 minutes away. Breakfast was simple but good.

Excellent and budget friendly hotel, nice and helpful staff especially the Manager Mr. Ozee. In the heart of Sultan Ahmet and very close to all tourist attractions.
