The hotel staff, especially Yousef and Ahmed, were really nice. The place was clean, and breakfast was yummy. Plus, the hotel is in a great spot, with two tram stations nearby. You can easily walk to alot places like the Egyptian Bazaar, Hagia Sophia, Sultanahmet, and Gulhane Park. I totally recommend staying here for a fun time in Istanbul!
However, there's one issue to note: the sound insulation between rooms isn't great. You might hear what's happening in the rooms nearby. But overall, it's still a great place to stay

I highly recommend the Evsen Hotel. The location is excellent, with everything nearby. The hotel is clean and tidy, the staff is friendly, and a special thanks to Mr. Temur Ergashaliev at the reception. We will gladly return here anytime.

Avoid this hotel! With fraudulent scam they try to earn more money.
We got on the booking portal only pictures of large and beautiful rooms. When we arrived at the hotel, we got a very small room, as you can see from our pictures.
The gentleman at the reception said that their employee made a mistake and uploaded the wrong pictures on the portal. Nevertheless, the boss could only give us the room that was shown on the booking portal for an additional amount of 20€ per night. All the conversations did not bring anything. They said that if we cancel the room through the portal, we would get our money back, they could not give it to us from the cash register.
In the end we were stuck with the costs because we didn't get the money from either the booking portal or the hotel.

- Walls were quite thin so one can hear people from neighbouring suite. Especially, if neighbours are noisy.

+ Almost all Istanbul historical sights area located within 10-15 minutes walk from the hotel. The hotel offers a rich breakfast buffet with a various selection of dishes. The food is tasty. The bed has comfortable mattress yet it is pretty short, so tall people may experience some discomfort. Room was clean and tidy. However, staff sometimes have forgotten to restoke soap and toilet paper. Staff was very polite and always ready to help.- Walls were quite thin so one can hear people from neighbouring suite. Especially, if neighbours are noisy.

We were first given a room at the top floor which is tiny and really dirty. The was a bad smell coming from the drainage in the toilet. We made a complain and was moved to another room, very tiny.
I wish I could show the pictures of the rooms.
I am not recommending this hotel apart from location which is surrounded by restaurants, close to Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque.

Housekeeping steal your things and management blames it on the clients . Rooms were tiny with no windows, totally different than what is shown in pictures. room was right infront of the lift and noisy. Overall a bad experience

This hotel located in Amazing place, very good and excellent staffs, very clean, high level precotions for corona, hygiene all the time ... Yes i can recommend this hotel..
The location is ao quite & Excellent , near all markets and touristic sites, yes it's beautiful place and near of many of cafés & restaurants in sirkeci. The breakfast is ok.
The economic room was too small which was only the negative point for this hotel..

I had no idea all the rooms weren't like mine until I was leaving and found out I had been upgraded to the room with all the traditional Turkish tile and fixtures. On checkout, they also gave me two gifts to take on my way. Both of the men who worked the front desk and with whom I had interactions were incredibly friendly and conversational. Overall, incredible hospitality, excellent price, and most importantly, it's just around the corner from everything I wanted to see, especially the Hagia Sophia, where I spent hours, and a very nice Turkish Bath called Sultan Suleyman Hamam. Will definitely stay here again next time I'm in Istanbul and retrace all my steps (and add a few more hopefully!).
