Fantastic visit. We are always nervous after reading some of the negative reviews, but they couldn’t be further from the truth. The staff are truly wonderful — so helpful and accommodating. The room has character and is in really great shape. No, it’s not a new build like some of the mega hotels - but that’s why we picked this one. The location couldn’t be any better, and it’s such a plus to have a relatively quiet rooftop bar/restaurant right on site. We would absolutely return to this hotel in the future.

The Hotel George is in a prime location with breathtaking views. It has a cool lounge and rooftop bar. It’s perfect for a short trip to Istanbul. The rooms are beautiful, and the value for money is great. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful.

Georges Hôtel is a lovely boutique hotel. The highlight has to be the view. The view from our room was amazing and ever changing. I could have spent hours on the balcony watching the traffic on the Bosphorous and Golden Horn. Our room was large, comfortable and well appointed.

Really pleasant, easygoing boutique hotel with magnificent views. A great retreat from the hussle and bustle of Istanbul. Very well placed in cool Galata district. We had a wonderful Turkish breakfast with top quality products. The service is kind and discreet. The bed was also very confortable .The only down point,I would say is the low lighting in the rooms but I assume it is to do with electricity supply issues beyond their control.

One of the best stays I’ve had in Istanbul! The location is perfect, and the food at Le Fumoir was outstanding. The jazz music and ambiance created a magical evening.
A hidden gem with exceptional service and beautiful rooms. Waking up to the views of Istanbul from the terrace was priceless. I’ll be back for sure!

Amazing location in the heart of old town. The main attractions of Istanbul are within walking distance. The rooms are very comfortable and we were lucky enough to have views of the Bosphorus. The staff were really friendly and helpful, the restaurant was the best we found in the area - but relatively pricey. Thank you for a great stay.

The rooftop has amazing views, but the place is wildly overpriced and a bit mismanaged. We sat down as the only people there and ordered two cocktails (20+$ each). The drinks came out and mine was a bit sweet. About half way through, a man came over and poured a random amount of aperol from the bottle into my drink saying that he forgot the aperol (it was a four ingredient drink). Since the aperol was not measured, it made my drink pretty gross. Weird place, but again, views were amazing

Had an amazing time at the Georges Hotel with family over the weekend for our first trip to Istanbul. The rooms are fantastic and the view is incredible. Highly reccomended for those of you considering a short trip to check out the city and culture.

I stayed in the terrace suite, it was a remarkable experience, the room was cozy and clean, staff was attentive and kind. We also loved the terrace with a great view. We certainly consider coming back again in the future! ..................

Super friendly and hospitable staff. We felt right at home. The atmosphere is great and has really nice views from ground level and from the rooftop. Would definitely be back next time we’re in Istanbul
