What I Liked

Our stay at Germir Palas Hotel had several positive aspects. The location is unbeatable, right in front of the famous park in Taksim Square, making it perfect for walking and exploring the area. Transportation options are plentiful and easily accessible, adding to the convenience. The check-in and checkout processes were both smooth and efficient, and the hotel staff were quick to assist with our luggage, which was especially helpful given the pedestrian-only access to the hotel. The breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious, well-cooked options, making for a pleasant start to each day. Additionally, the staff were exceptionally friendly, always smiling and eager to help. Although communication in English was sometimes challenging, tools like Google Translate made it manageable. Once they understood what you needed, the staff—whether it was the room service lady, reception, or breakfast staff—were incredibly helpful and accommodating, going out of their way to assist.

What I Didn’t Like

There were a few downsides to our stay, though. Like many hotels in Istanbul, the soundproofing was not great, and we could hear noise from the surrounding rooms, which was a bit disruptive. Additionally, while the hotel offers the option to book tours and attractions, we found that the prices were quite high. It’s much better to explore the many tourist offices around Taksim Square, where you can find more competitive rates. Don’t expect anything luxurious, as it’s a 4-star hotel; however, it offers good value for money and is a solid overall choice with some room for improvement.

The location was unbeatable. You get to stay in the heart of Taksim and have easy access to exploring Istanbul from a clean and beautiful hotel. Would stay here again when I am back in Istanbul.

Stayed for only two days but everything was so good. Location is exceptional. Hotel is very clean with an English club like style with authentic brass , engraved glass and leather sofas in the Lobby. Some very interesting original paintings too.
Didn't try their food though.

I recently stayed at the Germir Palas Hotel and was thoroughly impressed by its prime location, impeccable cleanliness, and the genuinely friendly staff. Nestled in a convenient spot, it’s perfect for exploring the surrounding area without any hassle. The rooms, though compact, are exquisitely maintained, sparkling clean, and provide a cozy refuge after a day of sightseeing or business meetings. They are ideally suited for solo travelers or couples, as the space might be restrictive for larger groups. Overall, this hotel offers a great value for its comfort and superb service. Highly recommended for those who prioritize a clean, friendly, and strategically located base in the city!

My brother and I toured Istanbul for 8 nights and stayed in four different hotels around Taksim square in August 2022. Germir Palas Hotel was by far the best of the four and yet with lowest price! Unlike the other three, this hotel is run professionally and the staff take care of the guests. The attitude and treatment of the guests at this hotel shows that they have been in this business for long and care about guests impression. Our room was rather small but clean and well equipped. It is located right at the Taksim square with easy walk to many shops and restaurants.

Last march my parents stayed at Germir Palas Hotel. They were so satisfied because it was reallyyy clean, the location is perfect and the staff is so nice and kind. We decided to book this hotel for the 2nd time. Zero regrets. Just one word: PERFECT.

This hotel is a piece of heaven , lovely, cozy , quite , the manager is so nice Javi the whole hotel team are so nice location is excellent very safe price to value excellent atmosphere food all of it are really deserves it I highly recommend this place will be back for next visit
